    Mike, I agree with your review! My SS is 92 mph Driver, and today was the first day I was able to trial the Air after testing the 2024 Pro Plus and finding it too firm for my liking with less forgiveness than what Nick’s data showed. I HAVE FOUND MY GOLFBALL. The seemingly never ending search has ended! Best way for me to describe the Pro Air is to imagine the current 87 compression ProV1 with a compression of 75 (That’s the compression of the Air). For those who want to feel soft and springy, with very good control, this is Nirvana. I’ll be backing up the truck when the next FreePrint offer is available.

    Greetings Nick, I tried the Vice Pro Air after watching your review. Wow! What a ball! This fits my 88 - 90 mph driver swing speed. I experienced excellent distance and all the checkup I needed on the green. Also, just enough feedback to let me know how well I hit or mishit the ball. Vice balls seem to have better durability than the Snell balls. The Pro Air is now replacing the Snell Prime as my ball of choice.

    I have been using the Vice Pro for some time. In my humble opinion they are THE best ball on the market. I experimented with a few balls, (including the alleged best ball in golf), Snell,Kirkland,Inesis etc, and found the vice pro the most consistent. Cant wait to test their irons.

    So I played this ball today and it’s now in the bag! Also I use a 2024 phantom 5 putter which is blade like for a mallet and it felt great. Provided a click and didn’t feel dead. Hi, Nick. Thanks as always for another thoughtful, thorough review. This is a ball I really like and it looks like Vice is doing a tremendous job with its updates!
    One note: I don't think I saw a mention of forgiveness on this review or the review of the new Drive ball. I know you've said your swing is improving (congrats on that!), but I hope you'll continue to give feedback on forgiveness, as you have in the past. Forgiveness is a major factor in my search for golf balls I like and your channel has been incredibly helpful for that. Your assessment of forgiveness helped me discover the Cut Red, Wilson Zip, regular Q-Star and the ERC. And in the past, you've also helped me steer clear of a few balls like the TruFeel since my swing is still kind of a mess and your review spoke about the TruFeel being a punisher on mis-hits.
    I really like the older Vice Pro Soft and Drive models, and I'm glad those balls are improving, but I'd also like to know how the new balls compare to the older models for forgiveness.
    Thanks again for all you do!

    For me the air launched, true to its name, quite high giving me some extra yards. For almost 3 euro's a piece in Europe this ball is far from cheap, but the greenish ones are amazing and can be found in roughs/woods a little easier, saving some money on lost balls. The feel on the green is great for me, even with a mallet.

    I was checking out their website and in the customization section you can add three different alignment tools. One is like the triple track, but only for a quarter of the ball. One looks like the Taylormade Distance plus, and the third is three arrowheads. It's costs a little more, but it could be worth it if this line is your gamer maybe.

    I got a box of these and have played 2 rounds with them. I am an older golfer who has lost some distance and a lot of swing speed. This is supposed to be for slower swing speeds (I'm around 80 with the driver). I have never had a ball perform so well off the irons and hybrids! 5-7 yards longer than the Titleist AVX that I have been playing. Good feel off the putter. However, the driver was a disaster. Lost 10 - 15 yards on every drive compared to the AVX. What was worse was the dispersion was all over the place. With the AVX I not only hit the ball farther, but I also usually hit about 80% of the fairways. With the Pro Air I hit about 20%. It wasn't due to a bad driving day, but repeated every time I used it. To say I was shocked by the driver performance is an understatement. If I could get it to perform off the driver like the irons and hybrids it would be my exclusive ball. Sadly, these are not going in the bag.

    • @GolfBallAddict
      @GolfBallAddict  27 днів тому

      Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback.
      I'll be completely honest, this sounds like a fitting issue. The AVX is extremely firm, especially for that swing speed. If golf balls aren't hitting the fairway, it's more of a swing issue.
      The reason I also think it could be a driver fitting issue, is because the AVX is designed to launch low. Which with a slow swing speed would be even worse. What I'm almost wondering, is are you hitting the AVX what you are supposed to be hitting every other golf ball. It's actually more common than you think. The AVX could be launching higher than it should be, which would help your numbers whereas most other golf balls will then in turn launch too high.
      Just a suggestion. Honestly I have no idea without seeing data. Thank you so much for watching and sharing your feedback.

    • @JosephGivhan
      @JosephGivhan 27 днів тому

      @@GolfBallAddict Thanks for your reply. As a matter of fact I am hitting the AVX very high. I got fit for a new driver at the first of the year - the Taylormade Qi10 Max - and at that time I was playing Pro V1's. I had previously played Titleist Tour Speed, but had switched when I found out that Titleist had discontinued them in favor of a new revamped AVX. I wanted to hit higher drives, but found the new driver with my swing was hitting them a little too high, so switched to the AVX. Have been pleased with the performance, but was looking to try other "value" urethane balls. Went out yesterday and played 9 holes and hit two drives on each - one AVX and one Pro Air. Same results - AVX reasonably long and straight. Pro Air all over the place. Sounds like I need a ball fitting in the near future. I give Vice high marks, but this one isn't working for me off that one club. Love your channel. Keep up the good work.

      I've done the old snell balls. The new ones will be done as soon as I get through vice.
      The balls that have the most spin around the green for chipping and pitching tend to be the tp5, the Bridgestone xs, and honestly even the brand new vice Pro I just tested. I don't recommend the tp5 usually just because it's so unforgiving.

    Hi Nick, great review! Based on your review of the Snell 3.0, it seems like these 2 balls are pretty comparable with the edge of short game spin to the pro air, and driver distance edge to the Snell 3.0. Any thoughts on which ball you think might have an overall edge between these two, as you describe both balls as ‘soft/er’, but realizing the compresion is higher with the 3.0. Thanks for your thoughts!

    Nick,
    Love your channel but it is getting really confusing. First of all the Chrome tour did not replace the Chrome soft. There is still a new 2024 Chrome soft golf ball. You have to test it to see how it compares to the Chrome tour.
    You also can't really compare the current reviews to last years since you are using a new launch monitor. The Vice tour numbers were sick. I am a senior with a slow swing speed. Do you still think the tour or the soft would be a better ball for me?

    • @GolfBallAddict

      Thank you for the comment. The Chrome tour as of this moment has not replaced the Chrome soft. However I have heard from the Callaway rep that the future plan is for the tour to ultimately replace it. I don't mind still testing the 24 version though
      As for the monitor switch. I tested multiple golf balls side by side with both monitors. The ball speed was within 99 percent accuracy on both. So some of the previous data is definitely still viable.

      I respect your opinion, but the data, performance, price, designs, and reviews disagree

      Love your channel. Big fan. Recommend your content to family and friends. I think I'm that one person that just doesn't jive with vice. I've tried them all. I hit one shot then goes back in the bag. They decorate my golf ball cases. Love the look and colors. Lol
