    Thank you so much for putting up this video! I just received my Westcott Designs 4Runner TRD Pro lift kit for my 2021. This is the only video that addresses the different spring pre-load collar after the 2020 model and how to install it. I’m more than confident now installing this at home! I think I’m going to be getting the SPC UCA’s as well after hearing your explanation on why I need them. Thanks again!

    Awesome video content. You guys do amazing work while taking care of the customers vehicle. One stop shop for 4Runner builds. Subbed.

    Did you have to do a differential drop with the build ? If not. Do you recommend it ?

      @nolimitbaltimore  Рік тому

      We did not do it, you can’t keep the factory TRD Skid-plate if you drop the differential. If you do anything over 3 inches definitely recommend it!

    I really thought you had to do some slight work in the wheel wells to install 285’s with the Westcott kit.

      TRD pros already have the cut front bumper plastic that would be required normally on the other 4Runner models if that’s what you mean. We didn’t have to make any modification. On other trucks with 1.25” spacers on the factory wheels and 285s we have had them rub.

    Looks soooo damn good. Just emailed them about installing those headlights and fog lifhts and raptor grill lights and some questions about bilstein 5100 suspension upgrade. Seeing this video with the morimoto amber headlights with the grill lights gets me excited cause it looks so good

    Wow. That looks fantastic. May have to trade off the Tundra and go old school.

    I thought the TRD Pros came with TRD red uca's

      Nope, it’s an option with a factory Toyota lift kit only on the Taco TRD Pro for 2022, which can be used for any TRD Pro Taco but does not work w the 4Runner. 👎🏽

    Interesting. So no body mount chop on the 2022 TRD Pro? Just the Wescott Spacer and UCA?

      Yes, that's all that is needed unless running more tire or more wheel offset

    Doesn't make. Any sense to me to purchase a trd pro which is essentially ready to go to modify the suspension system why not just buy a basic model SR5.

      We kept the stock suspension for this reason. Thanks for watching!

      If anything you would use the trd offroad for the offroad electronics. Even then its not a trd pro..resale and rarity will always be better.

      SR5 is missing a whole lot of off road features. As another poster said a TRD Off-road is a better option. If it’s a wilderness beater then sure, mod it to mud it. But if it’s a family vehicle that you’ll off road occasionally on adventures the Pro is the winner, no rebuilding shocks, factory warranty, pretty much a limited interior, rarity and resale.

    People who do this are either dumb or have too much money or both lol. Why would you buy a TRD Pro to swap out the parts that literally make the truck?

      because its still a trd pro lol better resale still at the end of the day and maybe they wanted the special color of that year
