My VBB engine is based on LML reed valve cases. But i use a full circle crankshaft. Fitted with a si 24 ER, a 177 pinasco and a Sip road exhaust. My engine has a good torque. I made another engine with same cases but with a quattrini m1x, MRP inlet, boyesen, worked crankshaft, vespatronic, 30 phbh, PipeDesign Bullet exhaust. A beast. These cases are very good parts.
+Sylvain Grand yes it is! U cant go wrong with these engine cases (way better than young and current piaggio cases) and setups. Thats a similiar one: ua-cam.com/video/B7K5de-2HHU/v-deo.html but with megadella box exhaust as its a city scooter and full circle 60mm crank
Hi there! I have LML reed valve case with original LML reed valve, VMC Super G, SI 24, Mazzucchelli full-circle 60mm stroke. I need to do all this modification for it?
Hello, I live in Brazil, I have a 200cc wasp that only has one admission window, is it possible to rework this cylinder with two more windows? Do you know of any tutorial on youtube that can open more windows in the cylinder? I anticipate my thanks.
I have a question, here people do porting job on cylinder only. They don't touch the intake or engine case. Can you tell what is the difference if we just do the porting job on cylinder only
Depends on the type. Reed or rotary. Rotary is quite limited if you dont extend the intake timings, so it kindof stays just pnp only. Reed... Theoretically it doesnt matter, when the intake i open, but the lml case does have pretty closed intake area, kindof only between the cheeks its open but not around the crank. BUT with croppes compromise carb si its better to let the intake original, as it cant really handle too much reed valve power
@@FreakMoPed8 mine is having reed valve,150 cc two stroke engine. So based on my engine, the job which you have done in this video is required for performance?
@@navneetsingh7641 The intake window is large enough for a 30 mm carb with huge reed valves. Tested with a 172 m1x and big PipeDesign exhaust. I use today these cases with a full circle crankshaft. It works fine but the compression in the cases is high !
@@FreakMoPed8 can you please share the part number from Sip, i need the one without oil pump. There are so many brands and options....unable to choose correct one☹. The carburetor should work fine with 177 setup as well
What’s your opinion of carbon fiber reeds? I read posts about them failing/chipping and causing damage to the top end. Should I just plan on replacing them every 2000 miles or so. Current setup. 2008 Stella, BGM177, 226 piped exhaust, SI24G carb, 57mm serie pro crank, GGR carbon hot reeds with center-bar cut out. I can’t put the stock ones back in since I cut the center bar out. Thanks
why asking? no i wount, i dont like reed valve engines ;o) rotary valve is fine for largeframe, no reed valve needed, u can easy realize 20hp at the wheel and more, but is there a need for more? and if the rotary valve is damaged simply let it be fixed, way cheaper than all that reed valve hardware u need. pro: valve is near the crank, thats good, most of them are too fare away (mrp, mmw etc) but is it high enough by thinking of that the carb will sit on the cylinder? looks really low...
Just asking because i have bought that reed valve kit and a seirie pro flowed crank by worb5 longstroke and a BBS exhaust. I wasnt satisfied with the standard carb to be honest i just couldnt get it right.
Nikolas Tonic bbS: pls strengthen it, cause it will crack ottherwise. ingenious exhaust but sadly really cheap and badly produced. worb5 crank: check the weldseam it likes to break, he doesnt weld so good. so u had rv didnt get the si straight and then switched to reed valve instead? cause the malossi is for px engines or is there a LML version too? the si is perfect for rotary valve and easy to setup, if not there is another problem fuel supply mostly as well as the old oilsucker problem. what kind of cylinderkit are u using with which timings?

No not necessarily. If u open intake like that (and optimize cyl) u need bigger carb, si is barely setable anymore
Nice Video Mista. Thanks for your attitude and how about carburator 26:26 sl for top speed ?
Si 24 = 26 =28 they all do have the same performance.
@@FreakMoPed8 thanks Mista 🙏

it also performs without, but better WITH ;)

Hi would you recommend to keep the auto lube with a 177 / 187 kit or premix ?
whats the rest of the setup. which crank, which exhaust?

Yes. Works. With oilpump

Si24 and standard si air filter

Use reeds stop plates and they should last
Thank you
what cdi on 2016 lml ,mine is restricted to 7000rpm
buy a new ignition
I forgot to tell you i use a bgm superstrong 24/65 and a 36 tooth 4th gear.
Will you be posting any videos with the malossi x360 reed valve kit for a px with a 210 malossi or something similar?
Cheers anyway

anyways its not so important which manifold u use but how u machine the case, & thats always the same

Is lml 5 port compatible with aftermarket PX cylinder kit?
no. engine case has to be adjusted.
