We never see it likes again those long gone Swinging Sixties.
This is so amazing. Because the song literally means: everyone keeps on dancing. So by the end (of the song that never ends) the entire audience is up too! That drum roll and yeah baby we are off...again! Thank you Voodoo Beat!
I'm glad you like it. It really is a great piece
This clip never fails to put a smile on my face.
Great! Girls are dancing very well.
Ya lo creo
Hard to believe thats Jimmy Hart of WWF wrestling fame. You go ,cat!!
It's truly live.....no BS lip synching here.
Everything that is good about rock and roll is in this video. Thank you.
It's true, I'm glad you like it. You're welcome
@@VoodooBeatnot one moment of pretense,
'Dancin' and a-PRANCIN'--so that's what they've been singing. I've never been able to tell till now.
Jimmy Hart before the Mouth of the South....Wow....🤯....My Mind is Blown
No wonder
I remember watching all this on tv like it were just yesterday. Those were the good ole' days !👍😊
😉
went to school with Brue Bowles and Larry Raspberry Memphis Tn
How many are with me when I say EFF MTV ha ha !! That Shindig clip RULES!
I'm 66 I use to dance all night with all this cracy music but it was fun
Music is fun, in addition to art
This was our generation at its peak...the Boomers of the 40s....the fun, the vitality, the " 1,000 dances" and NOT all drugged up until the CA early 70s and "love" hippie era had totally taken hold.
Looks like that was a blast to be at. Does anyone else think the singer kinda looks like the actor Pedro Pascal?
What a lovely audience
Dave Clark 5 lookalikes.....nuttin wrong wid dat
Nice lookin guys w talent!
I've seen a lot of go-go dancer's and those there are the best...
They really were very good
Really there won't be a decade like the "Swinging Sixties".
Jimmy hart was in this band
Even the mouth of the south Jimmy hart
This was originally by the Avantis in 1963.
I preferred Hullabaloo my favorite show when I was a teenager.
Great song
mouth of the South brought me here
Welcome
He actually joined the group after they recorded this, though is usually in the performance clips
wow, live, not lip-synced (at least, it sounds that way) . Guitarist is Larry Raspberry, who go on to form Larry Raspberry & the Highsteppers.
Also in the group is the legendary wrestling manager, THE MOUTH OF THE SOUTH' JIMMY HART.
Live my ass. No cords connected to the guitars and no amps.
@@rwmcgeesr Vocals is live
I Think local Shindig band is playnig and just pics are live. You cen see drummer do fill but sound is different. But its not studio version.
Yes. Just vocal mic live. (Sometimes was done on Ed Sullivan too)
No wonder everybody from that generation has back & neck problems...LOL! Goodness sake, that looks painful!!! Haha...probably why all of y'all were so fit, too!
😂
