In May 2022 we travelled to Iceland to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. In the mornings at the hotel breakfast, we kept seeing people drinking shots of something with the food. We were curious and so we asked. The chef makes ginger juice that he then pours into shot glasses. We knew some of the health benefits of ginger and so started drinking a shot glass of it every morning we were there. At the end of our stay, we asked the chef how he makes his ginger juice. He said he couldn't give exact measurements for the ingredients as he has made it for years and just eyes it all. He said he grates ginger by and must be done this way to extract all the goodness. he then adds 7 cups of boiling water, 2 tsps. natural honey not processed honey, 2 tsps. fresh squeeze lemon juice and 2 tsp fresh squeezed lime juice. Let the mixture steep until it cools then bottle it and keep in your fridge. I haver type 2 diabetes and it helps my blood sugar levels, but I also have hypothyroidism, which means I have a very slow metabolism and it takes a lot long for my body to digest food, so slow that in fact the food starts to ferment in my stomach which eventually causes some violent vomiting. I have not had this issue since drinking our daily ginger juice shots, which is a game changer for me!
An easier way to get ginger is with a juiced 2oz. celery shot. It's all fresh and amounts can be change to taste. For six 2oz shots= 2 bundles of organic celery + 1-2 thumbs of ginger + 1 lemon, sprinkle of cayenne optional!

Each morning I make my ginger concoction made up of 4 cups water. Sliced ginger, about 2 tbsps., 2 tbsps. of cloves, 3 sticks of cinnamon, broken up, I'd use powered but it settles to easily. I make this in a teapot, mix all together, add boiling water and set for 10-15 minutes. I may also add turmeric, virgin olive oil, and natural honey, depending what I take before bed. Before bed I mix 1 cup of kefir, 2 tbsp. of virgin olive oil, and 1 tbsp. of turmeric, mix thoroughly and take 1/2 before bed. Started this over a year ago, lost over 20 lbs., and no stomach issues and I quit taking pain meds. Through trial and error this works for me, in moderation of course but works great!

I make almost everyday a ginger/lime juice. Just 1 lime and like a piece of ginger about 2 inches, cut in small pieces. 1 liter of water in a blender and blend the lime and the ginger like 90 seconds to 2 minutes. Sif it i to a can, add sugar to tast and it's good to go. If it's to strong add a more water or lots of ice.
I grate Ginger root into my salad greens every day. I do not suffer any joint pain. I combine the ginger with garlic and turmeric, olive oil and cider vinegar. I do not use ginger powder only fresh ginger root.

You need to add olive oil to tumeric to dissolve it. You also need black pepper to enhance its potency. I am 92 and good luck to you.

Each morning I make my ginger concoction made up of 4 cups water. Sliced ginger, about 2 tbsps., 2 tbsps. of cloves, 3 sticks of cinnamon, broken up, I'd use powered but it settles to easily. I make this in a teapot, mix all together, add boiling water and set for 10-15 minutes.
I may also add turmeric, virgin olive oil, and natural honey, depending what I take before bed.
Before bed I mix 1 cup of kefir, 2 tbsp. of virgin olive oil, and 1 tbsp. of turmeric, mix thoroughly and take 1/2 before bed. Started this over a year ago, lost over 20 lbs., and no stomach issues and I quit taking pain meds. Through trial and error this works for me, in moderation of course but works great!

I eat diced Ginger everyday along with turmeric with black pepper, spinach kale avocados broccoli and a few shots of extra virgin olive oil!! Plus matcha tea and chaga tea!!

I mix in blender banana ginger water turmeric and honey. Drink this every morning. I just noticed results after two weeks. My digestive system is working like in my early teens. And I’m pretty sure it those other things that I haven’t noticed yet.
Ihv bn taking one teaspoon of ginger powder plus one teaspoon of turmeric plus a pinch of salt in warm water with one table spoon of cold pressed coconut oil. All product being organic for my arthritis n it really helps. Bn doing it for 15 years so yes I am a great believer in all natural fixes to aid the body

I make almost everyday a ginger/lime juice. Just 1 lime and like a piece of ginger about 2 inches, cut in small pieces. 1 liter of water in a blender and blend the lime and the ginger like 90 seconds to 2 minutes. Sif it i to a can, add sugar to tast and it's good to go. If it's to strong add a more water or lots of ice.

I grate Ginger root into my salad greens every day. I do not suffer any joint pain. I combine the ginger with garlic and turmeric, olive oil and cider vinegar. I do not use ginger powder only fresh ginger root.

Ginger root (tsp) plus honey (tsp) plus dash of cinnamon plus 8oz hot water - first drink in morning and last drink before going to bed , we have an instant hot water tap , really nice. Ginger root is kept in freezer and is graded fresh when preparing drink.
