Late watching this video and although it's been 6 years since I've been in Utah, I hope to be back there one day soon with my built out 4Runner...I want to thank you guys as well as all the other wonderful people in the off-road and overlanding community that helped clean up that trailside trash.
We had the same exact problem in Colorado in the 90's. We had a spot we would go shoot. Eventually people brought TVs ( I get that one ) cars anything they could shoot and leave it there. They shut it all down.
Spends $60+ thousand for a TRD Pro for the upgraded wheels and suspension…after 100 miles “we still need to upgrade the wheels and suspension”. Spoken like a true Pro owner
I found a relatively great deal on an inferno orange pro before the pandemic. Put a lift, a better suspension and a supercharger on it immediately lol.
The new 4runner trd with a stubby bumper, skid plates, rock sliders and prinsu racks. Standard shocks, wheels and tyres. It is already better than Ineos Grenadier.
Will you guys be selling the Green Machine? I’m about to pull the trigger on the same vehicle, and was planning on contacting you guys for upgrades, similar to the plans you mentioned on the Green Machine!
really nice to see all the 4runner's together, and good for you guy's in cleaning up somebody's else's mess. there are alot of pig's out there that have no respect.
Pretty lame people can be such dirt bags, but pretty awesome you guys put in the work to clean up, definitely gonna be picking up some of your gear for my truck 👍🏻
I am just disgusted at the fact people go and dump their garbage like that. Seeing that when you’re out in the wilderness whatever type it may be is sad. Great job on the cleanup! Nice to see people actually care about the areas they visit.
Speaking of racks, on a side note, I ordered a rack for my 80 Land Cruiser March 27. How long does it usually take to ship? Haven't heard a peep about it. thanks!
Racks have been shipping for the most part within 48 hours. Please contact our customer service team as it seems something isn’t right if that is the case.
You’re probably new to this stuff so I’ll enlighten you… the 4Runner is a body on frame SUV. The steel bumper is hard mounted to the frame. The body is mounted to the frame using flexible bushings to reduce vibration from the frame into the body (cabin). As the vehicle goes over rough terrain the body moves slightly independently of the frame to improve comfort and reduce harshness. That’s why it looks like the bumper is moving, when it is actually the body moving on the frame.
Oh that is such a tough question! Honestly it depends on the trail and the gear we take. The 4runner is nice when you have passengers because the rear seat is bigger and they are more comfortable on the trail. I like it better when we are in inclement weather as well to keep all the gear inside. On the flip side the truck is great because it has the outside bed area for gear. I like running bed bars to keep the tent weight low too. They are both great in their own way.
Notice there are no Bureau of Land Management or Forest Services personnel helping? Too busy running around in their RAM 3500s and Razor turbo SxS I guess. Honestly, these places would be much cleaner if they actually wrote tickets for littering (you know like what they should be doing while on the clock).
Haha! We get it! The reality is that our business gives us the opportunity to purchase a TRD Pro and compare it with really great aftermarket options when it comes to suspensions. The TRD Pro suspension is actually really impressive and there are some lift options that people can use with the TRD Pro Fox suspension to get more ground clearance so I wouldn't say it is a bad thing to lift a TRD Pro. That being said I totally get where you are coming from... If you plan to put aftermarket suspension on your 4runner then go with a cheaper version and spend the money on the suspension or other components you want to add.
We thought the same thing. It actually took them more time and effort to dump their trash in that location than it would have to take it to the city’s transfer station.
That's super suck that these losers dump garbage on the public lands. Overwhelmingly this is not done from regular users of the land it's the squatters, the locals throwing their garbage and "homeless" in a lot of instances. You guys, and a bunch of other groups do a great job cleaning but one thing also they has to be done is the people that manage the land have to be contacted so that 1. the public lands stay open and 2. the land closed due to this BS is once again opened. The 99% that don't abuse the land are the ones that suffer. A lot of times the powers that be are just itching for an excuse to close public land. They are already doing that (the NPS) trying to close parts of the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.
More likely locals because the homeless won't have the resource (vehicle) and the kind of junk thrown (as seen) to be going out there anyway. It's definitely the deplorable kind of people.
@@jayd2655 I use the term 'homeless' loosely here. Maybe no permanent address which is fine but they aren't actually there to explore and cherish the lands. They are there to abuse it. It takes all kinds of idiots to do this. But I've seen plenty of people living in their cars, trailers or whatever that are completely different from recreational travelers and people out there to explore and sightsee.
@@NigelNaughton we're splitting hairs here but I'll stick to my contention that it is unlikely the 'homeless' are doing the dumping - again, simply because they have limited resources. I would contend that these people are probably the enterprising kind where they post ads to pick up your trash for a fee, but then dispose of them in public/private lands when no one is looking just to avoid the service fee at landfills. Absolutely deplorable people.
@@jayd2655 For sure it is disgusting and regardless who is doing it my main point really is that while it is great as outdoor enthusiasts we all gather together to clean and maintain these public lands, we should also work with the powers that be (Administrators like Dept. of Interior, NPS, BLM, and our federal, state and local representatives, etc) to let them know we are NOT the problem, we are the ones taking doing the work and so therefore they should NOT punish the 99% by shutting these lands down.
We totally agree! The city of St George is heavily involved with clean ups like this so that is extremely helpful. They have a good team that realizes the importance of having trails for the people to use. They provided the large commercial dumpsters for us to put all of the trash in and even were there to help us off-load into the dumpsters. Not all city officials are like this however so electing good people to these responsibilities is also important.
It’s not the 4Xers. I’ve never seen anyone carrying lounge chairs pallets and hot water heaters. But the 4Xers will get punished for it. Democrats most likely🤔
I'm not sure why they would laugh. If anything I would think they would be stoked to hit a unique trail with some different scenery. This trail was a great trail with incredible views. It was not meant to be a challenging off-road trail. We had a lot of great people come out with vehicles built to all degrees. We cleaned the trails and had a great time! What is there to laugh at?

Thanks for doing your part and more to keep our trails clean! Mad respect.
It takes everyone to keep our trails clean and accessible!
Those are some perfectly good pallets too. So many ways to reuse those.
Where I work we throw away tons of those daily.

Isn't that the truth! We are never satisfied. :) But to get the awesome Lime Rush color we had to go with the Pro.
Toyota saw fit to keep the 99% happy. These are 1%'ers 😛

Chaps my hide, to. Hopefully, add my BRT4R to your mix someday. Looks like a great time!!
AWESOME FOOTAGE AND VERY NICE CLEAN UP THANK YOU GUYS 👍 🇺🇲 🗽🇺🇸 GET-R-DONE PATRIOTS 🇺🇸
Thank you! And thanks for watching!
That was really awesome, sad you have to clean other peoples mess but glad your doing it, you have lots of respect and my business!
Keeping the trails clean and open is very important to us because it really sucks seeing trails get closed off! Thank you!
My hat to you guys - really good job. Maybe one day I will take my 4runner and meet up.
Looks like a cool trail...I have to check this trail out for myself
Yes you should. It’s worth the time to do for sure!
Thank you for allowing me to observe the trash.
That lx570 is big poppa to show you little bears the way in your t4rs
i lived in st george for 6 mos back in 06. dixie state college . thank you for that and thanks for Sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Love it! Thanks for coming out 🤙⚡
We had such a blast!
Yes. More vids pls
Sounds good! We'll keep em coming!

what's the name of this trail?

Yes we will be selling the green machine! More mods and fun to come first but let us know if you are interested.

Can't beat a day on the trail with a group of 4runner owners! And yes the lack of respect is infuriating!
Where you’ll from ? What state how often do you guys do off road next time I’ll come join you guys with my 03 4runner
We are from Idaho Falls, ID! We get out quite often so we will have to connect one of these times.
So let me know when is the next trip I would love to join the pack ! I’m in Utah county thanks
Please make bumpers for the LX600. Specifically a front bumper with a winch host!
Yes that would be awesome! Have you gotten a vehicle yet? They are tough to come by right now.
Pretty lame people can be such dirt bags, but pretty awesome you guys put in the work to clean up, definitely gonna be picking up some of your gear for my truck 👍🏻
Yeah its a bummer to see, but awesome that so many people were willing to help clean it up. And can't wait to see it!

We couldn't agree more!
This is so rad! Love to join you guy
s some day!
That would be awesome!
How did they clean up an entire dumptruck load of trash? The water heater probably costs $50 to properly dispose of, tires, $20...
Speaking of racks, on a side note, I ordered a rack for my 80 Land Cruiser March 27. How long does it usually take to ship? Haven't heard a peep about it. thanks!
12-16 weeks

Words don’t describe the anger I have for animals that litter their trash on such pristine land !
That black 4runners steel bumper is almost falling off just going up that small hill

Gotta love those people that are so entitled they ruin stuff for other people 😕
I walked away with a broken CV joint.
Unreal - many country landfills are even free for residents. No excuse to dump on the trail.
"basically stock except for the few items we put on it" - about sums up what everybody says about their rig, even if it has tons of mods lol
Not too much off roading. tons of talking. But thx for helping keeping trails clean. More trails please
Check out our follow up video of doing the Toquerville Falls trail as we left St George that weekend. It may be more your style!
7:57 Me want
Sheesh. Like 5 minutes of trail video and 1 hour of this guy jaw jacking.
I thought the 4R's were a "Boomer" vehicle. Nice to see millennials and Gen-Xers enjoying the 4Runner. I'd love to join you on the next Experience.
I think everyone is liking the 4runner these days! Please do join us for the next Experience... It is worth the time for sure!
