I think they are 5/16. I have used tuna cans in the past to elevate the trivet. If you want to spend the extra money you can go with stainless steel bolts etc
Doing the masters mix Seems like the bags melted 15 psi for 2.5 hours . They burst at the bottom . Can I reuse the substrate , transfer to another bag , is it ok to use if over cooked?
Niiice!!! I just ordered the exact same duxtop/presto combo. Should be here Saturday. Great tips, thank you for the upload!
Have fun!
Nice job eddy!
Thanks!
great video thank you
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video! What is the weight of those bags?
5 pounds
Thanks for watching !
Is there any other way to prevent the bags obstruct the air vent? Why does that happen? Can we pressure can bags without this? Great video thanks!
I put a heavy dinner plate on top of my bags so there’s no way the bag can plug the vent hole
What size carriage bolts? Is there no other way to lift the bottom plate with something that is temp resistant and won’t rust discolor?

What is the weight of each block of substrate?
Five pounds. 2 pounds masters mix and 3 pounds (1400 ml) water. Master mix is 1 lb each hardwood fuel pellet and 1 lb soybean hulls

I have reused substrate on occasion. Transfer to another bag and you should be fine.
