There was couple little scratches on the keys, but anyway €250 off in my case totally worth it. 100% battery health, perfect display, mind-blowing performance, 1 year limited warranty
I 100% agree with looking at refurb or used, I picked up my used MBP 16 M1 for $2000 CND with apple care until 2025, the apple care sold it for me, that's an extra cost I did not have to pay for that I may or may not have to use down to road ( knock on wood).

Buy refurbished Macs/iPads/iPhones only if they’re **Apple Certified Refurbished**… Any other “refurbished/renewed” is not worth it - nobody else does the same amount of controls, checks, tests, etc. during the refurbishing process Apple does, so nobody else will ever have the same quality as Ap.C.R. Refurbished Apple products from anywhere that’s not Apple are in reality just “Used” repaired machines and not truly refurbished.

I'd rather spend the money for new. Apple doesn't refurb their products in-house. It goes to a variety of third party rework vendors who often underpay and quota their technicians. The whole "Second set of eyes" thing doesn't matter if the eyes aren't well paid or skilled. Obviously for some, the idea of having a warranty for any issues the rework process causes is good enough and power to them. For me, spending a little extra on brand new just makes sense.
