Wow, that's a lot for only $18 dollars. I know wages are different, but that seems like a good deal. Things are a lot more expensive here in the U.S. Also, the produce looks very fresh where you are. God bless you! I'm glad you were able to get the buns before leaving haha.
Guys please kindly consider this, I’d be glad to see kondrovo through your lense.. I was there in 2014, it was one of good memories I had in Russia.. with love from Indonesia 😘
It is normal that fruits and vegetables are cheaper in Russia because it is a large producing country. It’s like in Australia where kangaroo meat costs nothing.
Was in back of a family of two adults and two small children yesterday at check out and the price was almost five hundred dollars. The wife told me that it was higher than usual because they did not shop the week before. I don't recall seeing any meat. Love the cinnamon buns, he needed four. Got to have two each day.
Your stores are so brightly lit and clean, your shelves so well stocked and your prices seem so low, which is very good for you. Do they sell Sheffield’s food in such a store or must you go to a store for pets? As always, it is a joy to here about how your life in Russia is, even though Alex did not get his cinnamon buns. Thank you, God bless and take care. 😊
I pay $3.69 for 32 oz of kefir at Trader Joes in California. Pasture raised eggs at Trader Joes are $4.99 a dozen. They have lower prices than chain stores like Safeway. Your prices are quite a bit lower but wages are also lower than US.
Fascinating how much cheaper everything is in Russia. The same items would be 30-40% more in US. Almost worth flying over to get groceries haha. I love your content.
In Australia, Queensland tomatoes are $12 kg, and it's not even winter yet, so the price will continue to rise . The cost of living is out of control. 2 years ago, tomatoes were $4 kg
LOVE to watch your shopping for food - VERY MUCH the SAME as us in Mid-USA - these videos HELP show the SAMEness of your people and our people - PEACE to you all ! :-)
Hi guys. I always enjoy your grocery store excursions. Alex, I admire your patience in waiting for your cinnamon buns. If I want some buns or doughnuts I have learned to go early in the morning when they have just been put out on the shelves. If I wait until later in the day they are usually sold out. Have a good week. 😊
I bought a small amount of groceries yesterday in NC, USA. I bought from a discount supermarket in a rural area but paid $101. Prices are too high. It's strange to me to buy 10 eggs. US sells eggs by dozen or half dozen. .
Interesting that your milk is sold in bags and eggs in 10 instead of by the dozen. We pay ,$2. at discount grocery stores for those chocolate bars. So glad Alex got his buns!😊
The eastern parts of Canada also has milk in bags. The western part has plastic jugs and paper cartons. Our eggs are American style, 12 count and refrigerated. Prices on many items here are higher than American.
Your fruits and vegetables are cheaper there than here. Here, in the USA, it is 2-4 times more expensive, depending on where you live. Here, in the midwestern USA, it is about 2 times more in cost, sometimes 3 times. Most of your pieces are very low compared to here, especially the milk and eggs! For a good quality dark chocolate bar of 3 ounces/86 grams, we expect to pay 3 to 5 dollars. Merci german chocolate sells for 5 dollars here. So, 18 dollars for all of that is a good deal.
Feed Alex before you go shopping. Coffee from Colombia is very good! Kipke?? I don't know what that is. I'm glad if you're glad! Strange for me to see a man liking all the nice things. I'm used to be the 'naughty' one. How is your son doing? Is he done at college?
In America, if you fill a shopping cart with typical groceries, it will cost 35,000-45,000 Rubles (about $400 to $500 Dollars). Two 'big' bags of groceries will be 4,500 - 9,000 Rubles (about $50 to $100 Dollars). Of course, it is possible to only buy inexpensive groceries, like rice or beans or pasta. Inexpensive eggs are 60 for 1,100 Rubles (about $12). Milk is 300 Rubles for about 4 liters (a little more than $3 for a gallon).
Эти магазины есть в каждом районе в десяти минутах ходьбы, поэтому я не покупаю продукты на неделю, а имею возможность покупать свежие продукты каждый день. Эти магазины работают каждый день с 8:00 до 23:00
I truly enjoy your videos. Please give Sheffie hugs and kisses from me. Also, we see that the prices are much lower than in the US, but what are salaries like? For example, I’m a secondary math teacher. What would be my salary in your region?????
Love shopping with you and Alex. So happy Alex got his buns! xx
Thank you ❤️ 😊
That was a nice little grocery shop. Thank you, for taking us along. God bless your family. 🌷
Your prices are so low compared to ours here in the United States.

Those apples are a lot cheaper than they are here in iowa, one of the states in the United states.

Funny about the Cinnamon Buns. Our guys and their tummy. Thanks for the smiles.

I must say that was an amazing price for everything you bought! Food is so expensive here in Australia!
It is normal that fruits and vegetables are cheaper in Russia because it is a large producing country. It’s like in Australia where kangaroo meat costs nothing.
Hi Val and Alex🤗! Get ready for the “quarreling”. I hope you get the neighbors fallen branches addressed at the meeting.
Food prices are definitely lower than USA prices.
When it comes to cinnamon buns ~ 10 minutes is worth the wait 🤣🤣🤣🤣💖
Yes😂❤
Especially that they would be warm, fresh, soft...mmmmm......
Was in back of a family of two adults and two small children yesterday at check out and the price was almost five hundred dollars. Your Basket would cost me here in the us about $50 . I bought 2 Kit Kat Dark candie bars and two fried chicken thighs at the deli and it was $10.49.

wow! Good deal, folks!
❤😊
Not such a good deal if one earns 200 bucks per month.

Eventually, you'll notice that there are no Democrats in Russia. Therefore, everyone is happy, and the grocery stores are clean, with low prices.
@@hxhdfjifzirstc894 The universal scourge of liberal democrats does not darken Mother Russia.
Happy Tuesday! Be well you two.
"Alex, you are very picky" .. *Chuckle* Definitely married. :D Love it..wonderful.

I love watching your family and dog. You are nice wholesome people.
It looks like Lidl....
That's what I thought as well.
Yes, in US too, many companies are selling smaller amounts, fewer oz, fewer items in pkg., but price is still higher. Not good.
I pay $3.69 for 32 oz of kefir at Trader Joes in California. Pasture raised eggs at Trader Joes are $4.99 a dozen. They have lower prices than chain stores like Safeway. Your prices are quite a bit lower but wages are also lower than US.
Finally someone realizes that little detail...
Fascinating how much cheaper everything is in Russia. The same items would be 30-40% more in US. Almost worth flying over to get groceries haha. I love your content.
Hope you find something you like in the store enjoy shopping

LOVE to watch your shopping for food - VERY MUCH the SAME as us in Mid-USA - these videos HELP show the SAMEness of your people and our people - PEACE to you all ! :-)
Eggs are cheap in time of Easter. Lots of them are going to be hard boiled and coloured.
I would wait for 10 minutes too for a fresh warm cinnamon bun! Yummy😊

I pay $5.97 for 2 L of lactose free milk in Canada. I just paid $3.97 for the same size dark chocolate bar from Amazon.
I think you went shopping on empty stomachs. Hungry for all the sweets.

Do you know the average wage in Russia when you factor that in , it’s actually very expensive.
So much for Western sanctions hummmm🤔
Cheaper in Russia then Western Canada !
It's not cheap for Russians. Also the quality is not the same, obviously.
