An AC/DC concert from Buenos Aires in December 2009 when nearly 200,000 fans, over 3 sold-out nights, thunderously welcomed them back after a 13-year absence from Argentina.
Today singer is 73 Bassist is 71 Angus is 68 Drummer is 68 and steve young( replaced malcom) is 66. Malcolm played this show hes 2 years older than angus. This show is 12 years ago.
Hell yeah Lets rock out...please do Let There Be Rock at River Plate...Angus puts on a hell of a show with killer solos at the end of that runway. Thanks for this one.
They played 3 straight nights at River Plate in Dec 2009 to a total of 220,000+ ppl so that’s 73,000+ a night!!!!! Brian Johnson was 63, Angus Young was 55 and the rest of the boys were in their 50’s!!! Legendary is all I can say. These Argentina fans are the best on the planet and they appreciate good hard driving rock and roll. Just look at all the different ages in the crowd. It transcends generations. Unbelievable!!🤣🤣🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸😍😍😍🥳🥳😎😎
@@lisalotwin3154 I wasn’t trying to insinuate that AC/DC’s dicks were bigger than anyone else’s. BizMatik was asking how big was THIS crowd in Argentina in 2009. Not Moscow and some other band in another time / since obviously this concert was not played in Moscow. I’m not sure exactly what you don’t understand. 🤣🤣🤣🤔😎
@@ssmith5786 really. Ok, well the FIVE exclamation marks said to me that this was a record breaking size crowd. If you know all their Dick sizes, well good for you. 🍻
@@lisalotwin3154 Hahahaha!!!!!!! I’m very old so I use emojis and !!!!!!!! Very liberally!!!!!!! It’s what we 60+ year old geezer people do!!!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 You must not have grandparents!!!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🍸 My first ac/dc concert was in 1973 in San Antonio Tx at municipal auditorium when I was 13 on their first US tour. We oldies don’t hold to typing etiquetts that younger folks do!!!!! My grandkids say the same as you about my typing etiquette but I come from a different place in time. I’m sorry you were offended. 🎸
My husband's favorite band, it's all he ever listened to. Saw them in concert with Bon Scott and Brian Johnson. He rolled up on his job one morning at 6am with AC/DC blasting and his boss shook his head and said, boy you ain't right! 🤣
They've been rocking since 1973/74. They're all in their 70's now and STILL going.... Just released an new album in November 2020!! Check out "The Jack" at River Plate, Angus kills it! You might wanna google the "jack" beforehand so u know what "it" is before hearing the song. Also, a must is "You Shook Me All Night Long"... it came out in my Sophomore year of high school('86)... Good times!!! Peace....
They are just electric!!!! “Shook me all night long” is a good one as well. “Shoot to thrill” from Iron Man well anything really. Long list to choose from.
I first heard thunder stuck and I thought...WOW..amazing song. It became my favorite. Lots of songs by them are mostly second. Thunderstruck gets me moving. I can’t stop myself from dancing.
I’ll tell you what BizMan I haven’t seen you do “For Those About To Rock We Salute You” yet form River Plate so as an OG+++ from the beginning I beg you to do it!!!!!! Just a crazy fan asking AND if obvious you haven’t seen it already hombre!!!!! So says Austin Tx!!!!! 😎🍸🍸🍸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
I seen them live in '88. This was the loudest concert I've been to. I wish I could 've seen them live with Bon Scott RIP. Brian Johnson is great don't get me wrong, but you have to check out Bon Scott. Highway to Hell, T.N.T., Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap to start. He had an iconic voice. He passed away in 1980. Brian Johnson then joined the band. They are great in concert.
My good man I am so glad you have discovered my favourite band. I can see the passion in your eyes. If you live in LA endeavour to see them live when they play in October. I have been lucky to see them 14 times. If you have not seen it yet look up the movie they made Let There be Rock in 1979 during the Highway to hell tour it kills. Bon Scott and the band are on fire. Angus is only a boy at 24. Your new friend from AUstralia. Dean
AC/DC played in Toronto at Sars Fest (a benefit concert to help victims of SARS virus). People showed up from everywhere and they were not there to see the Rolling Stones. They were there to see AC/DC.
They are all great songs - they were big here in Australia when I was a teenager in the late 70's - Them and Cold Chisel - both great - God showing my age
Yo Biz, Riff Raff from their Powerade LP will get your blood pumping! One of my all time favorite AC/DC riffs. You will quickly add this one to your playlist! It’s a banger!
I went to see them in Johnson City, Tn at Freedom Hall in I think 1989 or 1990. They had CANNONS!!!! When the cannons fired, it cracked the foundation of the building!!! They were banned and have never been allowed to perform there again.
Let There be Rock ( live at the Apollo ). Has Bon Scott as the lead singer. Then try Shoot to Thrill ( Ironman 2 version ). I went to two shows in Calgary. There were about 60,000 or 70,000 people at each show.
Here you are already struck by the AC/DC sickness - the need to sing along, do some headbanging and playing imaginary instruments. For those about to rock - I salute you! 😃😃😃
I had tickets in Arizona at the Compton Terrace with the Scorpions opening in i think 1983 or 1984. Was newly married and my ex-wife didn't want me to go and we argued for 4 weeks. I sold my ticket without telling her. The night of the concert she goes ...arent you going to the concert. I told I sold it out of respect for her. Her reply was...you didn't have to do that. Talk about being pissed and her not acknowledging my giving it up to be home with her. Life!
EVERYBODY loves Angus!!!!....how coud ya not?...I mean, seriously?!??!...."Thunderstruck is my fave Brian song, and "It's a Long Way to the Top" for Bon.....all about the bagpipes!!!
Hey Mr. BizMatik my brotha, You need to check out a band called BUDGIE. Another three man band from the 70's that bring it everytime. React to a song called, "Breaking All The House Rules", studio version. I PROMISE, you are going to like them!!! C'MON MAN!!! Do it my brotha!!!!
How big did they get... lol. Look up their sales on Back in Black - 2nd highest selling album all time behind Thriller. Sorta big. And the albums that preceeded Back in Black were all bangers all the way through. How big? Big.
could you please react to "Thats the way i wanna rock and roll" by ACDC? nobody else on youtube has reacted to it i dont think and its one of my favourites!

220,000 is just cute when you compare it to Metallica 1.6 million in Moscow 1991. Yeah, 1.6 million in 1991. In one single show . Look it up.

When that single B chord gets struck and the drums kick in, man how do you not want to jump around like crazy. AC⚡DC friggin rule 🤟

The crowd reminded me of an Argentinian or South American Football crowd supporting River Plate and other teams :)
Let There Be Rock this concert. Or if you want a serious song of theirs, Ride On
Ride on...wow! Amazing slow song. I dig that 1
Angus solo is insane on Let there be rock

That's a seriously large crowd! But what do you expect? It's AC/DC. 🔥🔥🎸🎸
I think it's dope because it's soo hooky/catchy and, Angus' brother Malcolm had that rock steady rhythm guitar

Biggest crowd ever Metallica in Moscow Russia doing "Enter Sandman" an unbelievable live performance.
There is another version of Thunderstruck that is shocking to listen to. The official video by 2cellos.
There were so many people here, they did 3 sold out shows in less than a week.
Check out Highway to Hell live! Their second biggest song after Back in Black

Does anyone know the video where they played at a college when they were young? I had seen it on UA-cam. Not sure what the video is called.
Try High Voltage live at Donnington 1991

If you think that crowd is huge check out Metallica enter sandman live from Moscow !!!!!!!!
That day Metallica was actually an opening band for... AC/DC. The crowd was there for Angus. AC/DC brought down Communism with that show.

That was 2009. Angus Young was 54
The worlds largest mosh pit.
