100% you have been the most useful source for most things alfa as of late. love from Australia!
Hi Bluudy,what a technical video,with modern technology it seemed awkward,with a new regulator it's working,top work.
Yeah for sure. Cheers dude.
Great vid keep up the good work 😎👍
Great video! I'm trying to replace my rear one currently, the window is clipped onto the regulator and I can't seem to get it off. It's a plastic lug and when I push it through the mating hole in the window with a screwdriver it just keeps pushing back in. Have you done one of these?
Mine failed on a 147 passenger side. I wonder if there is a common fault here ? I've yet to fit mine.
Another great video. 👍👍
Well Dane men, great job, greets from the Nederlands 👍🏻
Thank you!
I saw your supra the other day it’s absolutely gorgeous 😍😍 I didn’t know this but you live literally 1 minute away from my house haha I live on Swincar and I drove up your road the other day to pick a mate up and recognised your cars haha.
Haha brilliant :)
The ratchets are brill arent they? Bought one after your review, dont know how I managed without now!
That's brilliant. It makes life soooooo easy!
Watching from the premier inn Leeds Bradford airport lol but great video as ever mate looking forward to meeting you my to your belly as your so bloody tall lol
That last bit made no sense lol
That came out all wrong it was meant to say face to face but in my case it would be my face to you your belly lol....yet again I messed up the joke lol
@@thayes1105 lol tit
14:41 I haven't seen you to do the seal between the door and the new replacement panel. So rainwater will wet your car floor now because the seal is comprised.
Why did you buy the regulator with the panel second hand, and not just a new regulator for 36euro? Thanks
This is a long time ago now. And the cars been sold a long time. There was people saying that the cheap regulators that you mention the clips break quickly on them. And that an original OEM one will last longer. Plus it was easier to fit.
Small correction: it's called "Sportwagon". Otherwise great video, keep on doing what you do!👍🏻
Lol I was being more American than Italian lol
Order the new style badge :)
Good useful video. However you cut one or two most technical parts and I'm not an expert in fixing such window regulator. So I hope, I'll manage :) How do I lower/raise the window if it's on the driver's side that I need to change the window regulator? (the raise/lower window button will obviously be dismantled and there is no other button I can use to raise/lower the window on the driver's side...) Thank you and best regards
Connect the switches back on when you need to move the window? You don't need the door card to be fitted just the plug on the buttons.
@@bluudysgarage Ok thank you
My car is LHD and I have problem with my left front window. It goes all way down, but when raising it, it makes some sound every half second or so, and it always stays like 2cm open, so I need to raise it with hands. Is this sign of bad window regulator?
Yep for sure.
@@bluudysgarage well, thanks for this tutorial how to remove it and change it, probably nothing else to do in these days of quarantine :) so I'll go and change it... is 20 euro too much for it? Somehow I think it is cheap
@@WarlockSRB if that's secondhand that's about right price. Yeah not a lot to do at moment
@@bluudysgarage what is the price for rear trunk light with reverse in your country? Planing on making dual reverse lights on my car, but sadly cannot find anywhere RHD back lights. Need it for SW Ti 08' if there are any differences...
@@WarlockSRB you would be best contacting a alfa dealership or a parts stockists. Not me lol
I used to have a 156 Veloce and the independent specialist I used told me that the problem with Alfas is not design it’s about making parts out of cheap shit. eg. Timing belt pulleys made from plastic... to get the badges to fit you need to do a bit of research especially if they come from eBay.
You got that link for that channel dude cant find it 🤷♂️
ua-cam.com/users/zedalon also in the description.
Yoooo Is that...Is that.... A SUPRAAAAAAA
Did you know that they designed the 159 with thicker glass to eliminate wind noise.
My alfa 159 have rivets instead of bolts
👍🏻😁
How's the job going
Not enough work to be fair. Need something else
@@bluudysgarage that's shite to hear mate looked promising and beneficial to you and your channel onwards n upwards mate
@@richardmackenzie7231 indeed, but something will come up.
I got a 159 2.4 TI the heads cracked and I'm at a loss of what to do with the old girl.
Oh no! Donate it to me so I can fix it on the channel haha
Head cracks are standard on the 2.4 now pretty much
You can get a 156 175 hp head and rockers on it if you can find one
Yeah it was all to do with a blocked dpf apparently. (Back pressure) it's actually cheaper to replace the engine as the time taking the head apart and getting a new one built tested etc outways the cost of just dropping the engine out
@@bluudysgarage where are you located??
