Hi thanks again for your tutourials the prob im having is after capturing a base i have client controlled units on delayed start which are activated on base capture but when i select them to fly it says unit is delayed to start please wait but they never spawn and nothing is blocking the spawn points any idea what im missing?
Has ED changed anything in DCS? I'm struggling to replicate the Farp capture, its a really simple mission, red farp and blue tank just out of range, the tank rolls in and the triggers work "Red farp captured" but the farp does not turn blue?
i know this is old but i need to know, what happens to supply lines when an af or farp is captured? (for example, an af is being supplied by another BLUE af but it gets captured by red coalition). do the supply chains not care about coalitions? thx!
So in the campaigns sometimes I hear a loud alarm going off alerting pilots and defenses. Is there a way to trigger that or set it. Or do you know what normally sets them off ? Adds to the realism for makin a scramble jet mission
My personal preference for this is to play a sound file linked to a ground unit and play that sound by having the vehicle transmit a message which is then played over the aircrafts radio
I can't make the sounds or text (Message to All or Sound to All) work at all. Has DCS broken itself? I've followed everything here exactly as you explained.
SUNTSAG ANCIENT GAMER I wish I had your luck. I don’t use the beta but neither Message All or Sound All are functioning. Also I see this used ground forces. What if air power removed all the defending units? (An island so no ground forces). I can only seem to see the base turn neutral

How do I make it where I have all ground units destroyed by client aircraft then it captures the base ? Thanks for the video it did help clear a lot of things
Hi MANGO6463, Ground units need to roll in and complete the capture of the base. So I would put in some late activated ground units in the mission with waypoints that take them onto the base. I hope that helps. Cheers.
For client aircraft it is possible to late activate an aircraft slot for when the airfield is captured...but nothing stopping someone joining that aircraft before the base is captured. Obviously the cockpit will not be entered until that base is captured. To Stop people trying to select a slot before the capture has taken place you would need to use a slot blocking script.

I only ever use OpenBeta and following my tests today, all sound options are working fine for me.
