@Light Knot I honestly do not think it is a reference to skyrim at all. The crown has a scarab beetle on the front, very reminiscent of Egyptian scarabs. The entire quest revolved around ancient aliens essentially, and anyone who has ever watched an episode of ancient aliens knows the correlation between Egypt and the ancient alien theory. I kind of figure that is what they were referencing.

Here’s what I think happened at the fish packing plant. The raiders invaded the area for food, but the railroad, noticing the size of the area try to set it up as an outpost. The Institute catches on, but the railroad found out and fled the place as the synths come in. Or maybe... THE RAIDERS WERE GARY!!!!!

RE: Children of Atom: There's actually a quest in the Nucleus in Far Harbor where Zealot Ware makes a special sort of Rad-Away cure for members of the Children who are NOT immune to radiation. The quest "The Trial of Brother Devin" talks about how most members are immune but not all, and Grand Zealot Richter also talks about his own immunity.
wonder if Fallout 5 will have an "institute" style moon colony that *never* felt the effects of the war? like some sort of Turn A Gundam style story, coming in as a stand-in for the Enclave to "recover whats theirs". though that would require a Fallout that has a much larger play area than a single city or state, since ya know, space invasion.

Theory on Children of Atom: the Children are evolving into ghouls and early symptoms include resistance and eventual imunity to radiation. In Tactics we saw a chapter of the Church that included both human and ghouls members. Along with a zealot sect in the Capitol Wasteland that would willingly irradiate themselves with the belief that ghouls were the next step in human evolution. Keep in mind the Ghoulification Perk in 4.
High rad exposure is why Ghouls look like that, as would anyone who could survive what radiation sickness does to you, Ghouls talk about suffering hair loss and skin sloughing (though not tooth loss, also part of radiation poisoning). So the Children, who aren’t suffering those things, can’t be becoming Ghouls. Though the lore hints at some that don’t suffer those things and have survived since the war…but always living near heavy radiation. So maybe the immortality gene that seems to activate for Ghouls, plus the rad damage avoidance gene the Children seem to possess…
I really hope we get more lore about the Sea of Tranquility, I’ve always been so interested in Fallout’s space actions. I wonder if they made it to mars? The Sea of Tranquility is a real place on the moon btw

Man, fallout on the moon would be a neat concept. Instead of living on an irradiated post apocalyptic world, you’re stranded on a lunar colony. It would be a pretty big departure from previous stories, but I like exploring the consequences of the Great War.
A "Sea of Tranquility" DLC (linking to the the aliens) would have been amazing...Somehow, find a shuttle (that takes you to the moon) that leads you to a whole new world to explore.
As far as Cabot goes, even though its initially most probably from aliens, it should be noted that the type of aliens in the fallout lore do not have technology that looks like that. every alien and the ones from Mothership Zeta have a somewhat consistent almost cartoony style aethestic to their gun and transports and tech. the cabots helm seems more in line (but slightly different) something more in line with Dwemer tech or something. it could have came from different aliens i suppose. thought this was worth pointing out
Actually it's not aliens at all, it's all H.P. Lovecraft references. The city Lorenzo found is "The Nameless City", a story by Lovecraft about an archaeologist that discovers a city in Arabia from an earlier civilization of Cthulhu worshippers. It's the first story about Cthulhu. Also, Parsons State Insane Asylum is inspired by real-life Danvers State Insane Asylum, which also inspired Lovecraft's Arkham Sanitorium, which inspired Arkham Asylum in Batman. And Lovecraft also has a story about the Cabot Museum of Archaeology. Lovecraft was from Massachusetts so there's quite a few reference to him. Pickman, Dunwich Borers, and the Kingsport Lighthouse and some of the stuff at Point Lookout in Fallout 3 are all references.
Whoa I just finished the vid after I wrote that. Mahkra Fishpacking Plant. Mahkra. Arkham spelled backwards. I never noticed it but it's another Lovecraft reference. My guess is it was tied to something bigger that got cut. Probably something to do with why no one could leave and why the raiders died.

I don't really know much about Lovecraftian lore either, I know a couple stories and I know Cthulhu and the Necronomicon, both of which have versions in Fallout and Skyrim (Hermaeus Mora). In Mahkra, it might be why all the raiders look alike too.
@@JesusCheeseburger ever play Eternal Darkness for gamecube? its loosely based on Lovecraftian stuff. theres a book made of skin and ancient sleeping evil in the earth and you take control of significant characters who messed with the book through time. theres a roman person and a persian and a medievel squier and a soldier in WW1 and a landowner during the revolutionary war and one even from modern day middle east fighting. Its best part is the sanity meter. if you get too stressed out the characters will hallucinate and see enemies that dont exist or enemies that are teeny tiny or the room will be upside down or rooms will change to be covered with blood and stuff like that. the worst ones are the ones that are specifically trying to mess you up. sometimes it will have a bunch of zombies corner you but then the tv will look like it lost video and youll hear yourself getting killed or sometimes it says your controller was disconnected and sometimes it looks like roaches are on your tv. the meanest one is when you go to save your games it will be like "Are you sure you want to delete your save?" and you say "No" and then it says "Are you sure you want to delete all saved memory on your memory card?" and of course youre like "NO!!!" and then it pretends to be loading while saying "Deleting all data..... your memory card is now empty". its a real asshole of a game
I that believe in unofficial fallout lore (a fallout pen and paper expansion), the enclave had a secret base on an asteroid in case the capitol of the enclave was destroyed. This base was only accessible postwar through a railgun-type launcher which propelled spacecraft at extremely high speeds to access it. This base was semi-autonomus, run by a semi-AI computer. This was made by the US government several years before the great war. This leads us to believe that they had some other form of space base that survived the war, most likely on the moon, as there were no mentions of a Mars landing, only a moon landing.
The escaped synth is believed to be you according to some fan theories (and semi-hinted at by DIMA in one of the DLC). If this is the case, they stopped tracking you when you went to the Brotherhood, deeming you either a liability or on the right path to finding them.

@@TGM1001 no, the theory goes that after you were brought out of suspended animation then put back in you didn't survive the second time. So your son made a synth of his father / mother to see how he / she would react and survive in the post-war wilderness. This is semi-hinted at by DIMA when he says there may have been a 3rd perfected synth before gen 3, implying he thinks you were the first complete human-looking synth. Of course it's just a fan theory and will probably never be confirmed or denied.
Nah, it's partially randomized. The NPCs could be male or female, but they all look the same. The game is programmed to spawn dozens of dead raiders with a RANDOM appearance... and the SAME face/body. I don't think that's a bug. That HAD to be deliberate. the question is why...
its stated the children of atom have a unique combination of mutations making them effectively immune to radiation without the downsides of being a ghoul. Though they're probably infertile
The one thing that always bothered me is the location of the crater in the glowing sea compared to the explosion right before you enter the vault. The explosion is east of the crater. Check it out for yourself.
I know I'm super late to this particular party but I javelin a theory about the "clones". I think they *are* Synths. The reason you don't find a component on them is answered by the existence of the Institute. They removed those components precisely so people wouldn't know they were Synths. Remember that the Institute wants to keep Synths on the DL as much as possible, and how much of a black eye would it be to them if people saw an entire Raider Gang composed entirely of Synths? Or it's also possible the Institute wanted to experiment with Synth personalities and placed the group in an out of the way area and monitored them to see what would happen. We find the place shortly after they've decided to end the experiment. Anyway, just my thoughts on the matter.
I've noticed that Lorenzo's crown bears a striking resemblance to that of Sotha Sil from The Elder Scrolls. Keep in mind one also finds Nirnroot in Fallout 4.
Actually, this happened recently in my game. In far harbor(forgot which character) tells you that a few people are genetically “immune” to radiation. I put radiation in quotes as I’m pretty sure it isn’t all the time.
The Sea of Tranquility is what intrigues me the most. There’s so many new possibilities that open up when you think about it. Are there still people living on the moon? Who are they? What faction do they serve if any? Is the Vault Tec leadership also located on the moon, still monitoring the vaults? The Enclave? Is there a space colonization program? I just find it strange that Bethesda brings this up yet doesn’t say a single word about it in the rest of the game. Obviously it’s something that will be explored in a future Fallout game. Similar to what they did with Fallout 3 and “ The Replicated Man.” One single quest within Fallout 3 preludes the main plot point of Fallout 4, The Institute and Synths.
Lorenzo's helmet is dwemer in origin. It found its way to earth after a dragon break. A dragon did as well but found itself buried under what is now Dunwich borers. The raider duplicates are actually all the remaining Garys. The went to the plant to use fish oil to take off their pipboys so people would stop hacking off their arms. The institute showed up to claim all the processing power of the discarded pipboys.
The fish packing plant's location on the map is in Salem. It should actually be a power plant, water treatment facility and a university marine biology lab. They could have done so much more with that location.
I mean that Sea of Tranquility thing could just be a painting just combining all of America’s accomplishments in one image, such as winning wars and putting their flag on the moon
You forgot to mention the secret entrance at the fish packing plant. There are 5 trip lasers that you have to walk through in a specific order. That will open a secret door on the side.
The mysteries are really fascinating and I look forward to playing the game again to check some of these out! However, it would be nice to understand how these little "easter eggs" end up in the game. That would make it a lot easier to evaluate their significance. The SR synth mystery, for example: was it just one developer being sneaky and putting his mark in the game, or was this an intentional element of the design throughout production? If it's just one guy having kicks then there will probably be no other elaboration on this theme hidden in the game, so there's no point trying to figure it out. However, if the "only synth who the Institute didn't pursue and who seems to be the only one with the same model preface as child-synth Sean" theme is part of the full design concept, then I would almost certainly expect some good explanation to exist somewhere in the game. With that intention behind it, this almost sounds like an intentional scavenger hunt. So it would be nice to know, but probably very difficult to answer.
I think, Lorenzo's crown looks Dwemer, it has an atherium looking stone and the bronze colours are extremely Dwemer. Maybe when the Dwemer disappeared from Tamriel they ended up on our earth. Very drastic theory but haven't thought about the details but in my opinion it seems like it could hold minor possibility.
My thoughts on the theory on S9-43 is the child synth was in the run at Boston Airport and when the Brotherhood came it integrated among the Squire ranks, the moon battle reminds me of the Captain Cosmos battle against aliens from the Nuka World DLC.
After hearing about the packing plant I was shocked about how I didn't even noticed that they all looked the same. I did go there a second time and As I was exploring I saw only one female on the roof of the plant.

In regards to Makhra I've been here multiple times cause it's easily the best place to farm aluminum. I always assumed the synths wanted it for the mass size and relative easy defensibility of the place. I'm more concerned as to why there is a random GLowing One just chilling on a float next to it

Lorenzo's crown is a war helmet made by the precursors, if you really look at it the right way, you can see the eyeholes. I think that only if this particular species wore it, they would be able to have the helmet's faceplate slide down over them. These "magical" effects are likely "powers" that the helmet would transfer over, much like power armor and its paint jobs.
In the previous video, you mentioned that Elder Maxson had possible enhancements from the archives, so perhaps he is the synth that the Institute is afraid of hunting down. They would have reason to fear him.
I don't think the duplicate faces thing at the cannery was a bug. I think it's meant to indicate the Raiders were clones. The game chooses a different random appearance each time it spawns them and applies that face and body to every Raider in the facility. But they're not identical. Some of the Raiders are in pieces, they have different clothing, one has a key item, etc... but they all have the same randomly chosen face....

My theory for the Sea of Tranquility revolves around the real world of it being where Apollo 11 landing occurred. But my problem is I don’t know if spacecraft back then used transistors or not. zoriononline Cities under deserts is not an uncommon thing in myth. And geographically TES and FO don't share any similarities so it certainly isn't the same planet. Same universe, maybe, but you could pretty much say that about quite literally everything as just existing in the same universe doesn't necessarily mean they interact. As for the nirnroot, it's most likely just an easter egg, in my opinion. There are plenty of easter eggs that shouldn't theoretically exist in the FO world, but they're there.
Personally I just think best Bethesda being lazy and reusing ideas and part of the artwork but if you think that perhaps Fallout 4 happens tens of thousands of years after the Elder Scrolls maybe you're right

zoriononline It looks too gray/green to seem Dwemer to me. Also seems too curved, Dwemer stuff tends to be more angular or at least have angular symbols on it. And the front of the crown in FO4 seems to have some lizard or snake thing, which wouldn't make sense for the Dwemer. And I don't believe there is any evidence at all that the Dwemer were space-faring, especially since steam power would in no way be able to achieve that. And saying they are in the same reality is virtually meaningless, as you could say that about pretty much anything.
Isn't the fan theory that Fallout is a prequel to TES; that magic are just mutations. Also Nirn and Earth can be the same planet in that theory since eventually the sun would go out sending Earth hurling through space either getting pummeled to chunks or finding a new solar system.
I think that the fish packing plant was either a cloning facility or built on top of one, and possibly at one point there was going to be a mission involving it. That would explain why the raiders were clones, and why everyone was interested in it. Too bad, that would have, made a cool mission. It could have involved all of the factions too, the good factions would want to destroy it, and the evil factions would want to exploit it.
I think S9-43 could be one of the Brotherhood of Steel’s Squires because the S9 prefix is given to child synths and that the synth’s last sighting was at the Boston Airport..
Don't think the player could be a synth because of the Vault Tech ghoul rep that exists in the game and remembers the player from 200 years earlier. The Institute would have had to capture that memory from the dead player and use it as the start memory for the synth player and there isn't any evidence that they are able to do that.
Possible, but not likely. The Sole Survivor is probably a Synth, but was planted by Father in Vault 111 as a test. (Preparing them to become the next leader.) I suspect that Shawn (Father) is sympathetic to the Synth plight, and was hoping to ease the Institute into granting them more rights when they eventually discover the truth (several years later, so the people get to know the Sole Survivor and like them enough not to immediately try to overthrow them). To bad they get blown up in almost every ending.
I have a theory that when the Dwermers disappeared from Tamriel, they actually teleported to Earth. There they founded a city in present-day Arabia but eventually died out or mixed with Humans. But their technology persisted and would help Humans develop technology throughout history
Here's a theory, The United States were fighting a war against the Zetans and could have covered it up and blamed the Chinese, hence why the Chinese could have gotten angry over such a blame. This could have explained why the Chinese decided to attack Anchorage. This could also be why we see a Zetan on earth as they could have maybe sent a scout to judge wether they were ready for round two.
The Chinese didn't attack Anchorage over a blame, they attacked The U.S because they didn't have enough oil resources for their country. And a Zetan on earth isn't because they sent a scout. I dont keep up with lore speculation etc, so this could be a well known theory for all I know, but Inhad an idea listening to some of these recently and bringing up the Moom base possibility made me thinkmof it again. I always thought it was weird that Vault Tec would do all of these experiments on people right as any conclusions would be usless. What is the point of learning about how humans react to things/situations etc, if society is collapsed. They are a company so its not like they are doing it for long term goals of rebuilding it as those in charge would be dead for hundreds of years before they really could.....if ever. That along with all the Alien stuff, the moon/space action, and the Nuka World Vault Tech display made me think that maybe they had colony ships on their way to another planet and caused the bombs to fall to force people into their vaults to do tests to benifiet their mission and become the owners of humanity in the stars. Just a thought.

There's actually a quest in the Nucleus in Far Harbor where Zealot Ware makes a special sort of Rad-Away cure for members of the Children who are NOT immune to radiation. The quest "The Trial of Brother Devin" talks about how most members are immune but not all, and Grand Zealot Richter also talks about his own immunity.
wonder if Fallout 5 will have an "institute" style moon colony that *never* felt the effects of the war? like some sort of Turn A Gundam style story, coming in as a stand-in for the Enclave to "recover whats theirs".

Theory on Children of Atom: the Children are evolving into ghouls and early symptoms include resistance and eventual imunity to radiation. In Tactics we saw a chapter of the Church that included both human and ghouls members. Along with a zealot sect in the Capitol Wasteland that would willingly irradiate themselves with the belief that ghouls were the next step in human evolution. Keep in mind the Ghoulification Perk in 4.
High rad exposure is why Ghouls look like that, as would anyone who could survive what radiation sickness does to you, Ghouls talk about suffering hair loss and skin sloughing (though not tooth loss, also part of radiation poisoning). So the Children, who aren’t suffering those things, can’t be becoming Ghouls. Though the lore hints at some that don’t suffer those things and have survived since the war…but always living near heavy radiation. So maybe the immortality gene that seems to activate for Ghouls, plus the rad damage avoidance gene the Children seem to possess…

"May have missed" refers to everything. First time i played fallout 4 i missed the first weapons, and ran around punching enemies.
when i first started the game and had almost no ammo that trusty pool cue came in handy. took about 50 whacks to kill a ghoul.
One thing about the Children, the robes ARE kind of protective. They offer +25 radiation resistance if dawned by the player.

As far as Cabot goes, even though its initially most probably from aliens, it should be noted that the type of aliens in the fallout lore do not have technology that looks like that. every alien and the ones from Mothership Zeta have a somewhat consistent almost cartoony style aethestic to their gun and transports and tech. the cabots helm seems more in line (but slightly different) something more in line with Dwemer tech or something. it could have came from different aliens i suppose. thought this was worth pointing out
Actually it's not aliens at all, it's all H.P. Lovecraft references. The city Lorenzo found is "The Nameless City", a story by Lovecraft about an archaeologist that discovers a city in Arabia from an earlier civilization of Cthulhu worshippers. It's the first story about Cthulhu. Also, Parsons State Insane Asylum is inspired by real-life Danvers State Insane Asylum, which also inspired Lovecraft's Arkham Sanitorium, which inspired Arkham Asylum in Batman. And Lovecraft also has a story about the Cabot Museum of Archaeology. Lovecraft was from Massachusetts so there's quite a few reference to him. Pickman, Dunwich Borers, and the Kingsport Lighthouse and some of the stuff at Point Lookout in Fallout 3 are all references.

My guess is it was tied to something bigger that got cut. Probably something to do with why no one could leave and why the raiders died.

I don't really know much about Lovecraftian lore either, I know a couple stories and I know Cthulhu and the Necronomicon, both of which have versions in Fallout and Skyrim (Hermaeus Mora). In Mahkra, it might be why all the raiders look alike too.
@@JesusCheeseburger ever play Eternal Darkness for gamecube? its loosely based on Lovecraftian stuff. theres a book made of skin and ancient sleeping evil in the earth and you take control of significant characters who messed with the book through time. theres a roman person and a persian and a medievel squier and a soldier in WW1 and a landowner during the revolutionary war and one even from modern day middle east fighting. Its best part is the sanity meter. if you get too stressed out the characters will hallucinate and see enemies that dont exist or enemies that are teeny tiny or the room will be upside down or rooms will change to be covered with blood and stuff like that. the worst ones are the ones that are specifically trying to mess you up. sometimes it will have a bunch of zombies corner you but then the tv will look like it lost video and youll hear yourself getting killed or sometimes it says your controller was disconnected and sometimes it looks like roaches are on your tv. the meanest one is when you go to save your games it will be like "Are you sure you want to delete your save?" and you say "No" and then it says "Are you sure you want to delete all saved memory on your memory card?" and of course youre like "NO!!!" and then it pretends to be loading while saying "Deleting all data..... your memory card is now empty". its a real asshole of a game
I that believe in unofficial fallout lore (a fallout pen and paper expansion), the enclave had a secret base on an asteroid in case the capitol of the enclave was destroyed. This base was only accessible postwar through a railgun-type launcher which propelled spacecraft at extremely high speeds to access it. This base was semi-autonomus, run by a semi-AI computer. This was made by the US government several years before the great war. This leads us to believe that they had some other form of space base that survived the war, most likely on the moon, as there were no mentions of a Mars landing, only a moon landing.

The escaped synth is believed to be you according to some fan theories (and semi-hinted at by DIMA in one of the DLC). If this is the case, they stopped tracking you when you went to the Brotherhood, deeming you either a liability or on the right path to finding them.
But what if you never went to the Brotherhood before entering the Institute?

@@TGM1001 no, the theory goes that after you were brought out of suspended animation then put back in you didn't survive the second time. So your son made a synth of his father / mother to see how he / she would react and survive in the post-war wilderness. This is semi-hinted at by DIMA when he says there may have been a 3rd perfected synth before gen 3, implying he thinks you were the first complete human-looking synth.
Of course it's just a fan theory and will probably never be confirmed or denied.

Nah, it's partially randomized. The NPCs could be male or female, but they all look the same. The game is programmed to spawn dozens of dead raiders with a RANDOM appearance... and the SAME face/body. I don't think that's a bug. That HAD to be deliberate. the question is why...

The one thing that always bothered me is the location of the crater in the glowing sea compared to the explosion right before you enter the vault. The explosion is east of the crater. Check it out for yourself.
I know I'm super late to this particular party but I javelin a theory about the "clones". I think they *are* Synths. The reason you don't find a component on them is answered by the existence of the Institute. They removed those components precisely so people wouldn't know they were Synths. Remember that the Institute wants to keep Synths on the DL as much as possible, and how much of a black eye would it be to them if people saw an entire Raider Gang composed entirely of Synths? Or it's also possible the Institute wanted to experiment with Synth personalities and placed the group in an out of the way area and monitored them to see what would happen. We find the place shortly after they've decided to end the experiment. Anyway, just my thoughts on the matter.

I've noticed that Lorenzo's crown bears a striking resemblance to that of Sotha Sil from The Elder Scrolls. Keep in mind one also finds Nirnroot in Fallout 4.
Actually, this happened recently in my game. In far harbor(forgot which character) tells you that a few people are genetically “immune” to radiation. I put radiation in quotes as I’m pretty sure it isn’t all the time.
The Sea of Tranquility is what intrigues me the most. There’s so many new possibilities that open up when you think about it. Are there still people living on the moon? Who are they? What faction do they serve if any? Is the Vault Tec leadership also located on the moon, still monitoring the vaults? The Enclave? Is there a space colonization program? I just find it strange that Bethesda brings this up yet doesn’t say a single word about it in the rest of the game. Obviously it’s something that will be explored in a future Fallout game. Similar to what they did with Fallout 3 and “ The Replicated Man.” One single quest within Fallout 3 preludes the main plot point of Fallout 4, The Institute and Synths.
Lorenzo's helmet is dwemer in origin. It found its way to earth after a dragon break. A dragon did as well but found itself buried under what is now Dunwich borers. The raider duplicates are actually all the remaining Garys. The went to the plant to use fish oil to take off their pipboys so people would stop hacking off their arms. The institute showed up to claim all the processing power of the discarded pipboys.
The fish packing plant's location on the map is in Salem. It should actually be a power plant, water treatment facility and a university marine biology lab. They could have done so much more with that location.

There are 5 trip lasers that you have to walk through in a specific order. That will open a secret door on the side.
The mysteries are really fascinating and I look forward to playing the game again to check some of these out! However, it would be nice to understand how these little "easter eggs" end up in the game. That would make it a lot easier to evaluate their significance.
The SR synth mystery, for example: was it just one developer being sneaky and putting his mark in the game, or was this an intentional element of the design throughout production? If it's just one guy having kicks then there will probably be no other elaboration on this theme hidden in the game, so there's no point trying to figure it out. However, if the "only synth who the Institute didn't pursue and who seems to be the only one with the same model preface as child-synth Sean" theme is part of the full design concept, then I would almost certainly expect some good explanation to exist somewhere in the game. With that intention behind it, this almost sounds like an intentional scavenger hunt.
So it would be nice to know, but probably very difficult to answer.

I think, Lorenzo's crown looks Dwemer, it has an atherium looking stone and the bronze colours are extremely Dwemer. Maybe when the Dwemer disappeared from Tamriel they ended up on our earth. Very drastic theory but haven't thought about the details but in my opinion it seems like it could hold minor possibility.
My thoughts on the theory on S9-43 is the child synth was in the run at Boston Airport and when the Brotherhood came it integrated among the Squire ranks, the moon battle reminds me of the Captain Cosmos battle against aliens from the Nuka World DLC.

After hearing about the packing plant I was shocked about how I didn't even noticed that they all looked the same. I did go there a second time and As I was exploring I saw only one female on the roof of the plant.

Lorenzo's crown is a war helmet made by the precursors, if you really look at it the right way, you can see the eyeholes. I think that only if this particular species wore it, they would be able to have the helmet's faceplate slide down over them. These "magical" effects are likely "powers" that the helmet would transfer over, much like power armor and its paint jobs.

I don't think the duplicate faces thing at the cannery was a bug. I think it's meant to indicate the Raiders were clones. The game chooses a different random appearance each time it spawns them and applies that face and body to every Raider in the facility. But they're not identical. Some of the Raiders are in pieces, they have different clothing, one has a key item, etc... but they all have the same randomly chosen face....

My theory for the Sea of Tranquility revolves around the real world of it being where Apollo 11 landing occurred. But my problem is I don’t know if spacecraft back then used transistors or not. zoriononline Cities under deserts is not an uncommon thing in myth. And geographically TES and FO don't share any similarities so it certainly isn't the same planet. Same universe, maybe, but you could pretty much say that about quite literally everything as just existing in the same universe doesn't necessarily mean they interact.
As for the nirnroot, it's most likely just an easter egg, in my opinion. There are plenty of easter eggs that shouldn't theoretically exist in the FO world, but they're there.
Personally I just think best Bethesda being lazy and reusing ideas and part of the artwork but if you think that perhaps Fallout 4 happens tens of thousands of years after the Elder Scrolls maybe you're right
Oh I didnt mean that Earth and Nirn(TES world) is the same at all. But I do belive BSG stated that they are in the same "reality".I was just thinking that the Dwemer may have wandered of here and there, and when the "colony" on earth vanished it was cause of the whole race of Dwemer being "wisked" away from reality so to speak.And that the artifact do look abit like typical Dwemer designs.
zoriononline It looks too gray/green to seem Dwemer to me. Also seems too curved, Dwemer stuff tends to be more angular or at least have angular symbols on it. And the front of the crown in FO4 seems to have some lizard or snake thing, which wouldn't make sense for the Dwemer.
And I don't believe there is any evidence at all that the Dwemer were space-faring, especially since steam power would in no way be able to achieve that.
And saying they are in the same reality is virtually meaningless, as you could say that about pretty much anything.
Isn't the fan theory that Fallout is a prequel to TES; that magic are just mutations. Also Nirn and Earth can be the same planet in that theory since eventually the sun would go out sending Earth hurling through space either getting pummeled to chunks or finding a new solar system.

I think that the fish packing plant was either a cloning facility or built on top of one, and possibly at one point there was going to be a mission involving it. That would explain why the raiders were clones, and why everyone was interested in it. Too bad, that would have, made a cool mission. It could have involved all of the factions too, the good factions would want to destroy it, and the evil factions would want to exploit it.
I think S9-43 could be one of the Brotherhood of Steel’s Squires because the S9 prefix is given to child synths and that the synth’s last sighting was at the Boston Airport..

Don't think the player could be a synth because of the Vault Tech ghoul rep that exists in the game and remembers the player from 200 years earlier. The Institute would have had to capture that memory from the dead player and use it as the start memory for the synth player and there isn't any evidence that they are able to do that.
Plot twist: S9-43 is actually the sole survivor.
Possible, but not likely.
The Sole Survivor is probably a Synth, but was planted by Father in Vault 111 as a test. (Preparing them to become the next leader.)
I suspect that Shawn (Father) is sympathetic to the Synth plight, and was hoping to ease the Institute into granting them more rights when they eventually discover the truth (several years later, so the people get to know the Sole Survivor and like them enough not to immediately try to overthrow them).
To bad they get blown up in almost every ending.
I have a theory that when the Dwermers disappeared from Tamriel, they actually teleported to Earth. There they founded a city in present-day Arabia but eventually died out or mixed with Humans. But their technology persisted and would help Humans develop technology throughout history
Here's a theory,
The United States were fighting a war against the Zetans and could have covered it up and blamed the Chinese, hence why the Chinese could have gotten angry over such a blame. This could have explained why the Chinese decided to attack Anchorage. This could also be why we see a Zetan on earth as they could have maybe sent a scout to judge wether they were ready for round two.
The Chinese didn't attack Anchorage over a blame, they attacked The U.S because they didn't have enough oil resources for their country. And a Zetan on earth isn't because they sent a scout. A ship crash landed with a Zetan on board which was hiding in a cave. I recommend watching the video "Fallout: The Sino-American war" by yaboiii. I know I'm 2 years late but in case you aren't up to date with fallout lore watch that video.
I dont keep up with lore speculation etc, so this could be a well known theory for all I know, but Inhad an idea listening to some of these recently and bringing up the Moom base possibility made me thinkmof it again.
I always thought it was weird that Vault Tec would do all of these experiments on people right as any conclusions would be usless. What is the point of learning about how humans react to things/situations etc, if society is collapsed. They are a company so its not like they are doing it for long term goals of rebuilding it as those in charge would be dead for hundreds of years before they really could.....if ever. That along with all the Alien stuff, the moon/space action, and the Nuka World Vault Tech display made me think that maybe they had colony ships on their way to another planet and caused the bombs to fall to force people into their vaults to do tests to benifiet their mission and become the owners of humanity in the stars. Just a thought.
I like to think the SR sinth was meant to be a temporary replacement for father but got the "Bug" and threatened the Institute in a way only the leader of it could, to not bother him.
