    • @FearMyLadyBits
      @FearMyLadyBits Рік тому +51

      @dammar117 at least in the U.S., there's a huge problem of men 25 and older who target underage girls, often leaving them pregnant. There's such a huge difference of mental development between the 2 age groups, it's a general consensus that the men specifically target those girls because they're easier to control, groom, and manipulate.

    I’ve just had an epiphany - The public, Dr. G and I as well have focused on Misty’s culpability. Her apparent willingness to lie and withhold information are indicative of her culpability in Haleigh’s disappearance. But - WHY would she be held so accountable for Haleigh’s disappearance? Ronald was the sole guardian and parent of Haleigh and HE CHOSE to put a 17 year old drugged incompetent girl in charge of both his little children - in a trailer - in an area populated by drug dealers and criminal low lifes. Ronald is the one everybody should be piling on for responsibility for Haleigh’s disappearance - not just cockeyed Misty. Was he ever charged with parental neglect? He should have been. He conned 16-17 yr old Misty into that live in girlfriend babysitter bottlewasher job. He’s not stupid. He’s more responsible for Haleigh’s disappearance than was Misty - in my opinion. That was HIS child not hers. Misty had zero legal responsibility for Haleigh’s welfare so in all fairness let’s drag Ronald as well. The commenters here are predominantly hating or blaming Misty for everything and I think it’s out of balance.

      Hold up. Why isn't the person watching Haley responsible? Ronald chose to work nights so he could be there during the day to make sure they got to school and home safely. He went to work to support them. Misty was older than many babysitters who are hired to watch kids. He got the kids in their night clothes and ready for bed before he left for work. How is this his fault? Misty is the one who was there with them WHILE RONALD HAD TO WORK. I'm sure if he had quit his job and stayed home with them all the time... they wouldn't have had a home very long. We don't know if Misty stayed drugged up... but Ronald was being as responsible as he knew to be. Sure, I don't agree with him being with a 17 year old when he is 25... but at 17 she should have enough wits about her to be in a home with sleeping children and keep them safe.
