Damn, that front grill really changed the look of it. It looks really nice man. You can ceramic coat the front grill! I did that to another car, very similar grill, and the ceramic coating gives it a nice dark touch. Use it on a small portion at the bottom so no one sees it and if you like it, ceramic coat the whole front grill.
Thanks for the compliment and for watching bro! And good tip on the ceramic coating. I didn’t realize you could do that to plastic. I’ll have to look into it
Great video. I have the same interior and wondered if you’ll cover the seats to ensure you protect them on your adventures with the kids. If not, I wonder if there’s a sure fire way of cleaning the interior without running both the seats and felt like material on the overhead lining. I’ve owned by 2019 GX460 now for a little over a month and absolutely love it. I want to make sure it lasts me for at least the next decade, if not more.
Hey brother, thanks for your post and thanks for watching! The interior gets pretty dirty with the kids, the dogs and all the dust from the trails. Don’t have anything great to tell you other than I clean it regularly. The seats I clean with leather cleaner, and I vacuum the headliner, at least once every couple months when I first got this GX I ended up vacuuming a little piece of the headliner and realized that it changed a whole other color! I realized that the headliner was filthy with dust and dirt. Other than that, even though it’s the family car, I’m pretty strict about kids eating inside. I hope this helps.
Thanks for your post David and thanks for the compliment! To answer your question, it was my wife’s truck first and she chose the cbi bumper. I think the cbi would have been my second choice and my first choice would have been something that had a bull bar for protection. As far as rci, I do think they offer better protection and are a little cheaper compared to cbi.
Sorry for the late response brother. So far so good on the wrap. It’s gone through a lot of thick brush so there is pin stripping on it but it’s doing its job of protecting the paint:). It’s definitely worth doing if you plan on keep the ride for a long time
Hey man! Can you let me know what material you used to wrap the front headlight? Would like to use some on the tail lights of my GX. I didn't see it on your list unfortunately
Your right Frank I’m sorry and thanks for the heads up! I’ll make that update. Here is the one I used VViViD+ Ultimate Headlight... www.amazon.com/dp/B09TL9Q8ZZ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share But be mindful that it’s not quite wide enough. When we added heat, it stretches but you don’t want it to stretch too much. The wrap itself is great stuff but try to find a wider Piece. I hope this helps
To wrap the body coat 4200.00 The chrome delete would have added another 2500.00. I guess it’s super expensive because the chrome delete is very detailed. So what I did is the chrome delete myself and saved on that portion. So all I came out of pocket was 4200.00
Hi JP thanks for your post and for watching. The GX pulls the trailer just fine on road and off road. No issues. I will say that my trailer weights maybe 2000 tops.
As always, great video, brother. Natural feel, straight forward information. Keep up the great work!!
Thanks buddy. I take notes from the pro! My supertuber! Haha
Thanks!
:)

Thanks brother! Big fan of yours too!
Beautiful build 😮 Any reason you went with CBI bumper but RCI skids & slides? Does RCI make better protection?

@Overlanding Jst Coz…Awesome GX! Love the look. Does it still give that smooth Lexus ride with the lift and tire set up? Thanks
I think it does. But my only comparison is my Commander which drives like an M1 Abram. My buddy test drove it and said it drives like it’s stock:)
@@OJCoz Cool, good to know. Thanks for the reply. I just got a 2023 GX, so I’ll be looking to do some future mods.
Congrats on getting the last year of the OG. It’s been a great truck for me.
Thank you! Yes I needed to get one before they were all gone. Looking forward to having it for many years to come.
Love this wrap Omar. How is it holding up?

@@OJCoz awesome, thanks for sharing and for the advice! Your GX is looking great! Keep the videos/updates coming.
Thanks Frank and thank you for watching!
If you don't mind sharing... Around how much was that wrap?

Nice setup...how does the gx pull your trailer? I was thinking about replacing my Tacoma with one. Thanks!
Hi JP thanks for your post and for watching. The GX pulls the trailer just fine on road and off road. No issues. I will say that my trailer weights maybe 2000 tops.
Thanks...mine weighs about 2500. So it should be no problem.
@jpking8603 I don’t think it will have any issue at all
Minor echo
Yeah sorry brother it’s that garage auto tune
