Looks great! Thank you for the info and for your service. Building it up high and peeling it off around those emblems is where it’s at. A lot of people spend time masking all of that tiny stuff, ha
By chance any video of you or your wife wrapping chrome on those GX handles? I’d like to wrap mine back in chrome as the original chrome surfaces have all stress cracked. I was told those chrome inserts are attached with a double side tape type substance that could probably be removed carefully with heat gun and then wrap them more thoroughly. Is this how you did it or did you leave the chrome inserts attached? Looks great BTW
Hi Scott thanks for posting and watching! Unfortunately I don’t have much of my wife wrapping because she was so stressed out doing it haha. I will say that we both watched other videos that helped out a bunch. She did keep them on to wrap it because you do want tension while your doing it and keeping it on is the only way you get that
The back looks soo good. It’s such a pain doing underneath the door panel. I had issues when I plastidipped the chrome section in the rear of my car. Can’t wait to see the vehicle wrap 👍🏾👍🏾
Hey Craig they are quoting me 3800 for the truck but also an additional 400 additional for side door panels. I tried to delete it myself but came out crappy so might just let them do it:/
@@OJCoz I'm sorry, i thought you were talking about wrapping the whole car in a film - like a paint job. that is a stupid high price for chrome delete!!! I'll bet you and wife are glad you DIY and saved the $$$ It looks really nice! My 17 GX was in a minor wreck before I bought it and paint is flaking off bumper so I was considering the film/wrap as alternative to a paint job
A vinyl film wrap is exactly what I’m doing. 3800 as what he quoted me for the GX and he said if you take care of it, it should last up to seven years plus it protects the paint from scratches when off-road. And you’re absolutely right about DIY the chrome delete, even though she got so frustrated lol
No cutting, just peel. But I did end up taking it off the doors and putting satin black wrap on myself(my wife did the work actually). I think it could have came out better and the mistake I made was that the car was still slightly wet from morning dew. The rear still has it on and it’s holding up nicely.
Also I need to have the chicken coop in my backyard painted. Does your company handle that? A dip would be fine as long as the chickens are cool with it I will be to.
Nice job,I’ll try to do the same thing.
It’s hard so make sure you get a little extra to account for mistakes haha
Looks awesome!
Thanks Jorge! I hope you and the fam are doing well brother!
Rah! Looks sick!
YUT! Thanks brother!

Thanks Mark! And thank you for watching!
This is awesome. I will be doing this to my 2016 GX460 too. I plastic dipped my 2004 TRD Tacoma years ago, so my new used GX will have this done....
Thanks brother. It looks really good. Two tips, make sure it’s all the way dry and not a windy day
Way to give props to the Wife man! Nice team work!
Thanks bro! She’s the better half:)
Looks awesome…..I would have never known that it can come out that good. Thanks for the video.
Thanks Jay! I appreciate you bro
Dude, that looks great. You definitely have some patience to get that done, looks awesome.
Thanks ffjumper! I appreciate that!

Lol Omar, I’m a Marine, numbers lol. At least you’re not using crayons to delete the chrome. Thx for vid
Haha! I wish it was that easy:)

Thanks Travis! Haha yea I thought I was angling it better:/. I guess not! Haha
You HAVE to get rid of the dealer sticker on the back right corner of the tailgate. Heat gun and a fingernail will get it done
Lmao will do Forrest for sure!
Looking fwd to seeing it wrapped in black n white MARPAT. 😉
That chrome blackout job looks great, nice work!
What price are they quoting for wrap of whole truck? I travel there so might be able to use same shop

@@OJCoz What color are you going to get? I've seen some interesting wrap on LX600 build
Craig, subscribe and find out this weekend:). Haha!! I haven’t told anyone yet! But I can’t wait to see it!!!
Great job! Looks fantastic.i love the chrome delete. How is your leg? Great seeing you back up and around.
Leg is getting better thanks Tony! Thanks for watching brother
what wrap did you use for the handles?
I’ve been meaning to put the supplies in the description, but I keep forgetting. The rap is called vivid, and I got from Amazon.
Looks great. You just spray over the letters and cutaway after?

I was wondering if I was going to get a more serious comment ha ha
