I love Ms Walker in this one. From her style to her speaking up and bringing new life into the Lister's home. You just see the change in her right away after the trip. And watching her new wife Ms Lister very closely. Can't wait to see more of Ms Walker.😎
I found it funny that Ann Walker said “Night Fred” to Anne Lister and Fred is the name that Mariana gives to Anne Lister in the letter that Anne read to Ann and I’m glad that Ann is speaking up to Anne
Yup, I was having a hard time dealing with her being so mamby-pamby, now she's grown a(n albeit small), 'set'.
Ms Walker is quite the compelling character! The woman Anne Lister is chasing in season 1, struggling just to survive--now she's definitely growing and evolving in season 2, coming into her own, love to see it!
@kelseysmith yeah I viewed the "Fred" comment as passive aggressive, Ann is not okay with everything going on with Mariana imo.

5:49 I agree with you that what Eliza Priestly said was the lowest of low thing to say like how can you say that about someone in your family it proper got to me throughout the whole of the episode. 9:29 how can Anne ask her wife Ann that is it alright to let Anne’s ex Mariana visit even though Anne’s married/committed to Ann Walker. 10:06 the way Ann is like yes she can visit but she’s got murder on her mind as you said 😂😂
Yes I was shocked at Eliza Priestly. Probably shouldn't be but I was. Anne Lister certainly has some jugs to ask Ann about Mariana staying with them....this should be an interesting next couple of episodes...

Yes, she is getting better and better at breaking the fourth wall! Ep 3 was so vulnerable too, where she's expressing frustration at Mariana having passed up the chance to be in Ann's position.

You just pop up in my liste and I love your review! It's funny how fast we forget that this was in 1830 simething, we want them to be out and be in love and have more support... Sally made an incredible job on that serie, we feel them as it is today, but also show all the wall their were in front of them. Thank for your work and see you in the next one :-)

Yes, it's easy to forget that they're in the 1800s because both Anne and Ann are being. so courageous and open about their relationship, it makes the fact that this actually happened even more amazing. I love watching them battle their foes and fight. for the life they want, it's quite inspiring!
