- Join us on a sonic adventure with the incredible Hors d'Oeuvre? pedal by @FairfieldCircuitry. We take a closer look at this active feedback loop pedal and put it to work with a few other pedals from the Fairfield Circuitry family: Meet Maude analogue delay, The Barbershop overdrive, and The Accountant compressor.
I had my Hors D'Oeuvre modified to take an expression pedal which controls the feedback control. It is now an amazing feedback / chaos machine on my pedal board, where I'm not required to bend down to twiddle the feedback knob.
Did Fairfield do that for you? Shman if they'd offer exp/cv control of some of these variables they'd be unbeatable in each offering
@@Spuzzmacher Nope, had it modified. Would be cool if it was included though.
Wow that's genius! Even for recording, that's got to be fun
@@lorendavie1526 Can you tell me who modified it? I would like to do the same.
Really great video.
By far the best demo on this pedal, thank you for NOT starting the video with 3 pedals going into it and explaining and showing what it does so clearly
dang!
Do you like it better before or after the delay?
I like it after
U sold me
@@MochaLatteMilkshake nice
Beautiful dry tone! What is the dry setup?
I feel like they missed the boat. Why is there no expression jack for the feedback? Or better yet, an expression jack that can be assigned with a switch to any of the three knobs? Very cool toy, though. I like that you can make the delay oscillate with the Hors d'Oeuvre's feedback knob.
Feels like eurorack with pedals. Very cool
This is so beautiful!
Love the ending
Now… can you control the feed knob with an expression pedal??
after 5:45 Im getting serious Volta vibes
RAD!
Wow 😮 cool
what patch cables are those?
EBS deluxe flat patch cables
Even the Hors d’Oeuvre by itself, with nothing in its loop and at manageable settings, can be a great overdrive/distortion/fuzz pedal.
