The little tid-bit about the bass' pressure point to grab them is exactly why I watch this channel. Little bits of knowledge in every video. Thanks Tyler!!
"Talkin bout that shake and bake, without the shake there's no bake" Taylor 2024. Man you gotta keep this kid around. He's so funny and he out fished you too!
I caught a 4 lb large mouth for my first fish in a retention pond yesterday using this channel. Swim Jig black and blue blue gill look with a bait caster
Cool! I am a dedicated pond fisherman myself (for now.) I’m thankful for them because I can fish almost daily! Don’t sleep on the ponds, there are some big ones lurking around. I looked up your clothing line, not surprised to hear you are a brother in Christ. I was kinda wondering, you give off a good vibe. Keep up the great work!
Watching this I can definitely tell I’ve learned a lot from TRF. I also had been using a jig that looked nearly identical, color and style as Taylor, and I caught 2 back to back. So builds confidence taking what I learn from this channel and seeing obvious improvement and success as well as coming back to the channel and have made the same decisions.
They are super dope. Built the way I like my tackle to be set up. Soft plastics up above, hard baits stacked horizontal below. And with my discount code, you can save some money on it!
Hello Tyler, so I’ve been watching your UA-cam videos for a good while now because I’ve been fishing for a long time but I’ve always struggled with knowing if I’m using the right combos . so as of right now, I have two bait casters. Both of them are on 7 foot medium heavy fast action rods. One of the bait casters is a 7.8:1 and the other is a 6.1:1. I mainly use the 7.8:1 for soft baits like worms and I also use it for jigs. I use the 6.1:1 for basically everything else like hard plastics. So really I just want to know if I’m using those two rods for the right thing or if maybe I need to switch it up and then I was also curious as to what kind of combo do you think I should purchase next? Also, both of my bait casters are on 15 pound mono.
You should try some ponds in very remote areas, like in national parks or hunting grounds or a private pond in the wilderness. Those ponds aren't pressured at all, so the bass will likely hit anything. I love hiking through the woods and finding new secret spots
I’ve noticed at my local pond that the larger 3+lb bass provide a mushy bite sometimes. Maybe with the smaller fish I just haven’t learned that feeling as good yet
Good video, great to have a partner and breaks up the rhythm for focus. Do you have a video where you go into detail on how to tie on the different worm or soft bait setups like a texas rig, Carolina etc. Really blow up the line, maybe use colored string and how you position hook in bait. If you could direct me to or make a video that would great. Thanks your work.
Yes, search “TylersReelFishing grass”. Got plenty of videos on that. And this uncut is great: ua-cam.com/video/4pHtgyeP2m0/v-deo.htmlsi=nsrsiY3o4foRBvIf
I’ve recently been throwing stuff for confidence and I forgot about the senko 😅maybe if I just wanna catch fish I’ll throw throw something that I’m so familiar with 😂
Deep lakes park in muscatine Iowa is absolutely loaded with GIANT bass you should check it out caught multiple double digits in the past week there is 5 different pond and a good smallish lake so many options too I think you’d love it
Tyler I would love to represent your brand in a sun shirt or hoodie but you only go to size 2x any chance you will upgrade to a 3x someday? Thank you for the video content and sharing your great video content with us I’ve really enjoyed it take care and God bless.
I definitely will have a few 3X options coming soon. And I would say that the Yurei I currently have runs a bit large. May be worth trying that in 2X and returning if it doesn’t fit?
There’s no right answer to that question. Gotta become good at fishing all of em, and knowing when certain situations dictate the use one over the other
@@josephsmith5526 so I searched EVERYWHERE in plano and couldnt find it so i started branching out and looking in surrounding cities and BAM! its called Sies Lagos Number 5 . its actually in Wylie but its a very small town close to Plano
He will be in many more 100 ponds for sure 👍🏼 And 100 rivers would be tough man. Much easier to dissect a pond than a river. River would be a full day thing
A true fishermen that tug is definitely a drug. It was funny to watch you see your buddy catching but you not. And then too see you get that first fish change your whole mood. Love the channel definitely one of my top bass fishing channels.
Soft plastics are soooo boring but is literally the ONLY way i can catch bass here in Ohio Also never caught a bass on anything else but soft plastics.😂
I don't understand the obsession with catching a big fish. Who cares if it's big or not!! You can't even control what size fish decides to bite the lure. And bigger lures don't always translate to bigger fish. That's another ignorant fishing myth!!
Dude get with your eyeglass co and have them make a good set of “fit overs”. None of the reputable companies make a set. I buy some Amazon jobbies that fit over my glasses but I want a real good set lense @tyler
Get you some MERCH here (And if you purchase within the next week I'll include a package of Mach soft plastics with your order!): nfntoutdoors.com/
For the hundredth pond you should go fish the crimson oak pond from the bama bass channel
nah not big enough fish maximum 7 pounds in the and it’ll be like a 3 pounders body
he needs to do that for 99

Morrill sand pits in nebraska. I caught an 8lb bass out of it last year. There are a couple 10's in there as well

No, just let yourself drift
Tyler I have been trying to find those plastic vmc hook sorters. I have seen them in a VMC ad but no other info on the site. Do you have a link?
You can only get them when you buy the hooks. I have them linked in my video description

I have 2 curious questions
1. Are o-rings really necessary for wacky/neko rigs?
2. And if so what size would be recommended for 5"-12"+
worms/senkos?
Search “TylersReelFishing wacky” here on YT.
2. I usually just buy several sizes and one fits haha

pond 100 should be. long lake park, oviedo, Florida. it’s the only pond i’ve seen an actual 13lb bass come from.
I’ll add it to my list!

Hey now
😂😂😂😂😂😂
agreed bass hit funny were i live. sometimes i think im pulling threw grass. then feel the pull and try and set and there gone spit it out.
Yeah I hate that. Every now and then I'll get one that can steal my wacky worm out of the o-ring, just infuriating.😂

Bait ain't the entertainment. It's the slam. The hookset, the fight, figuring out what it takes to catch the fish in your area.
You might as well get in the water. Let me throw a couple baits and you tell me wich is the most entertaining.
That's the dumbest stuff I've ever seen.
