Top trade trips and tricks, I always learn new skills and full information about my upcoming projects from you mate, best educational video..keep the good work up..thanks mate
This is awesome. I bought a Trade Tested shed and the instructions are pretty useless. This is slightly different but the basic principles are the same and I was able to complete the assembly of the shed without any issues.
That back corner is going to hold water after rains. When I built my shop I had the exact problem. It was at least 2’ difference. I had to grade the dirt down so it would drain and wouldn’t corrode my shop tin and flood the shop.
We bought the same kit set (slightly bigger though) and it took a good day to put it all together. First lot of rain shed was drenched through🤦🏻♀️ Not quite understanding how we could have avoided that when followed instructions to a T when putting it together. Also defeats the purpose of spending all that money and energy on a shed to only have all our tools soaking wet after the first downpour. Highly disappointed but would appreciate any insight if anyone has some as to how this happened or how we can now stop it from happening in the future?
Cheers for the Video! Sorry for the intrusion, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you tried - Mahorrla Wooden Paradise Method (probably on Google)? It is a good one of a kind guide for building better sheds and woodworking minus the hard work. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my cooworker at very last got astronomical success with it.
Thanks for the vid - one query: that's not the corner (3.49) but some few cms inside the corner. How many cms? And is it the same on the other side? It looks to be right on the corner for that one...Thanks, T

Just as a question - does anyone know if you can use the screws instead of the rivets - I am thinking of only putting up a shed temporary - and then storing it away afterwards (for easy moving).
this is less 'assembling' and more 'build from scratch with pre-cut stuff'. Seriously, how hard would it have been for you to pre-build the panels, so we only need to bolt them together for the same cost?
There's no way in hell I'd be able to do this. Its not easy as... may as well do a video of wrestling a Bengal tiger with your bare hands and concluding that is easy as!
First of all, you want to grab the tiger by the ears. Avoid the teeth, as less blood will make cleaning up later a breeze. Next, straddle the tiger and ride it like you would a horse. Use the natural aggression of the tiger and steer using the ears to slot him neatly into the cage you prepared earlier. Easy as!

Wow ! looks so easy “not” I’m just not that intelligent, or am I a builder or Sciencetest. Scienctest Pre built would be better... Forget it I’m not getting a garden shed after watching this mess

Without containment the earth will collapse and rest against the sheet metal encouraging corrosion.
Perhaps he’s keeping it to do a land scape video lol

Is the lowest edge of the is below ground level? What for?
We'd recommend installing onto a concrete pad or wooden floor planks which we also sell in store 😊 ^Cam
@@mitre10nz I don't mind but I'm asking about the shed from your video
Hi Alex. In this video the ground has been altered to make sure it is level so the shed, and concrete pad, will sit flat. ^Ryan
So how do you do it when using the wooden floor? instructions please.
Hey there, we'd suggest popping in and having a chat to the team in store about that one ^Matt
Why do you need to add rivets on the 2nd rib of top and back roof? I'm confused..
in case the wind gets under it and rips the roof off.
How do you install one of these without the concrete thingy at the bottom
Hi Joseph - Storite (the brand of shed used above) also supply Rite Wooden Floor packs which is an alternative to the concrete. Hope this helps ^Ian
I made one of these sheds. Filled it with hydro set up. Got arrested and just got out of prison.
Bugger. Hey Mitre 10 New Zealand... what can you tell us about locks?
Grats
What’s that yellow gun called??
@@SaraSara-og8qdThe yellow gun is called a rivet gun
Thank you
Can a shed be used as an office?
That depends on your needs Jason, but if you grab one big enough and grab some insulation, then you could be good to go! ^Cam
I am leaving in Widnes and I need someone to do that for me (montage) how much will u charge me to do it …. ?
Hey Sara, we'd recommend contacting someone in your area if you need help with assembly^Matt
And how do I do that where I contact someone from my area?

At start of Video....PPE....yet none used....WorkSafe Risk Assessment?
How many cuts on his hand and shards in his eyes did our hero get?
What metal did you use?
titanium
What’s that yellow fan called??
Hey there not too sure what fan you are referring to? Did you mean the riveter? ^Matt
How come he shows a Promark rivet gun and uses a Stanley??
Had to go to Bunnings to get a decent rivet gun lol.
@@KiwiPokerPlayer 🤣
Because the Promark one would've given up on the first panel?
Just as a question - does anyone know if you can use the screws instead of the rivets - I am thinking of only putting up a shed temporary - and then storing it away afterwards (for easy moving).
use rivets , they look better and are stronger
Yes you can. They are self drilling. You can also drill out the rivet heads and remove.
Nah
tristo1987 ff
do not worry this shed is temporary anyway
Key advice not given is support of the ribs when drilling - they just collapse. Shouldshow how to prevent this - support from underneath is required
Hi Graeme - Cheers for the feedback on this. I will pass it along to the team to look into further. Thanks ^Ian

Eres bueno Trabajado amigo t felizito 👍
i love how easy the plans are in *WoodBlueprints. Com* to understand and the step-by-step videos they have. Makes getting material really easy
They insisted that you had to buy the floor separately in store, costs the same as the shed itself. But this came with no instructions.
