I started driving a Lynk 01 and am bothered by the high-pitched whining sound from the electric engine when driving. Have those of you who have driven Lynk 01 also heard it? Why do you think that is? I thought PHEV and EV vehicles were well-insulated so as not to hear these types of high-pitched whining sounds from electric engines, which I find irritating. Any thoughts?
Almost 1900kg 😂 More clever to develop simple HEV and not PHEV in order to gain weight and maniability. And you don't have those constraints of recharge.
Man I also drive an A5 3.0 TDI 240 hp but we can't compare a Chinese and a German engine, a sedan and a SUV, a 1,9 ton and 1,6 ton cars, a diesel and an hybrid... they're totally different.

Should be normal if you hear it while accelerating

There is a HEV, I own one and it's in no way better than the PHEV.

I guess in 2017 the car was only available on blueprints
261 hp, seems more like 190 hp.
My A5 3.0TDI with 240 hp is so much faster than this.

Of course a 3L V6 diesel will be quicker than a 1,5L 3cylinder petrol... You're comparing apples with oranges.
