I literally stopped watching because you did not have English subtitles but I’ve come back after years and you HAVE ENGLISH VOICE OVER thank you so much coach I truly think the style you teach is the most logical and sound way
Amazing. The fact that this guy is being translated from russian and is still more able to convey the info/skill than any English speaker I have found, in RL or YT says even more about how great a teacher he is - Not everyone who knows a skill can teach, this guy is skilled and he can teach, if I lived there i'd be down to his gym in a second to sign-up. God bless.
Thank you so much for translating. I'm following A LOT of boxing channels in 3 languages and this one is definitely the best one. This coach analysed every detail and teach his art so well !
Yes he is one of the more better boxing channels for the SERIOUS amateur boxers. You can tell the stuff he goes into is some of the more subtle things that people overlook. The only problem before was that if you couldn’t understand Russian. But now he has English voice over
This is absolutely phenomenal. Thank you so much for sharing this and taking the time to dub it in english. Ive improved so much since I found Alexy, his way of explaining is amazing. I dream of someday comming to this gym and train a little.
@@MrTriple3D there are diferent ways of punching and diferent levels of Power. But to win a fight, its way more important to knwo when to punch then to use "the best technic " or the "hardest punch" or whatever.
@@mapac8866 yeah but even you know that there is no such thing as "the best technic" it's situational, i'd say knowing when to punch is just as important as knowing how to punch. equally as important as eachother.
I'm really enjoying these videos. The attention to detail reminds me of my first Boxing coach back when I lived in Barcelona: Sergio Blanco, el Maestrito. Loving this channel!
I find you last night and i coudent stop watching ! Even if i was very tired from a day of work and training , you took my sleep and i wanted to train ! God bless you from Romania with respect !
Thank you so much for this coach. I wasn't able to put a finger on what i was doing wrong even though i was following all the fundamentals. This one tip made a considerable difference. Thanks alot.
Excellent work my friend. I’ve been teaching this for a long time but it’s something that’s very hard to explain to people. Thank you. First time I’ve ever seen your videos, and I subscribed immediately.
@@anyguy6382i feel like the soviet style is more geared towards amateur boxing. The russians have historically been more focused on winning Olympics or other international tournaments where boxers are to represent their country and not themselves. To become an elite in pro boxing, you kinda have to shift your training regiment so that you could become a knockout artist. With 10+ rounds, it’s hard to win by points because of puncher’s chance. Black americans develop techniques to excel in pro boxing.
I've been kickboxing for about 10 years. I've been trained by professional fighters and champions. It's amazing how deep BOXING is. Never heard this. Always heard the return the left hand before throwing. But, after watching this, that doesn't make sense anymore. Thanks coach. I'm going to start drilling this.
I love how this guy moves so jagged, sloppy looking, and unnassuming, as if he's slightly more than half drunk, yet you know that behind all that is the technique of a killer who could put you down in a split second
You don’t have to rotate your torso with the shoulder as you retract the fist after the first punch. This way you immediately protect your chin from the front while it still stays protected on the side by your shoulder. I think this technique is more effective, though slightly more technically demanding.
begin throw before other hand come back, shoulder and hand will guard you, throw shoulder all the way for more distance, corkscrew shoulder, upper torso rotation
Wow hes about the first coach ive seen teach on the importance of twisting your shoulders to throw these punches. (Instead of twisting your wrists as many do which should be locked in place. Turn over from the shoulder.) This gives much better power, a more solid weapon to strike with, and it lifts your shoulder up to protect your chin. Always suprised by how little i aee this taught or employed and its a pretty big thing.
Notice how he keeps his chin tucked with shoulders every time. Really good defensive technique against a counter to the chin. A typical movement of a pro boxer.
Interesting, but it is merely one way of 'doing it.' Many other trainers teach that by pulling the punch/shoulder back quickly, propels the opposite punch forward with more speed and power. Now if this vid did not include the dogmatic "why you should not" then it would be a decent vid.
Yeah I was confused at first, you get way more snappier jabs or right straight from the "pulling" method, and the switching part of the two punches "trading" places is messing up your rhythm. I guess it works in his boxing system only and not the one that involves way more lower body mechanics than in this case.

Check out The Hybrid Warrior. Between the two channels everything is covered and conveyed in clear, concise terms.
These are the small details than make the difference.
Thanks a lot coach and keep your outstanding job !

Yes, he seems to be a good Trainer. But its more important to know WHEN to punch the n The perfect technic. I can teach you, if you want to.
@@mapac8866 no, it's useless knowing when to punch when you can't punch throw a proper punch

This small trick improved my 1-2 drastically
Really?
Me too
Your attack is ur defence,
Best quote
Fr I was about to say that
Your hands are up and forward whether attacking or defending. Blocking (out) attacks and vision. The shoulder roll can guard your jaw and ear.
Ahh yes I remember this from the days of yore

Damn this guy covers more in four minutes and does it better than any channel ive seen
The funny thing is. I have never seen this man fight and I know for sure. He has beat the absolute shit out of a lot of people
Gold. I HIGHLY respect the soviet martial arts. Might very well be the most effective ways of boxing and wrestling in the world.
I totally agree. Their knowlegde of biomechanics is just on a whole other level. Insane.
Yeah soviets and soviet influencied countries(cuba, uzbekistan, kazajastan, ucrania, etx) had the best technique in boxing.
Best roids tooo hahaaha
So how come black guys always beating everyone 😂

Excellent video! The importance of performing the fundamentals of boxing correctly can’t be emphasized enough!
It's all in the details. Thanks coach.
So different from how I was taught. Interesting seeing the differences in Russian and American. Always a learning opportunity in there
1:20 "Please wait for me before I finish" translating that part is hilarious hahaha
I dont get it?
I think I"ve learned more about the (sweet) science of boxing from watching two of these videos than I have in years of watching other youtube videos.
This is what I was looking for. I'll also check your other videos.
Thank you. ♡

Loose perhaps, not at all sloppy. And jagged not at all, all his movements are spirals
Nothing sloppy, clearly he has excellent technique and mobility. It s really surprising and disappointing to read your message
The real drunken master
Not sloppy or jagged, but I get you.
He could probably drop me
There are still teeth marks in his knuckles..
When asked to address the "difference", I laughed. Then? He began to explain, and the bowl of popcorn fell out of my lap as I sat up.
My God.
That thumb down jab is a real weapon. It stiffens the arm into a piston.
These videos are gold.
I have to admit this is the best boxing channel on UA-cam. And it is Russian. Very grateful to have discovered it.
Subbed. Thank you for the voice over!
Thank you. Great information and excellent translating.
Thank you
Thank you, master!

He explained it so well
begin throw before other hand come back, shoulder and hand will guard you, throw shoulder all the way for more distance, corkscrew shoulder, upper torso rotation
Awesome I can't believe I got it right it just seemed like with the first one the hands took longer to come back
Brilliant 👌🏻
I thought those were machine guns hanging up in the background till the guy walked up.
Sometimes its good to throw the first one a few times so your opponent thinks he has your timing, then switch to the second to catch him out.
Unfortunately I am too buff to do corkscrew well LOL. So I use JKD’s Lead Jab, I can force my arm out faster than I can corkscrew unfortunately
Super helpful!!!
This was brilliant, thanks
I use this technique myself. The only difference my 2 is directly behind the 1. Doesn’t ALWAYS work but often lands.
I think that guy with the black and red shorts is following you around…
Brilliant Sir,,,,thank U...

Good video
Glad you enjoyed
Karate strike basically
there are chances that both your fists might collide during barrades of punches if you dont take your left hand back fast enough isnt it?
This guy knows how to count to 2
Danke
I don’t think I heard it mentioned, jerking your shoulders also heavily telegraphs your punches
will doing this help me with connecting my right hand more??
My jaw hurts, just watching this
This reminds me of the ingle gym way if boxing
Super !
👏🏽
who throws 1-2 as two separate punches?)
How do I do his jab
I got too distracted by that wrist positioning lol.
Galera somebody can explain better to me please? My English in very bad so I don’t understand very well
“In Russia we don’t defence, our attack is our defence.”
