I just got back from 2 weeks in Sicily visiting relatives. We hired a chef an his restaurant for a day. He took us shopping in the street markets in Pelarmo. One thing he said that has stuck in my mind n changed the way I cook. That is add very minimal seasoning to your food. You want to enhance the foods flavor. Not add so much seasoning that it drowns out the natural food. If you wanna eat seasoning just eat seasoning. 😋
There are countries who’s food also tastes very bland. If that’s what one likes, that’s also perfectly fine. I like diversity and like to try it all. I’m also glad seasoning exist to create delicious food and enhance the flavor. Thanks for watching!
Exactly. Rose has to use this much seasoning cause the meat she's buying is low quality and has been frozen before. You wouldn't do this to a fresh steak off the market. A little salt and pepper is all you need 😋
@@foreverskrillex Interestingly, I started doing my own research. So now every time I visit a steakhouse, I ask the chef if they use their own seasoning or just salt and pepper. I will be posting once I collect from everyone. I can tell you the last one I ate which was close to $50 for just my steak, said they use an 18 spice blend.
I love cooking with Airfryer. Your recipe looks delicious. I like my steak alittle less cooked So I will fry alittle less time. Thank you Tracey from Austin Texas

As “cheesy” as using an air fryer to cook steak is… it’s actually a really easy way to make a great steak! Some nights when it’s cold or yucky weather I do this because it’s so easy lol
I air fry my ribeye steak frozen. I rinse it off and all I add is salt, pepper, garlic and spray canola all over it. I then put in my Ninja airfyer frozen solid and set the temperature at 300 for 25-30 mins on one side. When I say juicy, tender, medium and season to perfection....fagetabouid.
Thanks, Matt! I have done it without as well. You can do it with or without but I recommend you also try it with it as well. I appreciate you watching!
Most of my friends and me included, never use any kind of "steak sauce" on our meats. We want to taste the meat. Simply, salt and pepper would be enough. I have used the "Montreal Steak" seasoning, but I don't drowned the meat. Remember, you are cooking a really nice piece of meat, and you need to be able to taste it.
Welcome, Don! I have another steak video with just your basics on my channel. However, I do like to try different things and this is one I love. Thanks for watching!
When I tried steaks in my air fryer, I couldn’t believe how good they were, with salt and pepper! Some of us have health problems because of too much salt. They were moist & chewy, and delicious!
You can always do it with just the spices then closer to the end, brush a little bit of A1 on each side. I also like to marinade them with honey teriyaki when grilling and they come out great. 😊
I was completely skeptical of this but figured I’m gonna eat the steak regardless and they turned out PERFECT! Wow the air fryer truly is amazing lol. Thank you! (Fyi I only did 2nd side for 6 min and it was a perfect medium all the was through)
I made this but I didn't salt and pepper the steaks prior to covering them with A1 and they came out great. As Montreal Seasoning's prime ingredients are salt and pepper I thought it would be over salted if I added more NaCl. Granted "over salted" is a relative term but that's my two cents. Thanks for posting this video.

You inspired me to try something new in my air fryer. I made “fried chicken” using chicken breasts. Turned out good. I still want to try your salmon recipe and now this steak! I would also love to know how you are cleaning your air fryer? Maybe future tutorial??🙏😍
It warms my heart to know I can inspire someone. You should definitely try some of the other recipes. I love steak so this is definitely a fav of mine. I hope you enjoy it, too. To clean, I usually use dawn, hot water and a sponge. For stubborn food, I let it soak in hot water for a while then wash. I will definitely keep a cleaning video in mind. Thanks for continued support! I appreciate you! 😊
@@RoseOatley you definitely inspire! That’s how I’ve been cleaning mine and sometimes I put it in the dishwasher. I appreciate you too Rose!

I bought an air fryer a few months ago but have been hesitant to use it on something like a ribeye. Definitely going to try this tomorrow. It looks awesome. I just subscribed for more great recipes.
Awesome! I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how much you can do with your air fryer. Enjoy your steak and thanks for subscribing! 😊
Thank you! Saves all the mess on the cooker. Gas torch would have been great touch after air fryer.
I have been wanting to cook steak for a good while but was afraid it would be a fail like my first and only other try many years ago! I am so proud of what I cooked! Best homemade steak ever! 🤤👌🏼Cooked medium-rare, Taste exactly like the ones I order at restaurants.
@@RoseOatley thank you for all you do. Love your channel.
I like my steak alittle less cooked
So I will fry alittle less time.
Thank you Tracey from Austin Texas
Thanks, Tracey! You’re not far from me. I’m in San Antonio. 😊.
Since every air fryer varies, it’s also always a good idea to also use a thermometer to get it to your preferred doneness. Thanks for watching! Enjoy!
You convinced me. Gonna try steaks in my air fryer!! I like to take my steaks out and unwrap and spice them up a couple of hours ahead of time. I’m not a big fan of A1 but the Montreal seasoning is great!! Thank you for sharing.
You’re welcome! Hope you enjoy it. Thanks for watching!
Rose Oatley I did it!! I had a skirt steak I marinated and did “carne asada”. My son...who’s a good cook, (but doesn’t have an air fryer), was disapproving...Until he put it in his mouth!!! Was REALLY delicious. Thank you!!!

you can't beat a steak in the air fryer, this is so much better than the grill!
How was the clean up? Every time I use marinade and then cook on Teflon, the marinade sticks.
Hi Rich! I usually add hot water and dawn right after and let my basket soak in the sink while I eat. I’m going to have to make a video sometime on how to clean them after. Especially when we forget to pull the basket out. Thanks for watching!
Thank you lady, this seems very doable for someone with little time for cooking.

This is one of the juiciest cooking tutorials I've seen. I've been dead set against getting an air fryer but then I seen someone cook pizza in one. Then I decided to look up how to cook steak in one. I like my steak medium or medium rare but a lot of my family likes it well done. You made well look so delicious. Also, I've never seen A1 sauce put on the steak prior to cooking. I'm def gonna try that. Anyway, thanks for this video. Quick question: is the butter you used salted or unsalted?
Thank you, Alexis! I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with how much you can do with an air fryer. The butter is unsalted. With all the seasoning, I tend to use unsalted butter for more control. Thanks for watching and taking time to comment.
@@RoseOatley And thank you for replying and answering my question. I'm definitely gonna try this recipe.

As “cheesy” as using an air fryer to cook steak is… it’s actually a really easy way to make a great steak! Some nights when it’s cold or yucky weather I do this because it’s so easy lol

Best air fryer steak recipe ever!!!
Thanks, Alan! Glad you enjoyed it.
This is going to be the first thing I make in my Air Fryer!!!!
I’m glad to hear. I also have a playlist with more air fryer recipes. Be sure to check those out as well. Thanks for watching!
Looks amazing. I would personally skip the A-1 because I think it over powers the flavor of the steak.

Right, Don but the Montreal seasoning has too much hot pepper for us.
Thank you.. i just finished cooking my steak.. letting it rest rite now.. I'll get back to you...
I wonder if I use my counter top grill or pan if the steaks will burn with the A1 sauce?
You can always do it with just the spices then closer to the end, brush a little bit of A1 on each side. I also like to marinade them with honey teriyaki when grilling and they come out great. 😊

I was completely skeptical of this but figured I’m gonna eat the steak regardless and they turned out PERFECT! Wow the air fryer truly is amazing lol. Thank you! (Fyi I only did 2nd side for 6 min and it was a perfect medium all the was through)
Glad to hear you gave them a try and enjoyed them. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for giving it a try! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
