It probably wasn't bought and returned in a few days. Usually apple refurbished replaces the battery so that resets the charge cycle count.
Wow, thanks mate. Can't really trust what we see here and the anywhere else on the internet. It's hell.
Everything is basically new when you buy, except for the internal components. You do get a new battery!
How don’t people know the refurb is only the motherboard. Every other thing is brand new… these aren’t Amazon warehouse trash this is apple.
exactly, he didnt read the Certified Refurbished website from Apple, the whole chassis is new
Loved the video, i never knew u can check how the battery’s been used so thanks for that.
Not all refurbished necessarily means someone used it... Some are just not sold macbooks
yes.. many are just showcased products.. which were just lying around..
You will get a new shell and new battery for refurbished ISO product.
My brand new Macbook Pro 16 inch directly from Apple that was sealed also had a cycle count of 1. I think it is from workers in tut factory testing thr computer for quality control issues. So your Macbook may have not even went through a full cycle with a customer, May have been from the factory
Its standard for a refurbisched product to replace battery. So ye its a new battery with 1 cycle count from testing it.
Every Mac I have bought new over the years has a cycle count of at least 2, usually 4 once 6.. they make sure the batter can run down and charge to full capacity a few times. A small cycle count on a battery is normal like you say.
It’s best just to buy it from the education store as there’s only a $60 difference between buying it new there and the refurbished. Plus you get the 150 dollar gift card. That's what I did last month as there's no verification and you'll benefit from getting 20% off Applecare
Where do you get the gift card
@@ii.andree8082 You got it from Apple but the offer has ended
@@ii.andree8082the offer is up again
For how much did you buy that?
Thx bro
Appreciate the review of the refurbished product bro - I've been contemplating whether I should buy refurb or brand new.
I know there's about a $200-300 CAD difference between new and refurb. Don't get me wrong - its a good discount - but just doesnt seem convincing enough at the Pro 14" level to get used.
I might as well pay that extra $200-300 to get that brand new experience.
HOWEVER - I think at the Macbook AIR level - I think refurb is definitely worth it (IMO)
Hi brother, I'm from India, could you help me get a laptop like this?
10 core and 16 core are not the base spec processors.
@@whatgaca that’s above my pay grade lol, I’ve just ordered a refurbed 14” so I’m on 8 and 14.
