MAS Distro: Fairfield Circuitry - Hors d’Oeuvre? Active Feedback Loop

Hors d'Oeuvre is a new active feedback loop pedal from Fairfield Circuitry. It has a broad range of uses, from utility pedalboard routing and signal splitting, to creative on-the-fly mixing, drone and ambience creation, and unorthodox manipulation of outboard effects. It is outfitted with separate dry and wet level controls, polarity switches for wet and feedback signals, and luscious sounding JFET preamps on the IN and RTN inputs. The Hors d'Oeuvre is awesome for anyone who wants to maximize the possibilities of effects they already own, or simply do some creative routing on their pedalboard. In this demo video we use the Hors d'Oeuvre with a handful of other Fairfield pedals to create a haunting and ever-shifting feedback loop to accompany some angular post-punk riffing. Take note as the loop morphs and changes with the input signal, hovering at the edge of chaotic feedback while adding space, texture, and context to the main guitar part. We follow this opening musical number with a hands-on functional and tonal demonstration, twisting knobs and getting dirty.
