oh stop its just a gimmick, you can already change actuation by swapping switches. once you find one that suits you best you are good to go. no one is swapping actuation on the fly. Its a gimmick i know what actuation distance i like and HE switches feel like garbage and can almost never be modified.
Sounds pretty good for a high profile board but the spacebar still has the high profile sound but different switches might help that. Thanks for the review!
alot of arguing down here. The sound and feel of mech switches is noticeably better, The performance of magnetic switches is noticeably better. Really you just have to find what you prefer and make a decision. One isnt objectively better than the other in all scenarios. (i do think that a "gaming brand" keyboard isnt worth buying unless it integrates those gaming features well though, because without it a custom is far better buy imo.)
The fact you can buy a mouse, an aluminum keyboard that can do much more, and a headset even, for the price of just one mouse and a plastic keyboard. Yeah no thank you.
Kinda new to the whole mechanical keyboard world and looking to upgrade my old one. I tried out the Alienware pro wireless and it honestly felt so much better than any other keyboard I tried at bestbuy. Seriously considering it but held out since it’s pretty expensive
I would never pay for a keyboard or mouse at that price point. With that said I'm surprised that said, the quality of these products are surprising for AW.
Seems every week prebuilt keyboards get more features and cheaper. Great review of Alienware products, maybe a V2 will add advancements in switches tech for fast paced games.
Been using both for about 5 months now, I love them.
I wish companies would stop naming all their products "the xxx PRO" and charge double for that.
NO, nice bait title! (baited me haha) had to click in just to comment "no" here! Do not purchase any alienware gaming peripheral.
damn the prices
Releasing a premium gaming keyboard without adjustable actuation and rapid triggers in 2024 is plain stupidity.

real
While that is a particular style many keyboards are going for, this looks like it is their version of Asus Azoth.

Oh please stop inserting HE on every Keyboard reviews

Short answer: No. Long Answer: Hell No.
Haha. Gotta love YT comments. Well played.
if this was 70 or 80 i would understand but 200? it hjad better be a hall effect board with 8K!
$200 for a non HE keyboard / Non custom board is crazy.
You’re right. There are HE boards that cost the same or even less than $200. With similar features too, and they are also custom. 😶

Am shocked how quickly the market shifts, prebuilt Aluminum Keyboards for less than £100 compared to last year prices.
I'm not very into keyboards nor am I interested in modifying them. With that being said, what would be better this or the Glorious GMMK2?
I literally bought a keyboard for $50 that sounds really good and can compete with this keyboard… I dont think the $200 price tag is worth it though
The keyboard doesn't look that much better than the logitech pro x 60 ngl

Very solid line
200$ is bad for a keyboard without rapid trigger
Are we not gonna mention the non standard bottom row? This makes finding proper compatibility for keycap swaps so much harder
That's a pretty standard bottom row, 1u modifiers are included in most half decent keycap sets
Let's go, B 🎉, love the review, keep them coming.
Save yourself the time. It's no.
200$ keyboard with no rapid trigger is useless these days
The opening scene is cute!

Yeah…but does it have Sony guts?

DPI on the bottom just killed it for me. Horrible to place it on the bottom in my opinion.
You could build a nero65 or a gas67 that will clown any gaming board for $200
798h are only 33 days 💀 not a year
7:20 that's like the worst side buttons placement I've seen in a mouse
$200 for a non HE keyboard kekw
No HE = no buy
The keyboard is very overpriced. And at a 150 dollars that mouse has a lot of competition

I love you bby
The keys sounds amazing and smoooth like butter
