Also have to say my wife was listening to me watching your video and said " he is the kind of mate i would want to fish with. Educational helpful and fun" reason she mentioned it is because on our honeymoon 26 years ago she still remembers how terrible our experience was on a charter we did because how terrible the capt and mate was to us. I recently subbed your channel so i am going through a lot of your stuff. Just the saltwater stuff that is. I used to love freshwater fishing when i was a kid but when i hooked my first saltwater fish i gave all my freshwater stuff to my nephew. I am salt only now. Just stay the same as your an awesome person and a joy to watch on video.

I fished here last year and caught nothing
I went there last week and people fishing for togs before the the season is even open. Lots of trash and fish remain 😢

Best shore fishing for tog in that area. Try the breakwaters and deeper rocky shores like the south shore of Newport. The bridge can be good but that is more like catfishing for tog. You can use jigs and rigs on conventional in other spots.
