Thank you Jesse.
Hahaha. "Power of gray scale!" Breaking out some old school shit!
Yebo! nice vid guy. Thanks for taking the time and effort fort filming and posting!
Thank you for posting your videos. My wife and I have recently started cultivating blue oyster mushrooms and your videos are quite informing. Your a great content provider and quite knowledgeable . Thank you so much for sharing and giving to the world. You are making it a better place!!!
Great stuff as always 👍
I like your content! Good tips!
I'm a fellow myco enthusiasts also. Thanks for your videos. I am knowledgeable in mycology but I love to hear others techniques and ways of doing things to get a general consensus of how to do certain techs properly. I'd loooove to have a store set up like yours. I just made a HUGE investment so maybe someday soon. Keep doing what you do. You're amazing. Thanks again for the videos and mush love to you and yours brother.
Hey, Jesse! Stumbling across your videos is one of the nicest surprises! I’ve learned volumes from you and I can’t thank you enough for “sharing your knows” with me. Wanna be friends? 🙃
Dude I f'ing adore your videos.
Thank you, wise one!
The “power of grey scale” HAHAHAHA!

You look like a young Louis CK :)
Thanks for the videos
what heating plates are under those prestocookers?
Man... Its my dream to do this for a living. I would love to work for you and learn so much. I cant even fathem doing something i love for a living
Word. Just start doing what you love in your spare time. It’ll turn into a way to earn a living
Just do it. Start with 1 block then keep doubling.
Damn
I phathom alldae
Should be your mantra
What is the model of electric burners that you use for your pressure cooker?
Your puns!!! They keeeel meeeeee
I wanna work at your shop. Lol I will definitely load your bags and will work for supplies, discounts, and a little loot to live. Ha ha
what brand and model are those hot plates?
Thank you sir
Thanks man
Great video! Which brand of pressure cookers are those? You make mycology look so easy!
Nice Face/Off reference. Love watching these videos.
I know you said 3 and a half litters but I never saw you put water in either video lol
Hi mate. Just wondering if you have to let what you have sterilized cool down in the pot overnight or can i take it out and put it on the bench to cool down so I can put another batch through the cooker?
Thank you sir. You’re the only human I can handle watching long videos of. Lol. I’ve done your millet tek and two days later my jars are 20% colonized. Today I’m prepping my mono tubs! I’ve got 22 jars and 12 unicorn bags and a handful of various genetics and I’m super excited. Thank you for doing what you’re doing!
This is really me. lol you’re welcome.
I am wondering if this very same tek applies to rye berries? This seems so much more straight forward than what I have been doing.
Maybe I missed it but at any point are you adding gypsum to this mix? Or is it strictly going in your substrate.
Are those the presto induction compatible or regular one? And are those hot plates or induction burners?
Or do you recommend doing what you have set up as far as it looks like you have hot plates underneath of your pressure cooker???
Can you tell me what pressure cooker/ induction plate you are using?
What burners are you running your pressure cookers on?
2.5 hours is the longest time I've seen suggested, I do mine at 2 hours, plenty for this six bag set up, at least so far so good.
This guy's running a commercial operation and I think that probably is why he's so concerned about making sure everything's super clean. I think at home 2 hours is perfectly fine
Holy crap, Millet gets EVERYWHERE ....
What kind of induction burners is everyone using
What is the size of your pressure cookers ? Does it matter what brand we by ?
Ratio:
1000g millet
500ml water
50%
Did you say we could work for you? Specifically me because I’m amazeballs but can I work from home and we use zoom? lol you’re pretty hilarious and smart. Clear and concise and thank you.
*Amazeballs*
You want to be a zoom mycologist?
Neat-0
I cant help but wonder why he didn't respond sooner
@@Enochulate88 seems like a good idea since I’m in oregon. lol
So I just did this cook but I had 2 bags pop. And then 2 weren't completely vacuum sealed. Fo you know what causes this?
Great advice, but this guy comes across as very sarcastic… as if someone forced him to do this 😅
I ran this ratio and method for 3 hrs and there’s a little more burst grain than I expected and a little more clumpy compared to my oats, is that normal for millet or maybe over cooked a little ? Thanks
Jesse. may i suggest getting a pitcher or scoop that is as close to the volume of those thousand grams of millet.
He has one ...............
This is the second video of him showing this
I am going to purchase an electric Autoclave and price range around 300 to $400 Max could you please recommend the best that you have found that is electric 24 qt or 27 qt.
I have a 4.7 gallon All American stove top pressure cooker . But hard to regulate you have to manage it all the time and the temperature still fluctuates a little.. thank you have an awesome day 😊
Do you ever have water get sucked up in With the flap down in the water?
What would the easiest way for me to do the break and Shake if I don't have a flow hood? I assume if I do it and still air box it's not going to be still air in the Box anymore LOL
"Can I get a kilo of ya finest white, my man?"
"Hmmmmm, I think we might have got our mycelium crossed somewhere along this conversation... My finest white doesn't seem to be quite what you are looking for 🤦"
So you don't even add any water in the pressure cooker only in the bag with millet?
what is that device in the bottom right corner?
Jesse funny af.
I’ve tried this tek a few times and I’ve had trouble with the top grains in the bag not being fully cooked and moisturized as the bottom of the bag. I was curious what you may think could be causing this? Should increase water? Increase times? I don’t know if it’s a altitude thing or something I’m doing 1000g whole white Millet to 500g water in 4t unicorn bags using an all American autoclave unit using a trivet and such as the tek
Same issue here exactly.
Take it out of the pc in front of of your hood and shake the bag to distribute the moisture before sealing or inoculation.
"You get to do this a whole bunch every day" implying I wouldn't kill to get to do this every day
The only thing is difference Types of Mycelium colonize at different rates of moisture content in the grain. So while not hydrating millet might work for you it might not work for everyone depending on what kind of grain spawn and how quickly they want there grain spawn to colonize right?
That’s actually incorrect- we grow over 20-30 species, not including our wild catalog, and have run 4-5 different types of grain commercially, this works for all of them.
When can I start???
Put 4 3in. bolts through the holes of the pc plate to make it sit level.
Hey Jesse! Great video, getting ready to do up some of these myself, but I have the 3T unicorn bags and not the 4T. My assumption was to double the millet to 2000 grams for that size bag. Does that sound right?
We were wondering the same thing!
Is 3t bigger than 4t?
Is this ratio of millet to water good for cubes? Did 20 bags using this method and using LC. 4 days and no visible growth. Anyone else had issues? Opened one bag up and the grains feel dry compared to a soak and boil method i used to use.
Thanks you, did you state the time to keep under pressure?
He said 2 1/2 hrs
@@TheCodyk4 Thanks
Where do you get you 50 lbs millet bags
where is the best place to get millet
What brand bags are those?
Unicorn Bags
How much poo do you add for coprophilic species?
What city are you located in? Still looking for employees? ☺️
“Thermo dynamics” “science” !
Thanks for the vedio
I am suggesting that if you make a container that can be filled no more than 1kg you do not need to weigh it every time.
Thanks for shearing 😊👍
I pressure cooked the millet for 2,5 hours, the water evaropated and my pc is now warped in the bottom ☹️ unsafe to use at this point, and have to buy a new one.
Don’t B a Softy. Bang that shit out with a hammer and a tshirt
I would quit day 1 if I worked for this guy
This is “hulled millet”?
Nonhulled
lol
Future prepper here. I have no idea what the hell I am watching but I do have a bag of millet and a pressure cooker so maybe this is relevant for when the Canadians invade.
lots of nonsense talk.. how long PC?
Some dude that looks almost just like you is following or friends with my wife on Instagram lol
I had to pause because I lost it at 'power of greyscale'
This guy is really hard to watch with his body language and speeches
Imagine working for him.
Great content but your rambling makes your videos had to watch
