2100 Husky,,,,,one of my all time favorite saws,,,,ran/owned one years ago that had been ported, piped and velocity stacked with K&N filter, 36 inch bar and full comp chisel chain, ran her on 98 octane with optimal oil mixed 40 to 1, tune her to max pitch with zero blubering, that thing was a monster in the wood and lasted untill I just got tired of her and went to a new saw some four years or so later,,,,,love me that model husky.

Tree falling story: Back when i was about 20 yrs old me and friend were cutting trees in the woods. Mostly standing dead large ash trees . Well one of them fell into another large live tree and was leaning allot of weight onto it. My friend decided he was going to cut the live tree down. Well ? Im sure you can see the issue. He did a notch cut ..and as soon as he touched the back side of the tree with all the tension on it,,,it split,,making a barber chair.. The split caught his jacket and chainsaw,,throwing him across the woods with the chainsaw landing near him. At same time the butt end caught the barberchair and flew way up in the air and came back down about 4 ft from him,,slamming the ground with earth shaking power. It all happened in seconds,and we knew it was very possible to happen but still got caught by it. He was not hurt at all,,but nearly died!!!
Watch chainsaw and tree cutting fail videos and half the people who came within a hair of death are still just standing there and have no idea what just happened.

I seen a huge cottonwood twist on the stump and fall almost 180 degrees wrong, taking down power lines on the other side of the road....can't remember but the wind may have had an effect.

Those stumps usually stand right back up rather abruptly when you cut the tree loose. Dangerous .nice you had the excavator to hold the root ball.
