All the people claiming that Big Boss would dominate Solid Snake or that Solid Snake would dominate Big Boss, need to replay the games and re-watch this video. Neither one would stomp/clap/dominate the other. It would be a very close battle regardless of who wins.
The legendary Solid Snake already defeated Pig Boss 3 times, Solid Snake is the Ultimate Soldier and the hero of this franchise, without him there will be no Metal Gear "SOLID".
@@abalibrahim solid only beat big boss once while he was almost in prime and big boss was an old man who wasn't even powered by nanomachines, in mgs4 on par big boss disarmed him and outsmarted him while every cell in his body was dying for FOXDIE, big boss is too smart and has too superior technique to lose against solid, if they had clashed in the respective primes there would have been no battle

I can't tell you how many times I've played through Metal Gear Solid 3, but every time I get to the end with Eva's speech about the boss I can't help but tear up. It's been well over 100 times and it still hits hard every time.
I have a real problem with Eva's speech because while it is emotional, it 1000% contradicts what The Boss told Snake in person before he killed her. She told him explicitly she wanted to make the world whole again, by using Russia's position of power and the Philosopher's Legacy to achieve that end. She confessed to Snake her dream was a world made whole, yet after this Eva tells us that The Boss was an American Hero through and through. While it adds to her complexity, it could also just be sloppy writing. Eva's speech is emotional to be sure but its gravitas is undermined by the words that came from The Boss herself. Traditionally this can be criticized as again, sloppiness but perhaps the bombastic "revelation" from Eva is supposed to ring hollow because we know everything she is telling us is a lie. The Boss didn't care about being a patriot or the ideals of America, she wanted to unite the world by any means necessary even at the expense of individual choice. She was going to force the world to unite.
@@ZamboniElite I don't feel that it's contradictory at all. The Boss told Snake about her dream and goals, but at the end of the day, she was loyal to her country, even to the detriment of her own dream. Which is why Snake then turns from the US. He wasn't going to let loyalty keep him from achieving the Boss's dream, even if his and Zero's interpretations are both flawed.
@@ZamboniEliteyou are missing the point. That's preicsely the reason she was grooming Snake; to pass the baton onto him. She was fucked, she HAD to die, there was absolutely no way out for her. This is why Eva's revelation hits so damn hard. The writing and planning of the narrative is absolutely exceptional.
I usually don't comment on MGS videos as I have lived and breathed on this franchise since MGS1 on PS1 1998 I have to say thank you for including PORTABLE OPS as it is considered CANNON in my eyes as well as in the eyes of the people who actually played PORTABLE OPS and understood its importance to the series. Not a day goes by that this amazing franchise has made a huge influence in my life. KONAMI, Tomokazu Fukushima, Hideo Kojima, Yuji Shinkawa, Noriaki Okamura and many more from the original team who made this legendary franchise into existence as it is, they have my thanks. You got everything down to the last hair, excellent video.

I always have to say the same on video's haha. Portable Ops was a pivotal point in Big Boss his history. It literally planted the idea of his Outer Heaven inside him.

*edit: unfortunately my comments analysis doesn't work, really. Shame, I felt smart. I'd never played Twin Snakes till more recently, but Big Boss's cost in 4 is actually just Liquids coat from Twin Snakes. Why? Uhhh- Holy crap, it just clicked, and if this is unintentional, then Kojima is a fae being; Big Boss' coat at the end of MGS4 is a combination of Solids weird vest suit thing, and Liquids tan trench coat. It always stuck in my head, and I could see the resemblance to the MGS1 sneaking suit, but never bothered wondering why they went for that. But there it is. With Solids sneaking suit, Liquids trench coat, and his face being a dead ringer of Solidus - Big Boss is representing every snake in his costume for the finale, and thats just neat.
Solid also was taking punches from ocelot from a robotic hand, same hand that han make a dent in Outer Haven, same Outer Haven which im sure is bullet proof. This was after he spent 5 minutes in a microwave. Solid has rediculous durability
It would definitely be a close fight, but I give it to Solid Snake. All the stuff he went through in MGS4 shows that he doesn't give up. Crawling through the microwave room and defeating Ocelot while in declining health is just on a whole other level. Big Boss disarming him at the end of MGS4 isn't as big of a feat because Solid Snake was at the end of his life and was ready to self delete. Solid Snake also showed himself to be a better person through his actions and how he treated others. He genuinely cared about the people around him and was a great mentor to Raiden. Big Boss's disagreement with Zero on how to accomplish the will of the Boss lead to the world conditions in MGS4. Solid Snake ended up bearing the burden of ending their mess.
@@ramerefauntleroy4881Big Boss only got hit with radiation, Gray Fox took no damage after a Metal Gear exploded with at the epicenter. Snake defeated him in hand to hand combat right after.
I feel like Solid Snake has better feats when it comes to physical capability, and even when it comes to CQC he moved almost like Big Boss himself even while rapid aging. Not to mention that Snake surpassing Big Boss literally happened in the games, and fits with one of the running themes of the franchise, that being sons surpassing their fathers. (Otacon surpassing Huey as an engineer and as a person in general, Fatman surpassing Stillman who was like a father to him, old foxdie virus being overwritten by a new one, the patriots ai wrestling control from major zero, and Solid Snake erasing Big Boss three times)
Big Boss is not just an expert in CQC, he is a master CQC After years of training and experimentation, Big Boss is able to quickly and effectively destroy his opponents, including those with powerful techniques or superhuman abilities. Although Solid Snake has improved a lot over the course of the series, especially under his difficult circumstances such as accelerated aging, Big Boss still outperforms him in CQC skills due to his years of experience, as well as being the one who trained Snake himself Yes, in MGS4 (Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots), Big Boss eventually appears physically weaker due to his age, but he still retains tremendous fighting abilities, especially in CQC. In that battle against Solid Snake, Big Boss, despite his deteriorating physical condition, shows that he is able to use CQC techniques in an excellent manner, and their fight reflects the differences in mentality and experience between them Despite his advanced age and loss of the physical fitness he had in his youth, Big Boss is still able to use CQC with the highest level of professionalism. This shows how Big Boss possesses mental strength and strategy beyond his physical age. Even in MGS4, CQC remains one of his most dominant skills In the end, the encounter between Big Boss and Snake in MGS4 is more than just a physical confrontation, but rather an embodiment of a clash of wills, experiences, and combat intelligence. Solid Snake may have surpassed Big Boss in some aspects, but he still respects and acknowledges Big Boss's exceptional abilities in CQC.
In a "MGS metaphysics" pov, Big Boss is a curse Naked Snake endorses, a curse that lessens him and dooms his fate to be overthrown. It is to remember that Big Boss becomes Big Boss three times. Once when he kills The Boss (official), once when he declares himself as BB (self conscious) and one last time when he becomes a MEME at the end of TPP, then he is not even human at all, he becomes more of a Big Brother figure just like Cipher. All of the Big Boss forms are surpassed by Solid Snake at the end of MGS4 and throughout the saga.
Big Boss is the more tragic figure to me, and Solid will always be my favorite character in the series purely for the fact that his sheer will pulled him through every form of bullshit that came his way. Amazing writing throughout the series!
As much as I love Snake Eater and Peace Walker, I always cared more about Solid Snake and his storyline. He was the first one I played as when I first played the demo on PS1 at around age 11, and I followed his story for the next decade, finishing MGS4 at age 22. I got very emotional during those final cutscenes.
Naked Snake started out well trained but very naiive, whereas Solid has no such issue. However he is very much under informed and Im sure it would bite him in the arse. In a battle of pure technique and strength, I think Solid would win.
i completely agree with you big boss is very naive, and it cost him alot through is missions, during the virtuous mission and ground zeros, solid snake didn't get in many scrapes because he was far more careful and un trusting, which in the line of work of espionage you cant trust anyone but yourself its fair to say solid snake was far more observant and knew when a situation was too sticky
I really like that you brought up the concept of Solid Snake from the Twin Snakes. While I never played the game sadly due to not owning a GameCube. I have played MGS1 and still think it’s the best choice if you want to enjoy the story and feel to the franchise. While The Twin Snakes definitely made Snake almost like a Matrix Character. I like the idea that someone once said. “ The Twin Snakes is basically the story told through Otacons eyes. While MGS1 is how it actually happened.” As for the scene of Solid Snake vs Gray Fox in the Twin Snakes. I liked it did show the skill sets of hand to hand combat that Solid Snake does have in the scene. Primarily using taekwondo, but still being able to use his fist effectively. In the end throwing Gray Fox over his shoulder like it was nothing. Another thing I really liked is that you brought up how many missions both characters have done and specifically explained what they were challenged with. While both have different scenarios, it still adds to the craziness they both had to deal with. All in all I enjoyed the video and really hope it agains more views and likes that it deserves.
That little codec call Snake has with Otcacon about using CQC always gets me. He learned it from the man himself, but chose not to use it because of Big boss' betrayal, even though using CQC was like second nature to him.
By the age of 33: Solid Snake - defeated Venom Snake and his elite soldiers, eliminated Outer Heaven PMC, defeated Big Boss and Grey Fox, defeated Zanzibar Land special Forces, Metal Gear D, eliminated FOXHOUND and Liquid Snake and defeated a cyborg Grey Fox, destroyed Metal Gear Rex. Big Boss- eliminated the Cobras and Volgin and the Boss and destroyed the Shagohod.
@@GeneFOX70 In my opinion rex is more powerful , ray is like a joke sorry also I forgot about that crab looking metal gear but I think Rex can do some serious damage which may and may not be true since exelcus looks like it has a strong layer of armour. Rex pretty much has the best weaponry which can deliver devastating blows on its target.
Big Boss gets massive points from enduring torture from Volgin, he also took down some A.I powered Metal Gears on his own and may and might not have been involved in some other conflicts after he woke up from a 9 year long Coma.
Before the video begins: I would say Solid Snake because due to the advancement in technology that Solid had to take down. Also the training that Solid received was created by Big Boss and others from experience. So when Solid got trained he was practically trained to the level that Big Boss has developed and learned. Also when Solid fought Big Boss in MG2, Solid only had a lighter and a something flammable. Big Boss had a gun, and Solid was worn out, tired and just got done fighting Grey Fox.
Imagine taking the lore of these games and actually drawing the opposite conclusion of the narrative. Not even an interpretation, literally just the most obvious, sometimes flatly stated reality that your opinion is wrong.
People also forget that (i guess it'd be mostly military people would know) but snake eaters were another term for Green Berets. Which...i LOVE that Green Beret's is part of his military background cause if you make a well seasoned green beret and also being a mercenary as well. That would be exactly how someone would could find themselves in snakes shoes (if this was real life) along with the other stuff he's done too of course.
Big Boss/Naked Snake vs Solid Snake between the two for sure big boss wins if they have both equipments. Solid has too many advance technology with him. There's a reason why both Liquid and Big Boss had to die by fox die. Big Boss is a legend for a reason. Even on mgs4 he was in a deep slumber for a while so his muscles and reflexes should be slowed down and yet managed to outsmart Solid on that cqc. Even on the end of mgs1 ocelot had already said the inferior one won. Solid was just a pawn on the plans to bring down the whole system that's why he has so many help as he was aging rapidly.
39:35 This is a little mistake. Zanzibar is a country in Central Asia bordering Soviet Union, China and the Middle East. This is actually of interest for your analysis, because MGS4 book says clearly that Zanzibar Land is MGS3 location, which means that Solid Snake goes through exactly the same harsh conditions than Naked Snake.
I think Solid Snake would win but barely and down to one small detail, his will to survive, his will to overcome odds. I think Big Boss lost a part of that will once he felt that the boss put her gun down.
It'd just prove big boss is the stronger solder. If he could put up a fight and then some at that old age, he'd wipe the floor with solid if he was in his prime

Solid snake would clap big boss prime for prime but did you see the shit he went through at the end of 4? After all that bollocks big boss showing up at that time whilst he's in recovery and big boss is sitting aside all new and fresh.. And I feel snake almost could feel the non life threatening usage of cqc at the time and it was throwing him off perhaps also as big boss wasnt trying to actively hurt him that might of thrown his game right off giving boss a split second advantage but.. Had he not hugged solid snake instead of hugged him, snake probably would of judo throwed his ass or tried something and it would of gone on till one went for a lethal move lol after all... there is only room for one snake. And one big boss.
Solid because he not only had the recessive genes, but did everything thanks to the training of Big Boss himself and his own incorruptible morals and willpower, I think it is pretty obvious how the series tells this narrative of how Solid is almost identical to Big Boss but while BB became deranged, angry, revengeful and egotistical Solid always fought for others not to destroy nor harm but to save lives even if nobody knew he existed nor even if it costed him his life.
When the Boss says "he (naked snake) hasen't found yet an emotion to carry into the battle" like the pain or the fury etc. Since then i always wandered what emotion would Big Boss be, i think he can be either "The Guilt" or "The Pride". Either that or... He enherited both of his mentor titles, not only "Boss" but "the joy" too
Since we already know that Solid Snake defeated both Venom Snake (fake big boss) and Naked Snake (real big boss), doesn't that answer the question? He also defeated Liquid Snake and Ocelot.

My money is on the Boss. Dude is absolutely ruthless based on the Outer Heaven lore that I hope they remake one day. Only one who could give him a run though would be Solid Snake.
your the first person say this and i love it!, some people just refuse the fact ocelots excellence in cqc even put venom snake over him, just look how damn good he got after a small bit of training in mgs3
@@mycardboardbox well those are the facts from the first encounter with naked snake till the very end when they leave in the jet also his mother unbeknown to him at the time is the mother of special forces. So in my eyes ocelot is second best.
They are both different people. They're similar but different, but both have the same will to fight! Big Boss will was controlled by the same technology as the B&B corps! But they weren't lucky enough to capture Solid Snake.
At the end of the day, everything that Solid Snake is was possible for the genes of the legendary soldier himself, Big Boss. You can compare father to son but will run into the issue of the times they had to grow up in. Solid Snake’s time was filled with much more war and technology to train and adapt to. However, taking a look at Big Boss’s feats for the time he was in only proves that he’s the better soldier who would win in a fight because if you place him in any other time than the one he’s born in, he would excel in war just as I believe the same would apply for Solid snake for having the genes of Big Boss. Now would that lead into a stalemate? I still believe not because there’s one very important difference between Big Boss and Solid snake, and that’s the feat of Big Boss adapting to losing an eye within operation snake eater for what seems almost immediately. Loss of depth perception and the eye he would primarily use for aiming for being right handed surely would cause most soldiers to falter, but Big Boss adapted to it so quickly, so much so that he still was considered the best soldier of his time. I truly believe that Solid snake is an amazing soldier, but one irrefutable truth is that he is the sack seed of Big Boss. Everything that Solid is, comes from Big Boss, which leads to the truth that Big Boss is more than Solid’s all and the only variable that affects their comparison besides that is the time they are placed in. Side by side, both at their prime, and placed in any time together, Big Boss takes the Cake for being Everything and more than what Solid Snake is.
We should have gotten a return to Camp Omega missions in phantom pain. Also it felt like 2 different games. The stories didn't feel connected. We even missed out on a sick version of Chico and a boss fight. That would have helped connect the two game's.
I feel like whatever game was your favorite is what determines who you think would win. I like big boss because of snake eater. When it comes down to it solid snake did beat big boss so... MGS is a great game series.
Something you can never forget about is Solid Snake's luck and his crew, it's never just going to be a fight between the two and Solid seems like he would always end up with a better team backing him up. As for combat, it seems like Solid Snake is the stronger player but Big Boss seems to have a better head and would outwit Solid in at least the beginning of any fight, but again Otacon will almost always even the playing field with help in those situations and Solid's battle sense is high enough to even things out. More than any of that is Solid Snake and Psycho Mantis. Is the 4th wall breaking something that has implications on Solid's actual abilities? Can he really see in 3rd person? Can he control himself from a third perspective? Is there a level of psychic ability Solid has? At the end of it all I can't see Solid losing but the confrontation between the two would absolutely not be one fight.
Big Boss has far and I do mean FAR more experience and was tested and proven in combat so much more. Solid was greatly aided by technology. BB takes Solid easily.
56:57 HAVEN. It's called Outer Haven. It's a reference to Outer Heaven, and Outer Heaven was the name of the mother company of the PMCs in MGS4, but the ship that Solid Snake has to infiltrate in MGS4 is called Outer Haven.
I see it as it makes sense for the newer generation to be better. They had wider pool of references to learn from. For example the 24th caprice was made to be a piece only Paganini could play. The peak of human performance. But in this day and age, you have no shortage of great musicians who can play it just as good if not better. But at the end of the day, it's still the 24th caprice. People right now still call it the one of if not the hardest piece ever made. Be it out of respect or just fact. I kinda see it like that too here. Makes sense why solid snake may be better than big boss, but big boss is big boss for a reason. It's like that too in peace walker and phantom pain where you can get soldiers with better stat than big boss himself.
I really think it would be a stalemate, they would fight and fight and fight but probably realize that the fight was a waste of time, before they could kill each other. Still I feel like putting the amount of infiltration missions and boss fights wouldn't be really fair, because they obviously did more in between games, especially because big boss created his own military force multiple times, while solid even went on retirement for a while, regardless, I feel like one character having more games than the other would obviously make one of them have a higher number of mission and bosses
Big Boss. Solid Snake likely had better (state of the art) training and tech on his side. Take Big Boss and Solid Snake in their prime and give them the same training and I'd say it would likely be Big Boss.
Solid Snake is basically the anti-Snake. He eliminates almost every iteration of "Snake," and was even about to self-terminate were it not for surprise dadQC.
As much as I love solid snake, do the math, liquid had the recessive genes (the superiors clone), Solidus was a perfect copy, and solid had the dominant genes (making him an inferior clone), so boss should beat snake, but the fight at the end of mgs1 makes things murky.
Ocelot stated that Liquid was wrong and had the dominant genes and that Snake had the recessive genes. Also Snake can oneshot Solidus who's a genetically enhanced clone of Big Boss amped by nanomachines and an exoskeleton.
I have no clue who would win in an actual fight between Big Boss and Solid Snake, but I can definitely say I've always liked Solid Snake more than Big Boss. And I, to this day, still think Konami did Solid Snake dirty in MGS4 with the whole accelerated aging bs...
It wasn’t BS, it pertained to the story. The clones were never meant to live long or reproduce. They were just weapons and basically once their jobs were finished. The fast aging would terminate them. Same premise of of any message James Bond received would self destruct once it finished playing. That’s called beautiful writing dude. Now if that’s how you feel/personal opinion. Well, that’s a different narrative.
@@SonGoku-yb3zm It's BS. The only reason they worked that into the plot is because Hideo Kojima--admitted by himself in several interviews--is because he wanted the MGS franchise to die and killed Solid Snake to prevent him from being in any more games. In fact, he wanted Snake to die then and there when he holds the gun in his mouth, but the development team managed to talk him out of it, and instead allowed Snake to live his last few years.
@@gyllenborg91 It seems you missed what I was saying. When I said it was good writing. I never said it was planned all a long. In everything you just stated, the why he did it. Wanting for MGS to end etc, that's all part of it my guy. This is why I said what I said at the end of a different narrative. How you feel about it and what was done is two different narratives. If you don't agree with the reasons why he did it/the aging, you have that right but for me. I liked it based on how much it fit with the story/the endgame of the cloning. In general, I loved that he died of old age rather than him using a gun or being killed.
Big Boss admitted inferiority to Snake, and tied with Gray Fox in combat. Snake defeated a cyborg and nanomachine enhanced Gray Fox in combat. Snake > Cyborg Gray Fox >>>> Human Gray Fox ~ Big Boss
i think the only reason why solid snake was able to defeat big boss in Zanzibar land is perhaps because BB had uncuncious or not know father feelings and viewed snake has a son, BB also probably let snake kill him unconciously and why didn't use cqc on snake as it would have been a death sentence for snake in zanzibar land
Solod snake fights and defeats blatantly stronger opponents than big boss. Metal gear rex piloted by liquid as well as the metal gear piloted by gray fox> every single metal gear big boss ever fought in the lore. Gray fox also just blatantly tanked the explosion of his metap gear practically unharmed and snake then proceeds to nearly kill him in a fist fight. What this means is snakes punches are more powerful than that metal gear explosion which would be equivilant to several tons of tnt in terms of energy release at a minimum. Liquid ocelot can also blatantly dodge rexs laser cannon which moves atleast at 70% the speed of light giving ocelot relativistic speed snake then bests him in a fist fight which means snake would have similar if not superior speed to ocelot. If i remember ocelot also just smashed a hole in arsenal gear with his fists meaning snake can block and take punches from someone capable of crushing through a material designed to withstand heavy ordnance like missile strikes. Compared to volgin punching a concrete wall makes volgin look like a paper tiger in comparison. This does lead me to believe even if you want to take snake chucking metal gear zekes foot like it was nothing as canon then solid snake still has an argument for being physically superior even in his old decrepid body.
bb carried metal gears without struggle. and he holds infinity, wears infinity on his face, and has infinity on top of his head. he held tge patriot while solid never canonically held it. and snake does have the inf bandana which is canon but bb has more ifinitys on him. bro wears it like its jewlery fr

Man that was the first time a video game made me tear up 🥲
I usually don't comment on MGS videos as I have lived and breathed on this franchise since MGS1 on PS1 1998
I have to say thank you for including PORTABLE OPS as it is considered CANNON in my eyes as well as in the eyes of the people who actually played PORTABLE OPS and understood its importance to the series.
You got everything down to the last hair, excellent video.
thank you very much I'm glad you feel it too there's no doubt this legacy of this franchise, will ever die and people such as yourself keep it alive thank you my friend,
Exactly, everyone who has actually played portable ops feels the same, it's cannon.
I was a mgs fan since I was 7 years old ,still am ,7years old that is... lmao jk I'm 32 but still a big fan just a little jaded due to kojimas huge inflated ego
I always have to say the same on video's haha. Portable Ops was a pivotal point in Big Boss his history. It literally planted the idea of his Outer Heaven inside him.
@@robinpimpin190PO adds nothing to the story. It takes away from Big Boss by giving someone else the credit. It sucks.
It also retcons Grey Fox and Volgin. Terrible.
If they both faced each other in their prime, I feel like it would be a stalemate, maybe Big Boss would have a slight edge but it could go either way
Yeah boss would technically have the perceived advantage but remember Solid beat Liquid even though he himself was the "inferior" brother purely by power of will.
@@eRasedXem in MGS4, the game itself says through the sheer will of solid snake alone it was how he was able to take on all the beast bosses, despite being outgunned, old, not on par technology wise and especially getting thru the oven segment
portable ops makes venom snake above solid and it makes Big Boss second strongest just under MGR raiden, portable ops lore kills Solid Snake's feat of defeating Venom and Big Boss completely, portable ops also play a huge role about how Big Boss's peace walker feats are canon and why every game after peace walker is a simulation in lore, MGSV, MGS2, Portable ops and VR missions in metal gear franchise, all I gotta say is peace walker kills all MGSV's lore making it look fake and Metal Gear Zeke mock battle in peace walker, also frank jaegers part in portable ops and MGS2's whole you are in a simulation vibe is crazy

Holy crap, it just clicked, and if this is unintentional, then Kojima is a fae being;
Big Boss' coat at the end of MGS4 is a combination of Solids weird vest suit thing, and Liquids tan trench coat.
Well, Solidus was meant to be a perfect clone of Big Boss, so Big Boss doesnt look like Solidus, Solidus looks like Big Boss to a T
@@saintdane9684 Lol valid.
Nicely said
Big boss survived a nuclear blast lol
While MGS1 is how it actually happened.”
As for the scene of Solid Snake vs Gray Fox in the Twin Snakes.
Also happy to subscribed
thank you very much for your support boss! il be sure to get myself a cigar 🚬it really means a lot
That little codec call Snake has with Otcacon about using CQC always gets me. He learned it from the man himself, but chose not to use it because of Big boss' betrayal, even though using CQC was like second nature to him.

Solid snake is literally the genetic scraps of BB. BB buries him.
you need to play some the older games
Snake is a enhanced clone of Big Boss and is stated to be stronger than him.

Great video- but this is one of the major reasons we need Metal Gear Solid 6- a remake of the MSX games to finish this question once and for all.

Snake is stated to be the strongest soldier in history and Big Boss admitted inferiority to him.

We even missed out on a sick version of Chico and a boss fight. That would have helped connect the two game's.
Big Boss wasn't even as strong as Venom, and Solid killed them both. Solid also beat Liquid, who was almost a superhuman.
Not does Metal Gear depict the characters as superhuman, even Kojima stated the Snake's are superhuman.

It's down to who needs to win for the story to progress in the way intended.
How the hell did you get mgs1 to look like 2

Big Boss has far and I do mean FAR more experience and was tested and proven in combat so much more. Solid was greatly aided by technology. BB takes Solid easily.
56:57 HAVEN. It's called Outer Haven. It's a reference to Outer Heaven, and Outer Heaven was the name of the mother company of the PMCs in MGS4, but the ship that Solid Snake has to infiltrate in MGS4 is called Outer Haven.
LMG Machine Guns is a redundancy. Other than that little chuckle, very great video, well narrated, nice analysis.

Solid didn't take much of anything into the battlefield

As much as I love solid snake, do the math, liquid had the recessive genes (the superiors clone), Solidus was a perfect copy, and solid had the dominant genes (making him an inferior clone), so boss should beat snake, but the fight at the end of mgs1 makes things murky.

In general, I loved that he died of old age rather than him using a gun or being killed.

i think the only reason why solid snake was able to defeat big boss in Zanzibar land is perhaps because BB had uncuncious or not know father feelings and viewed snake has a son, BB also probably let snake kill him unconciously and why didn't use cqc on snake as it would have been a death sentence for snake in zanzibar land

In a way ocelot and solid Snake are 2nd generation of their parents ideals.

Snake scales to Raiden's feat, Big Boss doesn't.
@GeneFOX70 ofc but the metal gears that bb lifted are not weaker than the ones in mg1. Cocoon and oeacewalker are by far stronger and heavier. Ik what kojima said and all but still.
@@GeneFOX70 and no snake dosent scale to raidens feat. big boss beats the both of them anyway.
Bb is just better🤷🏻♂️
@@GeneFOX70 this dude is a ss glazer lmao
BTW, the boss shot snake in the leg, she shot a bullet containing the fake death pill.
I feel like Big Boss knows more techniques, more sneaky, better at using guns, but i feel like Solid snake is the fast one, he learns faster and adopts to environments quicker. If they fought in their primes, mgs1 snake vs mgs peace walker i think big boss would win, he would barely win if he had the ground zeroes physique.
I can’t stand when ppl say “even more easier.” Wrong. Then has the nerve to say “all the more difficult.” So frustrating
“Preying Mantis” bro.
this is pretty funny tbh who is stronger? the worlds best spy agent soldier or the clone of him
Solid Snake would win because he has the power of good on his side.
if fox die would have worked slower then solid snake would have died in shadow mosses cause of liquid snakes larger than life durability
13:17 - SHOURYUUKEN!
I think John wick took a cqc class 😂
Big Boss is the greatest soldier in history and Snake is the strongest
Gray fox : “MORE!!! GIVE ME MORE SNAKE!!!”
Snake : “AYO CHILLLLLLL”
😂😂
idk... Solid Snake can surf board on missiles in the Wii version of MGS2
That scene was awesome
Let me get this straight. Solid snake started in Metal Gear 1 and 2? After that Solid Snakes story continues in Metal Gear Solid 1. In Metal Gear Solid 2 Solid is a sidecharacter. In Metal Gear Solid 3 prequal and about Big Boss. Solid 4 Solid Snake ends his story and has little to live.
you would be very correct 👍 👍
big boss is a legend and solid snake is just a copycat of the legend
@borakaraca9788 Solid Snake's legend has arguably surpassed BB
Big Boss literally disarmed Solid Snake and gave him a fatherly hug. He could have easily killed him at the end of MGS4. Big Boss is a chad ❤
based asf indeed
That was old Snake who had like the physical body of a 90 year old who was mentally ready to end his own life
@@The810kid whoaa bro that's deep are you alright?
@@The810kidSolid Snake was definitely aging but he was kicking and throwing around people far younger and healthier than he was too through out the entire game. But he couldn’t beat Big Boss and his loving embrace though lol
Big Boss didn't disarm Snake with CQC, he coaxed him with words. While I believe that Big Boss is the better fighter in close quarters, I still think that it would be extremely difficult for him to kill Snake.
how old is big boss in mgsv
Big Boss was born in 1935, In the game Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes, which takes place in 1975, Big Boss is around 40 years old and still a badass lol,
real BB was in his late 40's - early 50's in 1984, venom snake could be in his mid 30's or early-mid 40's.
@@giovannibalsamo6178actually venom snake is older than naked snake
yeah I feel Solid Snake is better , he didn't have XOF to clean up, back up or to make sure he survives, Big Boss is amazing as well
You made it sound like big boss start with a lot more gear
gratz on ur first premiere of 2 hour film bro lol
thanks mate
Bruh....snake killed big boss...twice....why is this a question
once
Well, it really boils down to narrative. Solid has beaten both Vernon and big BOss in his rookie years. So🤷♂️
Much as I like big boss, Solid did more with less big boss as far as I am aware never fought Solid fresh.
I think Solid will beat Big Boss because of willpower, Big Boss has only a chance in CQC
Big boss was the original an for a reason i think that his years of exsperiance tip the scale in his favour, of course solid snake was the closest replica of big biss, an he rearly came into his own, but when you look at it forgettin the gear aspect as a soldier an bare handed including survile skills hes ahead an altho i do think solid snake has a few things tipped in his favour like robo riaden on speed dial 🤣 i still think bigboss has more stratigic knolage an the ability to think of tye bigger pitcher
