    This video shows the exercises to correct bow legs which is characterised by bow shape of legs whereby there is increase in the gap or distance between the two legs at the knee joint while the ankles and feet touch.
    It is seen in both babies and in adults. It is caused due to various reasons like osteoarthritis of knee, muscular imbalance at the hip, part of normal development in babies and can also occur as normal physiological variation in certain people.
    It is also known as genu varum. Bow legs can lead to various problems in the hips, knees, ankles and the back.
    Exercises shown in the video will help to correct bow legs or genu varum by fixing the muscular imbalance leading to bowing of legs.

      Muscular imbalance can be identified by testing for tight and weak muscles, bone deformity can be confirmed on observation and radiology, however even in case of bony deformity muscular imbalance will exist. 👍🏻

      Ye they do, more so if bow legs are caused by muscular imbalance.
      How long it would take-this entirely depends on severity of the condition and consistency of the patient.
      Yes u can go to gym with bow legs but before going to gym get ur self evaluated with physical therapist and if needed get a lateral arch inserted into ur shoes so the forces are distributed better while performing the exercises👍
