Great you mention about the helo eventually moves faster because of less weight from fuel and/or wind. It is these little things that make me think I found an error only to be corrected when I find out why and really enjoy the complexity and detail of DCS! Bravo good sir!
Most Tutorials about the Mission Editor, that I've seen, end up just teaching the basics but never going in depth ... what I love about your series is how you pick up small situations, that can easily be used as part of a larger mission, but that require fairly in depth use of triggers and waypoint actions ... I've learned quite a bit on your channel, thanks a lot for taking the time to teach this :)
As the ships in DCS are still WIP and as such I am sure they will address the parking slots issue. Until then the answer is very simple........in the same trigger that activates the second helo, add a deactivation for the first helo....problem solved. (Using "GROUP DEACTIVATE").
Hi Rachel at the bottom of the mission editor screen there is a blue bar. Around the centre of that are three boxes labelled MAP SAT ALT just click on the SAT box and you will have displayed on your screen the satellite view. Hope that helps.
SUNTSAG ANCIENT GAMER probably meant they unit models which brings up my question. I tried editing the mission editor lua file to allow the models (another video had someone doing this) and it breaks dcs. I'm able to repair and run but, I can't seem to modify the file. Any suggestions?
Here is a link to a JSGME compatible amended .lua file. If you don't have JSGME then copy the MissionEditor.lua file and replace the one in your Open Beta install. Its located in the MissionEditor Folder. Cheers drive.google.com/file/d/1NUtsdObPJODlw2cCWmFdN2JMyoaUOVnt/view?usp=sharing

Hi rudelchw my pleasure and thank you for the feedback
Hate that the helo lands on the bow. Wish it would land near the scupper along the angle deck.
will the chopper sit there forever and hinder recovery ops or does he move out of the way eventually?
ty x
No worries you are welcome
Only problem is now that first helo is happily sitting in the way of landing aircraft until it despawns
