@r.r4580 good thing ur not a teacher ... cuz ur wrong in this case lol. If you're talking about him saying "a euro" then that is correct. It isn't " an euro"
Looks like a delicious place to start, sub some stuff out (like pb powder) and add protein powder w/more Greek yogurt and you can get better macros from this base
@@dorunafured5856it’s a bad ratio just because that means if you had 4 more meals with roughly that sort of macronutrient ratio, you barely clear the RDA (recommended daily allowance) for protein and that amount is hardly enough to build/maintain muscle. Even if your goal isn’t to be a bodybuilder or get leaner, weight training and having more muscle is important as you age for metabolic and legitimate accident survival reasons as muscle wasting disease (sarcopenia) has drastic negative impacts on your ability to live a quality life as you age. Getting in more protein is important for recovery and strength purposes and having less than 20g of protein per meal will not provide most people with enough protein to properly recover or gain muscle. Good target is about .6g per lb of body weight or about 1.3g per kg of body weight if you aren’t tremendously active but you can go up to about 1g per lb of body weight or 2.2G per kg if you are really training intensely
If you’re skinny and trying to gain weight, I’d recommend hitting the gym, and also just eating a lot. I know that sounds simple, but actually track what you’re eating every day with an app like My Fitness Pal, find out how many calories you usually eat, then add around 500 more than that. So if you usually eat 2,000 try to eat 2,500. Eat light snacks between meals, like a pb&j, or something like that to add calories. You’ll have to eat even when you’re not super hungry so get used to making sure you hit your calories. Aim for like 0.8 grams of protein per pound of your body weight, fats around 0.4 grams per pound of body weight, and the rest can be carbs! Good luck and eat up!
Why would I do 18g of protein, when I could do 45g of protein? Much better when you use protein powder. PS. That's desert, not breakfast. Seriously people, find a good protein powder, use that and some almond milk/oat milk, and then use PBfit powder instead of peanut butter.
Funny how tge jar magically got from almost overflowing to perfect. Maybe you can give the actual measurements in the description or even better make a video that isn't inaccurate.
The amount of times I’ve seen some stupid UA-cam food influencer make an oats recipe with banana and peanut butter I’d be rich. Nothing about this is original, 1 billion other people have done the same recipe. Try something else
Normally when I hear "Peanut butter banana" I think "Oh no, the banana's just gonna overpower everything!" But! Just topping this off with a few fresh slices instead of mashing some in is a perfect middle ground. I think I'll try this out!
Does he look like he goes to the gym? Seriously the only pre workout you need is eat good carbs 1 hour before training. Get some caffein in during your workout if you wanna feel abit more jitty.
Only 18g protein for about 430 calories? Looks decent, but not worth it for that ratio. I'll stick with keeping my meals close to 10g protein per 100cal.
Fun fact: Both oatmeal and milk have a hefty amount of tryptophan which causes sleepiness. Starting the day with a breakfast that makes you feel excessively tired. Brilliant idea!
Don't fall idiotic recipes like this, just eat normally. Oatmeal, milk, yogurt and some dried fruits is fine. You'll never loose weight if you don't have discipline and humility, so eat your bland food and keep sweating.
a tablespoon of Greek yogurt and pb barely even reaches 10 grams of protein 😂 use protein powder, you can make overnight oats that have over 40g protein with only 400 calories
Thank god I found this recipe because my oatmeal looks like prison food 💀
HAHAHAHANOOOOOOO
dont worry thats normal...
LMFAO MINE LOOKS LIKE VOMIT BC/ MY MIXTURES R RLY THIN 😭
😂😂😅 same
Just mix oats with whey protein chocolate with liquid strawberry yogurt. Then just add some seeds or granola.
Also, you could use PB peanut butter powder. Way less calories. If more protein less calories is a goal for anyone.
Thank you. I never knew that was a thing.
they got it at traderjoes?

Amazing.
I was like “he looks familiar” and it’s the MASTERCHEF

Right? At ALDI or LIDL you can find milk drinks with 35 gr of protein for a euro 😭

Add some protein powder.
Can swap out the peanut butter for powdered to get 21g for 350 calories, or add protein powder
Two servings of non fat Greek yogurt is 200 calories, less than 20g of carbs, and 34 grams of protein.
I always spread it on toast for like my own butter! But with oats!!!
Oh exactly what I needed for my Christams treats.

Can we skip yoghurt😢

Yeah, and where does this protein coming from… a tablespoon of Greek yogurt?
@michellepond465 I agree if protein is your main goal like mine it's better to use protein powder in your overnight oats

You can't taste them. They're very good for you, though.

18g of protein but like 500 calories. Terrible ratio

You can gain or lose weight with any food. If you’re in a calorie surplus you’ll gain. If you’re in a calorie deficit you’ll lose weight.
