I apologize for the edit, the cut is a little choppy on this one. This is just a workflow I have found to work for me, if you have another workflow that works let me know.
Man I have been looking for this EXACT video for so long. I could never get it right. Even tried fusion>blender>unreal. It wasn't working out for me so thank you so much for this!
You have a crazy talent for explaining well. Everything is so fluid in your explanations. Please continue to do Camera Tracking with Davinci Resolve Fusion and export it all to 3D software. Pure happiness. Again!!! Maybe some Davinci + Blender again! Well done!
Thanks for the tutorial Brian, one critical thing to mention is that if you start your animation in the fusion clip with Camera tracking at say frame 3000 like I did you will need to offset your imported animation into UE or Blender to frame zero in order to see the tracked camera animation you created in Fusion line up. Nearly thought Fusion FBX exporter was broken till I realized this haha.
@@prophetless fantastic! the fact that adobe can be fully removed from the pipeline is amazing and this helps so much. currently working on a shot now and just figuring out how to export only the CG add ins ( not including the image plate) for compositing in DR
@@prophetless interesting issue, i've got my cg ships and exported from UE as EXR with alpha BUT when i bring into Davinci it comes with all the black detail ( in my instance tie fighter wings) transparent too. any clue?
Does it matter if your footage is 1920 x 1080 or lets say 4k when you track and export the information and bring it into Unreal, will it still line up with the ground plane in unreal? Is it just a matter of matching the camera in unreal?
first of all i want to thank you i'm wondering if you can make a video for camera tracking in Davinci resolve it has so many features and it's really confusing some how., for me the camera tracking ground never show i'm not sure why is not showing and align is never correct is there some advice ?
You are welcome! I did one a little while ago and nothing has changed with the camera tracker. You can check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/Nin66hrSy9c/v-deo.html It's pretty much everything you need to know.

As always - excellent video and exactly what I needed, Brian. Thank you for all you do!
You are most welcome! Thanks!

Haha. Good call! I try to think of every scenario when doing these videos, but at last I am only human. Thanks for calling that out.👍
that's pure gold!
Thanks! Glad it's helpful!
Great tutorial!
Thanks!
it's very help full me
thank you so much😇😇😇😇😇😇
You're Welcome! Glad it was helpful.
Absolutely amazing thank you SO MUCH. A video on using 360 hdri images as lighting for the unreal objects and exporting out would be sooo good ;)
You're very welcome! I will be doing more Unreal in the future.

Sounds like a color space issue and you are not multiplying your alpha
@@prophetless you may be very much right here, investigating more as its driving me crazy.
I cant move the exported camera movement, everytime i move it it keeps getting teleported back to the origin of the map. Any help?

Shouldn't matter what size the footage is. As long as the camera track is accurate.
first of all i want to thank you
