There is no real reason to buy the new one then, and even if the product just came out there is refurbtracker, so you don’t have to check for the product manually every time. I just discovered your channel but this is some great work ! Keep it up, i really enjoyed watching :)

I got a certified refurbished from Amazon a 2017 256gb model, for $350 plus tax...
It 100% beats my 2011 Sony VAIO that takes ages to turn on, and to automatically install "Windows Updates" that no authorized...
For $350 is beats all other brand new computers on the $100-500 dollar ratio.
Well, the whole refurbished thing didn't work out to well for the MacBook Air for Mac Address. (And I wonder if it was coordinated since 2 tech videos launched very closely about the same thing without being an embargo is.... insane!
most likely because they both got the same model and the same color so it is possible that they both just randomly found them at the same time

Mine didn’t turn on right away even after using the switch I had to plug it in w the charger for it to turn on isn’t it unusual for a brand new MacBook?

i perfer NEW.. The Refurbished is a gamble.. Refurbished doesnt have longevity far as battery life and performance.. Its rare to get a like new product thats refurbished..
Well you got 14 days to use it and return it for full refund if you ain't happy. My argument here is Apple stated that they will replace a new battery and outer chasis and do a few more rounds of checks for the refurbished items before they are released for sale to public again. Hence, the QC would have been better than the normal retail set. You also have the same one year warranty and you can buy Applecare+ as well. its the same thing.
Hence, I don't think there is much to lose here. But that is not the same for 3rd party refurbished units from outside.
Apple Refurbished is waaay better than regular refurbished

thats awesome i have sad news bought a new surround sound receiver and it fried in a couple of years it was refurbishied are receivers harder to fix than a macbook or does oknyo not a very good brand
But if you actually look carefully on the video, it is actually one macbook apple logo is the same as the colour and the other is more like in white colour.
You make be indeed correct. However, the coloring on these products could be identical and this video color difference could be attributed to the fact that the lighting set up in the room does not shine equally on both computers.

bad thing about it the apple refurbished is they only have the 8gb ram models. If I buy refurbished I get nothing under 16gb of ram
