    Have the parts and am going to do this. Just curious why you didn’t use the original metal plate ?

    Great video, thanks!. Do you have any video showing assembly of these valves in an older vespa Rally 200 with wasted rotary valve?

    Great video I'm going to do this. I really want to keep the original style carb for the auto lube 👍. Have you any experience using a 60mm Stroke Crankshaft? because I'm thinking of getting the pinasco 177 kit with 60mm Stroke

    • @esperoquesi
      @esperoquesi 5 років тому

      Naturally the autolube is geared for the stock setup. You can continue to use it with the 177 and stroked crank your speaking about but I would ditch it for premix since you'll be running a thirstier cylinder.

      @fabiotiburzi 3 роки тому

      You can use 60 mm stroke cranck, but with 110 mm conrod or you will not have power over 7000 rpm

    Great videos! I just picked up a 05 LML 150 and tearing it down now. My plan is to rebuild the engine (new bearings, seals, clutch, etc) with a little performance; 166, 24 carb, race crank, pipe, and some port matching. I was wondering about the reeds. Would you recommend your Boyesen reed upgrade w porting for my project? I was planning on just leaving them stock but this sounds pretty cheap and easy. Any comments would be appreciated- Thanks!

      "Why not?", right? " :D
      If you do the Malossi 166, you will appreciate the low rpm power

      Great! Would you happen to know the part number for those reeds and retailer that you recommend?

    • @ThatScooterThing

      Howard Johnson Boyesen 605

      Have you had any problems with removing the stock screws on the LML reed assembly? It seems that the Philips heads on my mine are partially filled with liquid metal or equivalent. I might have to destroy the screws to remove them. I see that most reed replacements don't come w screws. Please let me know your thoughts. Cheers!

    Hi do you know if the px200 carburettor auto lube gears would work with the lml auto lube ?

    • @ThatScooterThing
      @ThatScooterThing  5 років тому +1

      Good question. I actually have no idea... Old P200 and LML are def. not the same

    • @fabiotiburzi
      @fabiotiburzi 3 роки тому +1

      Yes but you have to cut a notch inside the lube so that you can open all the throttle

    Hi, is there any noticeable difference in power between normal monopetal ones and the Boyesen ones?

    • @ThatScooterThing
      @ThatScooterThing  5 років тому

      Yes there is, a lot stabler revs in higehr rpm. I found it works well with a lrager cylinder too.
