Where can i get a hold of you? I meed some advice if you would please?
I bought my vehicle as a total loss (1995 Lexus LS400) but it seems to run decent with a few problems but it has never cut off on me and always drives, I drive it daily and the only problem was the bumper hit but seems like minimal damage to the headlights, is it worth it to repair the vehicle and try to clean the title?
Where do they retain a right to the automobile?
If an insurance company deems it a total loss and is paying the ACV(actual cash value) for it, they're effectively buying it from the owner. If someone chooses to retain the salvage, they get paid less because they're actually keeping the vehicle(in it's unrepaired condition)
would you recommend waiting to apply for a new car loan until after your car is deemed a total loss, until the lien-holder has received payment from insurance company?
This probably makes sense. Some lenders will approve you for the new loan, but will not let you actually go forward until the first vehicle is paid off.
