- Yet another early morning start for the travel vlogs! We embarked on the sunrise hike up the beautiful 1200 year-old Buddhist temple, Borobodur in the beautiful countryside of Indonesia. The golden hours at Borobodur were unlike any colors I've seen. This temple in Magelang, Indonesia is a MUST-SEE! Join me on my journey upwards to enlightenment : )

Haley, from my young teen age years on I was also a history freak. When I traveled around Europe in my late teens and early 20's in the military I got to experience places like Bastogne And Metz France. I like that you research the history of the places you go to and share it with us. It puts these places in perspective and sometimes teaches us why the people there are the way that they are.
I also slid down the ramp for the 90 meter ski jump on my butt at Innsbruck , Austria . But that's another story. The point is live a lot of stories. Do your homework so you actually know about the places you are visiting. It will help you appreciate them that much more
YAS, Legends of the Hidden Temple vibes! You should've ran around (if you could) so it's like a legit Temple Run! Haha. Buddhism is so interesting to me, so hearing the history of the temples was great info.
Hi, I'm Indonesian and I currently live in east Java, and you can reaaaallly have a great adventure here, if you want to. You can see the sunrise from bromo mountain, or if you like to hike mountain, you may go to Ranu Kumbolo lake in Semeru Mountain. I do recommend you this one. come visit Indonesia next time! :)

That Buddhist temple looks very familiar to me, as if I'd been there although I know I've never been to Indonesia...perhaps in a past life I was a Buddhist monk or maybe I've just watched too many Indiana Jones movies
