    The navigation has never led us wrong in our 01, and we have went to from Sweden to Austria and back. I guess I got well working unit. Great ride on long road trips! Can also add that I would not like to do that trip in a fully electric car, not yet. Good luck with the Volvo you are getting!

      I haven´t had any problems with the navigation either and I use it for almost every trip, even if I know the way (
      not to the local grocery store or to my daughter's school but to work and to my parents on the other side of town etc.), to get information about the best route and to avoid traffic jams etc.

    I have already two cars, a little one (Karl) and a old pick-up for off-roading (L200). I will get a 01 (monthly sub) very soon but only for just 3-4 months every year. For me, these problematics that you mention are not a problem. Nice video tho. Important informations to know. Thank you

    I will also get rid of it. I was in the early wave of adopters as well. In and out of Lynk & Co the past few years.
    I think the car is good value for money but the customer service is the worst in the industry as far as I know: got a cracked windshield in August (there was a small impact, Lynk & Co told me to go repair it free of charge with their partner, their partner cracked it, I told Lynk & co in August they said they ordered a windshield: since then nothing and talking to a CSR they have no trace of my request...
    Asked for winter tires in October, and finally got an appointment in the next few days after harassing them in December they said they could give no date (despite their partner garages saying they could take me within a few days because they had tires and open spots). So paying 500€ for half the winter season...
    I am not even mentioning some strange clunking noise when cruising at normal speeds sometimes like the gearbox is about to break: informed Lynk & Co and they never bothered to reply. So I am assuming they are aware of quality issues. So avoid going to remote locations knowing the car can break down at any time as Lynk & Co with their silence recognizes there is a known problem serious enough that they silence it.
    I also agree with your video on the lag (it was worse in the first version than the one I have to be honest), but also the software is still full of bugs, but more importantly lack of updates.
    With the rise of cybersecurity threats, not sure it is reinsuring.
    I am not ready to go back to Lynk & Co after I leave. I wanted to lean towards Volvo but I have seen videos on Volvos that seem to be having more and more poor quality influence from Geely...
    It is a pity a great brand like Volvo is stripped slowly from its quality image...

    The difference in subscription price of the Lynk & Co 01 and Volvo XC40 Recharge is €550 vs €819. THAT'S A LOT.
    At least in The Netherlands.
    A fully electric Lynk & Co is expected in 2024.

      I'm paying 580 EUR for the P6. A few weeks ago they increased the price for new customers to 680 EUR.

    How do you update the navigation maps?

  • @zhuzuinan
    @zhuzuinan 2 роки тому +3

    Count recognise your experience with Lynk & Co. It is a great car. Very comfortable and the electric range of 72 km is enough for daily trips. Together with the fuel I have a range of 750km!!!!
    The big screen is owesome. The navigation is not using Google Map, but now I am get use to this map. It is very accurate with route and navigation.
    The car sharing I have not tried yet since the app is not functioning yet.
    Put the overal experience is that Lynk & Co is a amazing car.

    I returned the Lynk 01 and got the full electric two-engine Polestar 2 in the Pilot Plus Edition. But I still think the Lynk 01 is a great car; probably the best value for money. But service and aftersales suck ...

    I totally understand your decision to go full EV. The 01 is pushing me this way as well, because driving in electric mode is so relaxing and I'd love to not bother with the ICE when I need a bit more power. Although the 01 is satisfying me at 99% so far (I'm lucky to have a software that isn't laggy).
    For my part I will probably turn to the Zeekr 001 as soon as they'll be avalaible in Europe!
    Anyway, I wanted to thank you for your videos on the Lynk & Co, they helped me to get a better look and understanding of the car while waiting for mine!
    All the best with your XC40, I'd love to experience Android Automotive at it seems really promising!

    Thanks for the great video. Currently weighing up whether to get a Lynk and Co for a few months as a test.
    I'm in Stockholm too. Through who are you getting your XC40? It being a full EV is very attractive.

      Keep an eye out here: www.volvocars.com/se/care-by-volvo/cars/?filters.fuelType=PureElectric
      They update ready to deliver (within 5 weeks) and you can choose with 3-month subscription (for a fee). They have a few different levels of equipment as well.

    hi, interesting but: why if you have android auto you use navigator of lynk and co? and i don't understand why you are fixed with share. it's a car overall, not a share economy.

    • @carlessSthlm
      @carlessSthlm  2 роки тому +2

      I want to have the map showing in the instrument cluster and that is not available with Android Auto/ Carplay. As for the sharing that was part of why I got the car and it is a big part of the marketing from Lynk & Co. So people should know how it is working.

      @@carlessSthlm ok but for normal use it's not a problem. i understand your point of view.
      for 95 km/h i understand your point of view but also there it's a feature of the car and of the Volvo and it's maked to cut the kw/h. for the engine use i remember you that when you ask more power the engine goes on. an engine when it's cold, have to enter normal temeprature, so if you wake up it, then it's normal that stay alive for minimum 2 / 3 minutes. otherwise you are making a problem on the engine oil, turbo, and all mechanic parts.

    I am not based in Sweden so I am not familiar with car pricing there. However, can you really get a full EV Volvo for the same price including the option to return it at any time, all servicing picking up the car from your home, changing tyres in winter, electric memory seats etc etc? I was horrified at the basic spec of my friend’s XC40 a couple of years ago - no light in the back of the car for example.

    • @carlessSthlm
      @carlessSthlm  2 роки тому

      The subscription has a three month notice so longer than the L&C but enough for me. They don't offer pickup but it does not require planned service the first years and it comes with the recharge tires (all-year). L&C have stopped the pickup service for tire changes recently. As for specs it is slightly lower, but hard to compare as the Volvo has some spec which are not available in the L&C. The price for the Volvo is 580 EUR but has been increased since I got it. I think they where getting rid of the 22 MY before increasing the price.

    I am ordering a 01 and should get it in April. Of course it's the electric ride that interest me. I'd like to go full EV but living in Belgium with a lagging infrastructure and zero governmental help, EVs with decent ranges are out of reach for 95% the population that don't use fleet cars provided by their employers. More than 50.000€ for the Model 3 standard range for instance...

    • @carlessSthlm
      @carlessSthlm  2 роки тому +1

      The Lynk & Co will be perfect for that. Especially since you can change once the infrastructure is better.

    yes ev drive is good,quiet,nearly no vibration compare to ICE engine(driving a lynkco 03phev in china)
    zeeker 001 is a very good car(compare to polestar2),but information system also have tons of bug.
    i wont go bev car now because range and change still are big problems for me.Some chinese car company already release phev car with 200km ev range,it is more useful
