- Hello everybody! Today we continue our let's play of Fate/Hollow Ataraxia! In this episode the confusion of the story becomes truly apparent as mysteries start building and building. Just who are the edelfelts. Why is everyone alive and happy? What the heck is going on with Bazzett and who I presume to be Angra? I guess we'll just have to keep going to find out!

Being confused at this stage is part of the initiation rite hope 😂 also a tip, always search for "new" events before "exclamation points". Trust me, it's the best experience.
Also quick trivia, nasu has said that he wrote that initial saber good morning scene in the vein of a hypothetical what if scenario of "the morning after".
That is to say, he wrote that scene similar to how such a morning would play out the morning after the 5th war ended and saber was able to stay, which hits hard due to the end of fate route 😭
honestly that's a perfect summation of the feelings I felt seeing that. Nasu knew what he was doing to invoke such strong feelings.

I think exhausting all the "NEW" options before picking the plot advancing ones marked with "!" is how you play HA without missing anything. Some scenes are available only during certain days or times of day, but you probably won't miss them as long as you don't advance the plot too quickly.
Pretty excited for the "challenging" choice in Extra.
I can't wait for Hope to read Matou Residents.

Gameplay tips for HA. NEW scenes are just that, but ! Scenes are main plot or flags. Just keep playing and you'll see how it works out. It is possible to miss scenes, so generally prioritize new over ! But it's not that big of a deal, as you can watch anything you missed in a menu at the end.

The grail wasn't actually destroyed in Fate and UBW, Saber only destroys the lesser grail, just like she did in Zero. The cool thing is that in timelines where the greater grail isn't destroyed eventually leads to the dismantlement war, a special grail war that happens when Waver and Rin go back to Fuyuki to take it down. We only know this because of lore, but I'm really REALLY hoping that the Waver spin off series ends with it, which from what I know from the sequel series...it actually might.

Persimmons are delicious! If you eat them ripe they are extremely sweet and have a soft yet chewy texture
You gotta be careful not to eat them too early though, or they'll have a bitter aftertaste kinda like banana skin flavor (though I hear putting them in the freezer gets rid of the bitterness)

Fun fact! P5 had an estimated release date of Winter 2014! Then got delayed to like Summer 2015 or something before getting another delay and settling on September 2016.

all missed choices are added to the Extra menu in the Scene submenu a bit later on so feel free to chose any scene you want, no need to bother with "New" over "!" (exclamation mark) scenes, thats just old logic from the early playtesting days of the eng patch

And back then, FSN wasn't even Realta Nua version which had no voice acting, no last episode Shirou and Saber meet each other, and half-finished HF. Her last vivid image was sad farewell in Fate and her death in HF. And you see this, her greeting. After seeing her happy smile, the confusing part didn't matter to me anymore lol
