What would you shoot with this lens?🙋🏼♂️
Food. I would use this for food. Trying to justify the expense, since I've been sinking so much into lighting. I notice you're using the BMPCC. The specs for the lens state it's for a full frame sensor; how is it with the crop? I use a BMPCC 6K Pro so wanted to ask. Thanks.
Its amazing in a crop body. This was all done on the bmpcc
I always loved the Probe lens, such a fun piece of gear !!
Aaabsolutely man!
Thanks for sharing all of your elaborate lighting and excitement about the lens. I was really hoping that you would have demonstrated the built-in lighting, even if it's not great, that's a feature of the lens and of interest to those of us who will be using it in the field rather than in the studio. Than, you, I'll be using it for insects :)
I regret not doing that indeed!
@@SjoerdWess You still made a great review! :)
@@FrederickDunn Cheers mate!
What a cool lens - matched by a cool video 🤟
Cheers man 🙏🏻
Thanks a lot man!
Wonderful video. Alphonse Mucha for the win!
Thanks dude! :-)
Beautiful shots mate! 🤌
Thanks a lot!
Great images!
Cheers man
Wow, that last closed up with the watch was amazing. I always wanted to try this with water. A glass water container and adding some milk, cause the milk will create shapes like the clouds and it'll be very nice. I said milk, but it could be some color, like water paint colors etc. Great video my fiend! Thanks
Sounds good man!
Thanks for checking the video :-)
@@SjoerdWess always a journey, man. A good one!
To catch some really cool macro footage! A lil bit creepy but i think a super tight close-up of some bugs in Artis would be amazing!
Amazing piece of glass for that!
Kudos for something different, Sjoerd. Lots of detail in watch, moving mechanism a nice touch. Book page flip out of place, IMO. Don’t recall macro images on your prior posts. Is macro a one-off or a new direction for you?
Getting into tight spaces not accessible w/other macro gear is what this lens is all about - inside insect nests, narrow tubes, beneath water (ponds), inside wall openings (electrical work). Lighting, indeed an issue. Model includes LED lights at front, as I recall. Haven’t tried the lens itself - not enough usage to justify the expense. Solid case, though 😁.
For more on this lens and macro, suggest a look at YT channel “Another Perspective”. (He just posted a vid on the new lens, so I suspect the manufacturer is blitzing the release.)
Thanks a lot Paul! Macro is not necessarily a thing I want to keep on doing. Just every once in a while! Ill have all look! Cheers man!
Cool video! what brand is the slider on the video? Do you have a review of it?
Zeapon Micro 2! Amazing slider
I'd love to use this lens for my bag an edc reviews tbh
Sounds good!
if I had one I would definitely use it (them) for my LEGO stop motion work ...
Sick!!
Awesome , what slider are you using ?
Zeapon Micro 2!
wow what a beautiful certina watch and how beautifully filmed.
Thanks dad!
Would 3 200d lights work to give enough light for this lens, from a budget point of view as 600 watt is expensive
I guess it would. But then non-diffused which isn't the prettiest. I'd always aim for higher tbh. Try to borrow 2 big ones!
@@SjoerdWess thanks 🙏 what do you think minimum should be for watts ?
Id go for a couple 300s. 3. Or 2 600’s!
As a bare minimum. More is better!
@@SjoerdWess thank you for your help! Appreciate it 🙏 thinking of the forza 500 and 300 and 60c
Is it available already??
Not sure yet!
I’d film an ant army 🐜
Oeh lets do that!
