I also love that the area with Meryl , the towers, and the snow fields look so huge, but when we go back there in MGS4, it's so small and condense, lol.

metal gear solid 1 was the first to successfully create a true cinematic experience in a video game. previous games tried but failed horribly (resident evil 1996 omg, p#rn has better acting.) this truly was the first and now all games are like movies and its all thanks to metal gear solid.
Yes RE was a great game, but some of the worst cringe dialogue and acting. Though at the time of its release it was not noticeable. But than a game like this came along. Even the first Silent Hill had better voice acting than RE
Holy shit. The story telling is amazing and yet managed to educate people as well with our being boring. The character growth is great as well. 10/100 of a game. Even with this game being old the story telling and characters made it amazing. Show's that games don't need to be made pay to win or needed season passes or gambling and other stuff to make a great game.
It´s been 24 years since i first played this game, and nothing marked me more as this story, and the master way in wich it was told. Thank you so much for passing these storytellig "genes" to a new generation.
sadly kojima is no more with komani, i hope they make up in the future and remake metal gear games and hopefully releases that silent hill game kojima directed before being kicked

Their names were listed differently in the first game due to certain legal technicalities. David Hayter was listed as Sean Barker, for example
It's a shame they couldn't use the Gamecube remake and reworked it for this. But then again, nothing beats the original.
