Why bfs over ul spinning. Is it just preference because I can get 1/100 oz way farther with my setup, that being said idk how much 1 gram is and you could be using different line. Just curious
Bfs is more accurate, subjectively more fun, and to be honest I’ve never once felt like any of my ultralight spinning setups (some are as much as $600) casted any further than a fine tuned BFS setup. People give way too much credit to how far spinning can cast.
Basically, BC reels are existed to enhance the distance of lure cast. Even the existence of BC reel before this, it actually can't cast finnese lure with further distance and some of finnese lure can't be cast by BC reels. But within 3 years before, BFS was created to solve the issue and back to the basic which BC reels was created to cast lure further than spinning reels. So BFS can cast more distance over spinning. Other than that, BC reels are more accurate and also ease our cast routine without need to use other hand to open the reel's bail before cast and close the bail after cast
@@TheHunterFisher I feel the exact opposite. When casting 1/16 oz bfs is fine for me but anything under doesn’t go near as far as my spinning setup. I use 2 lb on spinning and 4 lb on bfs. If I want to throw 1/32 or smaller (true ultralight) I literally have to get my spinner
Good luck getting anything back over that grassline.
What rod and reel set is that
Kuying Teton and kastking kestrel bfs both available on AliExpress

@@TheHunterFisher I also feel y’all have never used a 7-8 plus foot rod for UL spinning I setup.
Baitcaster gives you more control and more fun
What does bfs mean?
It means bait finesse system it is meant to cast lighter lures since normal baitcasters can really cast light lures
