Welcome to one of the most fun episodes of Season 1! The show kicks off with Tommy Tallarico and Victor Lucas visiting with Atari founder, Nolan Bushnell, as well as veterans at the company (and game industry legends), Jerry Jessop, Don Thomas, Dan Van Elderen, Mark Pierce and Larry Kaplan!
After the break, Victor heads to Boss Game Studios and catches up with tech director, Rob Povey, lead artist, Brian Johnson and artist, Gabe Garcia, to talk about the terrific Top Gear Rally and to get a sneak peek at Twisted Edge Snowboarding.
When we return from break Tommy visits with Naughty Dog to get a look at the process of creating Crash Bandicoot 2, with reflections on the incredible success the character's debut title meant for the company. We chat with founders, Jason Rubin and Andy Gavin and meet up with Dave Bagget, Rob Titus, Greg Omi and Erick Pangilinan.
Heat.Net's The Reverend kicks us off into the next act of the show with an answer to the question, "How is Quake different on Heat?"
Activision's Larry Kaplan tells us where the computer term, "Bug" came from.
And in Reviews on the Run we look at:
Nuclear Strike on PlayStation
Steel Reign on PlayStation
and Mace: The Dark Age on Nintendo 64

Pure joy, man. Enjoy the weekend gamers!
Love the classic episodes brings me back! I enjoy my cup of tea watching these. Thanks Vic!
Now it feels like Saturday .
love watching these on the weekends. give me pure nostalgia.
What an excellent little piece on Atari to start the show. Glad they gave that segment a fairly long run time.
"the person you know is gaming and just reached disc 2 of final fantasy 7. Please hang up ." Ha, classic. That was fun to watch again.
Seeing all those Cathode Ray Tubes everywhere was sorta creepy, like David Cronnenbergs Videodrome creepy, but I loved it.
Keep em’ coming Victor! 🏆🥇
so glad to see these again. Grew up with you guys on tv Saturday (or was it Sunday?) mornings. I’d watch you guys then have to go do my homework ahahah
I cannot get enough of Tommy Tallarico, and this is coming from someone who discovered who he is through Hbomberguy's video lmao. He's a riot
Thank you for bringing these back!!!
I keep missing the premiere but I am so glad they are coming back. When vic first posted old episodes I would leave them running in the background as I worked. I am enjoying the week by week release of the old episodes and it will be awesome when they are all out.
Holy cow, that M2 technology looked like PS2 or later! No joke! Amazing demo.
Man this took me back.
Nice, never watched this episode. Good to see Nolan.
Love that Tommy Hilfiger sweater that Tommy is wearing
You know Tommy got it because it had his name on it. 😂
5:05 he looks like Jim, from the office, dad
Such classic stuff! Thank you again!
Tommy, come on... 'Mace' had the best 3D backgrounds?! I remember it being crappy when it debuted!
So rad!
Crash 2 is the first game I ever bought with my own money.
Wonderful!!
I don't know, Vic. I thought Crash was a strong 10/10 in its time.
WazzzzzzUp!!!
Lucas ftw
Plumber boy!
