Interesting. any way to maybe make an "overlord" AI, one that controls an entire force of AI to hit various capture zones? I have an idea to make a mission similar to the game "Wargame: European Escalation" except with player initiated missions & player control of blufor. except add in that you start with far less (capturing more bases grants access to more weapons/aircraft), and also need to clear out insurgents and do recon and CSAR missions. But I kind of need an AI that can make decisions on where to send forces, what to of forces to use, what units to "Buy", what units to defend with..
also, is it possible to gain access to in-game lua commands, without running the game? or to modify variables/stats outside of DCS? ie via web browser? I know Lua itself can read/write to files, but I was thinking if it would be possible to have a web-app that you could input various things into the AI like "defend position GH20 in a radius of 1km with SAM/MANPAD/AAA" and it would generate a mission based on that info. I'd hate to have to use the F10 menu for that, as selecting area's could be difficult?
