- In today's Episode of Let's Play Fate/Stay Night: Heaven's Feel we finally learn the dark truth about rider and Sakura. Rider is revealed to be Medusa and sakura's secrets are finally revealed. The madness that has overtaken shinji is put into effect and a dangerous situation arises.

Those eyes are the eyes Rin had in the dream H-scene.
You might not remember it, but on a very first day of game (before routes start diverging), Shirou notice strange bruise on Sakura's hand, but he thinks that Shinji hit her even though Sakura says it's not true. On the second day Shirou gets similar bruise on his hand, where later he gets a Command Spell.

Medusa was a woman so beautiful that the gods were envious and turned her into a monster. Who does that remind you of?!
And if you have seen the movie Clash of the Titans, you would know that Pegasus was born from Medusa's blood and Bellerophon was the hero who tamed and rode Pegasus.
There's also a lot of other Greek servants in Fate, including her sisters Euryale and Stheno! I can't wait for you to read Hollow Attaraxia where you will get even more Medusa.
Shirou ends all cooperation with Rin after realizing she changed her hair ribbon.
"Im sorry Rin, I know we could accomplish a lot together but it just really freaks me out how you dont use the same hair ribbon you did when you were four anymore. Its a perfectly good hair ribbon and im just not comfortable associating with a girl who would disown it. Being Shirou Emiya means careing about the little things in life."
Ironically Rin in Rin fation still keeps the ribbon in secret

37:15 well i can understant your nervousness after all Heavens feel has the largest number of bad endings (also the most interesting one) and they much easier to get since Shirou now is not all healing superman and can die pretty easy

honestly with everything in fate shinji is my favorite worst character.

Bellerophon was the name of the demi-god (son of Poseidon) that tamed Pegasus. Did you know that Medusa is Pegasus' mother? Not in the usual sexual reproductive way, but her blood "spawned" him when she was killed. Also, Medusa was a beautiful woman till Poseidon raped her in Athena's temple. Then to punish Medusa (for being raped, I guess), Athena cursed her and transformed her into a monster.
Early in the route, Sakura got sad when she saw the "welt" on Shirou's arm. In the other routes, we learned that this welt is your command spells coming in. So Sakura suspected Shirou was going to be a Master. That's why she was so down and was a hint that she knew about the Holy Grail War.
well, that is true and they is later legend with Perseus, but Gorgon sisters in myth also existed before that and were shown as monsters from the beggining. Nasu made his own interesting mix of that 2 variants.

@@Twiska idk about medusa herself, but her sisters were always said to be immortal, this making her being regular human doubtful
So, while this does not track completely with the Type Moon version of Medusa's story since she got Pegasus as a gift in this version, one of the popular theories for why she wears a choker is as a nod to her original lore, where Pegasus was born from her blood after she was decapitated. You will notice in the Fate Route that when she first summons Pegasus to escape Saber in the school hallway she does so by silting her own throat, Pegasus making his first appearance moments later from a magic circle drawn with her blood.
It gets into more literal reasons for her wearing the choker in Hollow Attaraxia, but that's all fun I don't want to spoil for you.
I dont remember Nasu Medusa lore in detail, but maybe.this design choice be connected with that like manifestation of the legend. Plus its a reflection of Medusa true natures and the thing with controlling Pegasus.
