Taking a guess, but...if you want to try some metal, listen to some Bloodywood. Then move on to northern European bands like Nightwish and American ones like Metallica.

No, this is rock´n´roll. As Angus told us so often.... listen to Ride on... blues as blues could be. ACDC are blues rocker with rock´n´roll.

Not too shabby for a bunch of old dudes!!!!! AC/DC played 3 straight nights at River Plate in Dec 2009 to a total of 220,000+ ppl so says their official web site so that’s 73,000+ a night!!!!! Brian Johnson the lead singer was 63, Angus Young the lead guitarist was 54 and the rest of the boys were in their 50’s!!! Legendary is all I can say. These Argentina fans are the best on the planet and they appreciate good hard driving rock and roll. Just look at all the different ages in the crowd. It transcends generations. Unbelievable!! So says Austin Tx!!!! 🎸😎🍸

It would be the same for you at that age, you had very little time or interest in 'the older stuff" to the point where you 'knew' their songs or history, it's just general background noise until you take a deep dive.

I had the honor of working this tour,, there was 200,000 ppl, 60,000 on the floor alone,, most of the stops were 150,000 to 200,000 per show,, mostly "Football Stadiums" all across Europe. all the crowds were like theis... Go to the start of this concert.. Runaway Train" 1st song sets the pace,, also "Hell aint a bad place to be... the 1st 2 songs set the tone for the whole concert. It's like they said,, when you love what you do ,, it never gets old.

so River plate where they're at performing apparently has a seismograph Center just right out of town, and this performance if I'm not mistaken has over 70,000 people at at the concert and they literally were so jazzed up and made so much noise that they set off the seismograph counter for the earthquake Center out of town there

i love it, if kids who never listened to real music get it full in their face. The greatest sound of the best rock band existing on this planet. And then it is river plate, basically the best concert you could look for.
If i may suggest one thing. Go listenting for the whole concert.
After that, you search for "ACDC life Bon scott, full concert" and you suddenly realise WHAT real rock music is.
River plate is the place for all great bands. They get the best crowd that exist. Here you have the very best of the best. Greatest crowed meets the best band on the planet - esp. if you want live music. Not even Wacken can hold the water.
If you look for the best ACDC-songs... look for The Jack live, Sin City, Ride On, She got Balls, Jail Break, Whole lotta rosie :D all with Bon Scott.

Your enthusiasm is great..small doses during the song. Trust yourself. People will listen to your longer, in detail, reaction after the song is done. Peace

Metal is more about beat, than lyrics I would say. Interesting to hear someone that young react to the kind of music I grew up with. The list of music you need to listen to is looong. You got Elvis, Beatles, and Queen so far. Not Bad. Unfortunally Thunderstruck is not the best AC/DC song by far. Try "Rock`n Roll Train" from the same concert, and the newer "Shot in the Dark"... Leaving you with 2 tips: Status Quo: ua-cam.com/video/nAWvkfDN6No/v-deo.html And Motley Crue: ua-cam.com/video/9OdtYQolSlQ/v-deo.html Enjoy
