her workouts actually are very effective, and not in a way where you need to sweat buckets and collapse from exhaustion- its the consistency that matters. Even just walking for 20 minutes is better than nothing. I’ve lost 25 lbs (been about 3-4 months of every day workout, and weight lifting for muscle strength), which is about 6 lbs/month (by only doing jo’s workouts.) Guys remember that motivation does not come as the first feeling. Motivation only appears when you’ve seen what you’ve accomplished. Which is what sucks about working out because you have to see results to want to keep doing it. Worth it though for sure and I wouldn’t want to have it any other way.
Thank you so much for adding the second part- I think many put it off due to lack of motivation and it just gets worse. Do it FOR the motivation, not because of the motivation!

hello! so i am around 13 and i weigh 56kg and 5’3, i will be honest i am fat. my double chin is out and my belly is always so loose, this has taken a HUGE effect on my physical activity and my overall strength. i want to know what i should do to lose weight! i want to wear clothes i get scared of wearing!! i don’t want to hear something like “your perfect just the way you are” i want the truth. pls help me on this matter! ♥️
Hey bb! 👋 First off, double chins for the wiiiiiiiin! They're genetic and not usually related to weight distribution. There are things you can do to change the appearance of a double chin (such as posture or learning how to pose for photos) but it doesn't go away. At 13, you're still in prepubescent mode, meaning you're at the right place to build healthy habits, but understanding your hormones and how they change your body composition, self esteem, and general outlook on life is important. Without getting to complicated, I'll just say consistency is key, no matter how you feel on that day. Movement, of any kind, eating a balanced meal, and surrounding yourself with people who love you are all small things that add up over time to MA more of an impact than an extreme 30day workout. A size 16 looks different on well muscled woman than it does an overweight woman, both wear the 16, both have similar weights- but one has consistently made healthy choices to strengthen her body. It's not a get slim quick scheme (and if anybody says it's as easy as taking a supplement, doing a single exercise for 3wks, or doing an extreme diet- RUN). A healthy weight and positive self esteem are a side effect of every day choices. I don't miss being a teen! I have nothing but respect for the rollercoaster yall deal with these days. May God bless you with confidence and comfort! ❤
Her workouts are no joke !!!! I come from the weight lifting side (still love weightlifting) so you guys know that we HATE cardio but lawddddd I did one of her workouts thinking hmm walking how hard can that be ???? Nope GWJ is not for the weak! 😭😭😭 I did the 800 cal burn one once and I almost died ! I must say I have been doing the 30 day 5% burn or something like that consistently for 2 weeks now and I feel a huge boost in my endurance and stamina !
Don't apologise for your english, bae, it's good. I think she did in a row. I personally work out for 2 hours a day 6 days a week. Rest days are important
i do workout every day (Mon-Fri for 25 minutes because well; school sucks my life force out), and on weekends 2 times a day (25x2). Also kept track of my calories. I’ve lost about 25 lbs and it’s about 4-3 months now. Hope this helps a bit, but ofc different people may have different results, staying consistent is key.
Great job 👏 🎉. How many days did you work out and how long for? I would like to start with 30 minutes 3 times a week (and Zumba for 60 minutes on Sunday). Do you think is enough to reach some visible results in two months? Thanks 🙏
I think if you also start being in a caloric deficit, you can definitely get results. I lost 10 kilos in 6 months, working out 3-4 times a week with growwithjo and eating healthy, in a caloric deficit (1600 calories, might differ from you based on your age / weight / goal) and prioritizing protein in my meals. To track my food, I used the free version of myfitnesspal. Good luck, you can totally do it 😊.

A calorie deficit would help so much with this! You can eat generally what you want as long as it’s smaller portions. A good meal plan with these exercises would be awesome.
