- Many fishermen hope to share their love of angling with the next generation, and in doing so, inspire a life-long fishing partner. That's exactly what happened when Captain Joe Aiello introduced his daughter, Coral to fishing at an early age. Today, the two run Sara Star Charters out of Newport, Rhode Island. In mid-November, Chris Megan joins this father-daughter fishing team for a day of tog fishing.

What a great day of fishing. Glad we were able to connect with you and look forward to fishing with you again! 😉
Same here!
Great video - really looking for that family connection with my wife and our kayaks - can’t wait until my grandson gets old enough to to fish with me
I tried to watch all the episodes. I learned something every time.
Love your channel and videos!
Dad calls her Coral Rose. Great name for a daughter!
Hey Chris, Thanks for uploading these episodes to UA-cam, even though I'm in southeastern CT we can't watch the Sunday morning show. My cable company no longer airs NBC sports Boston. Keep up the great work. 👍
Wow this was definitely a great video, an wow is she an awesome first mate an even Captain material, that family bond is amazing, an I’ve seen Joe fish with Mr John Skinner if I’m not mistaken.. but awesome Togs looked like a great day of fishin, I can’t wait to get out there myself...🤙🏼🤙🏼
I love me some early season black fish
Thank you for celebrating family! Loved the video.
Tautog is on the top of my menu. Thanks, i enjoyed this segment.
This was awesome. Such a great video, Coral is an awesome fisherman. My daughter Kay is the "K" in M&K Outdoors and she is one helluva fisherman already at 12. Like Coral, she has aspirations of being a mate and is gonna be going into the junior mate program next year here in NJ, so this video was awesome to see. Great video as always guys!
@Caspian Caspian Yup, I've been watching on Kaldrostream for years myself :D
Awesome video once again

Always look forward to the Spring tog run. Saw 1 Dandelion bloom and seed phase alrdy. Let go - Water temps heading in the right direction. Everything is two week early in 2021. -tight linz
Im surprised they havnt tightened the blackfish regs yet. Im hoping they do soon before years of recovery comes due. I bet blackfish has trippled in popularity in the last 5 years and it will probably double that in the next 3.
populations still pretty healthy
Joseph mannix is a grade a scoozy
😻
Hi Chris, can you tell me which exact model of ghost hunter is the daughter using? I really like this rods, want to get one, thanks
Sup here in Rhode Island lol. Is there a difference between tautog and blackfish? Great daughters raised fishing. Hunt too? Lol. Mine do. Awesome day. Sounds like great boyfriend. That's a nice fish. Good fishing tho. Like the story. Imagine catching the one you tagged lol. Ty tc
"After a while you can tell these fish when they come off the bottom but these fish with that tail are so powerful." What you talkin about Willis? "What's nice about this is when you bring young kids out here they want to feel a bent rod and that happens pretty quick when you get them chewing... ." Say what? Tog are notoriously tricky to hook, even for experienced adults. More Jimmy Fee please.
Great video, although those fish should be on ice, bled and brained!
First lol
No.
