Hi! I've a Opel Corsa C 1.4 16v the engine start good, any codes or ligths on the dashbord appers, but after 15 or 20 minutes after the start and when the engine get temperature 90°c the engine cut out, after that, I trying to restart it, but the half of the dashbord is off... no check engine light, no oil, no inmo, nothing light are ON... after that 1 hour and when the engine is cold or warm, the engine start again normally. Thanks for all the tips , my neighbors pickup truck shut off and he immediately towed it to the mechanic shop . I told him it may be something simple and you can fix it yourself . He tried to tell me his mechanic is honest . I'm sorry I'm still laughing about that . We have some shady mechanics in this neighborhood . It's been over 4 days now and he still doesn't have his truck fixed . I had a similar experience and fixed mine the same day . My problem was the ignition module inside the distributor cap , cost $45.00 and I have my truck working and it's still working . hello, I'm just now reading the comments and looking for similar problems, I just found the same problem as mine, I have a vw touran 2009 bls, the car works normally, starts normally, does not lose power, everything is ok, but after 5 km it just shuts off, loses power on the control panel, but the lights and they still work like the door locks, after a couple of attempts to turn the key nothing happens and then suddenly it turns on and it's all in a circle again!? the question now is whether it is losing power due to a defective sensor or a defective relay, or is it possible that the computer is the problem.???
What about the throttle body and sensor.? A common issue as cleaning these are not part of a general service and corbon can clog and restrict air flow. My Toyota tarago that I bought very cheap cost me $23 dollars and half an hours work to fix.
Sure, it's an ordinary OBD2 Bluetooth adapter which connects to the app on the smartphone (in this case, Torque, which you can download from Store). Which car do you have?

I have a 2015 Mazda 3 and the engine shut off when stopping at a red light. The dashboard lights stayed on when the engine shut off and the check engine light and battery light switched on. When I press the ignition button to start the car again, it keeps cranking but dorsnt start. When I do the ignition 2-3 times back to back to force the car to start, the car then finally starts and the issue doesnt happen again for weeks or sometimes months. Any idea what could be the problem? Im due to replace the spark plugs soon (in the next 5k km) and I put a fuel system cleaner in the tank in hopes that if there was a clog in the fuel system it could clean it out. But I'm hoping you have a suggestion I could try to figure out whats happening. I'd like to add that the car battery is 3 months old only and relatively new.
2002 camry, 240k miles. Cut off while driving, no crank no start. Dash lights and headlights on. No blown fuses, no visibly burnt relays. Any thoughts?
hey man same happened to my 2001 camry, had me trippin for 2months,if it has a dealer installed remote start and alarm, you can try un plugging all the non factory shit under dash by fuses and plug together back the factory plug end s that match up ,if fixed mine after hours of checking relays ,fuses,alt etc. that remote start starts doing funky shit when it fries
I'm here due to my 2006 buick lacrosse, I replaced the battery a day ago, the day of replacement all was good the next day traveled to work with no problem, leaving work the first red light car stalled with no notice, my dash still illuminated. Thanks for this lesson at least I can talk sensibly to my mechanic now about the problem. I believe it's dirt and clogged as the car was parked in a dusty open garage. The lights don't dim etc so I've narrowed it down to a clogged system as it starts strong when restart, Thank You.
I have a similar problem. Mine runs smoothly for a while in the morning but then it'll switch off and come on after say half a second randomly while driving. It's automatic honda brio . Did u get help with yours?
My Peugeot 206 1.1 will shut down and then restart as if there's no problem and go for ages and then do it again but the last time it did the engine warning light was flashing I think the dash went off but not 100 percent sure I'll check the fault coads first it happened again tonight I will check the ignition switch first could also be a blocked fuel filter but I don't think it would start up straight away If the fuel filter was blocked ?if the ignition switch was faulty it would not bring on the engine warning light would it ? when the car shut down or would it ? The ignition crank sensor would be a problem with the engines running all the time would it? or can a problem show up now and again as with my car ? But its not a big job to change it and not to costly for that part my cars 22 years old so it could be the ignition switch connection's worn out 🤔 and I don't want to lose her just hope it's not the ECU as you can't just change them as there linked to the key for that car with the transponder in it I'll have to take my time and not panic with this one it's a right pain fantastic video you have given me some good ideas to try never thought about the ignition switch could be the problem 🤔💯👍
Hi..i have a suzuki s-cross 1.3 diesel engine, and when driving with the AC on, and after few kilometers, after turning off the AC and when i accelerate to change the gear, then engine sunddenly stop itself and it can't start the engine and when i switch on and off the ignition then only the engine can start up, when i switch on the ignition the fuel pump work(heat) only the after 5/6 sec then only the engine can start, and the check engine light show up, but after shutting down the engine for an hour it can start properly and the check engine light disappears..i took the car to a mechanics there they change the fuel fiter, air filter, clean the intercooler, Egr but after few days the same problem happens again..what could be the problem..please help me

My car turns off when the revolutions go below 1000. If i go too slow when im stopping on a stop sign or a red light it will shut off and i just put in park and turn it on again and it always works. Whenever i felt like it was about to stall i would step on the gas JUST A TINY BIT and by doing that it wouldnt turn off. maybe check your idle air control valve, it may be dirty or faulty. you can clean it and if still persists then replace it. check online for the process on whatever car you have
I went to AutoZone and my car read a lot of codes and it was saying that I had to relive the brake sensors and also the coolant sensor, could that also cause a car to stop at a stop and or when your trying to accelerate the car but it won’t go?
very late but if ur trying to accelerate and the car wont go, if ur car is in a limp kind of thing, then its probably something involved with EPC or throttle body, thats jus frm my eperience

Funny enough I changed my 4 ignition coils, bought a brand new set of iridium-tipped spark plug 3 months ago, still I'm still having the same problem. Occasional stumbling. It runs fine sometimes and starts all the time even after stalls. When I look at my exhaust I see small amounts of black smoke coming out when it is vibrating. But the smoke disappears when it runs normal. We are thinking towards the direction of Crank position sensors, Injectors and fuel pump. I wasted money on ignition coils and the problem still remains. There was a time last week, just before I changed the coils, the car was vibrating and RPM was really low. I applied some gas and it didn't move from its position and stalled severally. It's so annoying that when I scan I can't see relevant codes that I can use to fix the issue. My mechanic is just advising me to change different parts without these changes solving the problem. I'm exhausted. Any ideas?

I got an oil change and changed one of my spark plugs/ignition coils which I had got an engine code for months prior and never changed it. Once I did a little tune up it stopped immediately. Hope this helps
Hi, could you please suggest what could be the issue with my car: car keeps turning power off randomly while driving. mechanic can't figure it out. recently changed engine breather and pcv valve, later mechanic changed crankshaft position sensor. problem persists. computer won't show errors I can drive 30-50 miles - seems ok. then engine turns off all of a sudden and this is followed by backfire (?!). when this happens it won't start right away - need to wait a little. sometimes a minute, sometimes 10 minutes I have an old e36 318ti m44 compact with 130000 miles /210000 km
looking for helpo. 2014 4 runner loses power once a month. Driving normal then it loses power, I can stear and break but with no power assist. No gas/acceleration and the traction control module goes crazy. Pop into neutral and turn off and away I go. MPG was an issue so I changed the Mass Airflow Sensor and its better. No codes are sent and Toyota has no clue.
93 Toyota Corolla....i replaced fuel filter. Doesnt have a crankshaft position sensor...... could it be the fuel pump?? Or that im outta gas now?? The car stopped when i was driving down the road. Okay so look, my car only turns off when the ac is on and I am parked or idle. It shuts the engine off and struggles to turn back on. Check out your ignition switch also!! Have you had problems with it or keys, and obviously check all your battery connections and grounds including chassis ground and ground to frame or unibody,. How old is your battery there is always a month/year on side of battery when manufactured its a round circle and example, 3/22 or2/20, you get it but remember this is when the battery was made and ready for service. Just some simple stuff to rule out and most important of all double check anyone's work who have loosened or tightened stuff in the repair process and if they have disconnected plug-ins on electrical and look over those too. Maybe you can help me? I have a 92 dodge van with this issue. Has happened maybe once every 2 months. Id top off the oil and it would run with no problems. It happened again now, and itll start, run fine for 5-10 seconds, then start sputtering out and shut off

My 89 corvette stopped in the middle of the road, i already had a bad battery so i had to jump the vehicle and it started right up and was running good when idling, but when i start giving it gas it sputters, meaning it gives gas and then it wont and it will repeat till i stop and when i stop it will turn off i believe it could be a spark plug or a broken wire, if anyone has any other ideas please feel free to give me your input, Thanks.
My 2008 Chrysler 300 2.7 shuts off randomly like 3 times a month when i come to a stop. But would start back up like nothing happened. No Codes Anywhere the mechanic told me. He had my car for 2 days and said since it didnt do it while he was driving he's clueless. I just Changed the Trottle Body Sensor and 2 day later it shuts off again. Im so sterssed.
My Mazda 3 is doing the same thing right after they have disconnected and reconnected the crankshaft sensor plug, I'll try to find out if this sensor or plug is the reason behind this issue and will keep you updated, maybe it's gonna be the solution to your problem also
I dont think he covered why the engine would shut off, just as i rapidly accelerated. Was on a 2 lane hyway and the car in front of me started to show way down. I had enough time to change lanes and get around, before the next oncoming car, and i had an suv on my butt, because of the slow down. I hit my signal and stepped on the gas to pass and poof, car shut off, my dash lit up like a christmas tree, and i lost power steering, i was able to get it to the shoulder, but the guy behind me nearly rear-ended me too. i find it strange that the car ahead of me seemed to slow so fast for no apparent reason too. I sat there for a min letting my heart settle, then thought i would try to start. It started fine and i drove it back home. I was on my way to see my mom at her nursing home. my car is a 2009 nissan versa. I recently had the shifter cable replaced too.
What can cause a no spark problem? fuel pressure is ok, I changed the crankshaft sensor but still nothing. It's an Opel Omega B 1998 model 2.0Ltr Exotec Engine

If it was the crankshaft position sensor wouldn't the engine be continually misfiring and generally running like a pig? My car runs really sweet then stops suddenly and sometimes won't do a thing when you try to restart it. I think it's a dodgy Electrical Ignition Switch.
My E90 just switched off and turned all the lights off any solution u know??even the key is locked on the ignition and it can't come out bcs the car is off

Help:( Bmw e46 318i N42 b20 engine.. Shuts off when driving, normally when taking off from a green light or when it needs a lot of power. Then it like, loses the power and completely shuts off, dash lights are all on. I turn the car back on, sometimes it will turn on perfectly fine and then do the same thing again and sometimes it will be hard to start and idle very roughly and then i will turn it off and on again and then its completely fine! I think i will check the fuel pump next, S1B2 lambda Heizung code came on but i don't think the car would turn off from a bad lambda? I think this code is there because of the problem that is happening elsewhere.. I cleaned the throttle body butterfly and the maf sensor already. I think i should check the spark plugs too. Help appreciated!
Those engines are known to have issues with crankshaft position sensors and sporadic signal loss. Especially if it suddenly cuts off, and restarts fine afterward. Does it ever happen that briefly shudders on acceleration while warming up?
Hey.. i'm having this issue. It happen to me 2 times in the last 4months. Also happens that now and then cranks but does not start unless I insist with the ignition for a prolonged time (5sec or more). This can happen whenever. Sometimes in cold sometimes after 30min drive just decides to not start when trying to turn it on again. I have read with OBD machine and no errors were found and fuel inputs injectors have normal values. Timing belt and alternator belt were replaced last week as well as all filters and oils. MAF sensor was also cleaned. My batery is new as well. Alternator is reading well so thats good too. Its driving me crazy because i cannot find the issue. No errors are showing. Any ideas? Bought a Fuse but i'm waiting for the car to fail again so i can replace it and see if it fixes. Should the ignition conector failing trigger an error on OBD?
@@LeutrimKapllani hey .. yes i did. I've tri ed everything then went to check the fuel pipes conecting the fuel filter to the engine and they were swapped by mistake. They had no colour todistinguish one from the other. Both were balck and made of ruber so my mechaninc must have swapped them last time he did the maintenance.
That will definitely help especially if it is around any kind of fuse or relays. That fuse isn't blown. Of course, the corrosion won't let the power get to it to blow it. 🧐😆

Ooh, how I wish i came across this video earlier before i spent all my three months earnings trying to fix the exact same problem of car shutting off while driving! We did a lot of guess work until we ended up replacing almost everything! Although that problem seem to have disappeared several new ones have emerged! Currently we are dealing with rough idling which lead to a complete shut down of the engine. It is a Mazda Tribute 4cylinder, YF engine, 2003. What need we to check? Please help!

I hv same problem in 2012 Sylphy. Car just suddenly shut off while driving at speed ~30-50km/hr. I hv try error and change few part, crank shaft sensor, knock sensor, spark plug, and yet still happened intermittent. Lastly, i change the fuel pump. I hope this is the culprit cause car suddenly shut off....Ady drived 200km and still under monitoring. Wish me good luck !
Please help. I've purchased a free new and and even KIA took $200 and said I need to buy a $17K motor. Right. Not $1,700. K vexed because the car robs good. It cuts off and needs a jump and will only run until the charge is gone out of the battery. I've purchased several alternator too. I thought Kia would fix it or at least point to a specific component not an entire long engine block. AutoZone test mention can and crank shaft which I've purchased but everyone refuses to put them in. They state my problem is electrical as if the sensors aren't electrical. The result is I can only drive as far as the battery is charged so I bring the battery in the house and put it on a charger. I keep the jump box with me.. The car warms me that's it's going to stop because my dash shows a[ic of the battery. Moments later, ABS and ECS lights come on and then the fuel and RPM instrumentation needles goes dead. Kia said I have sludge in the oil and the trouble codes were cleared. I suspect the because the check engine light didn't come on while traveling to the shop, they just went off AutoZone paper work. I've seen O2 Sensors cause a car to suddenly overheat, but never seen any other sensor fault issues. Please help. What's wrong with my car. There's no communication between the and battery.
If it is like my Nissan it may have a fuse blown on the positive post side . Or something may be pulling power from it while it's parked. I pulled the negative post off on my van and it didn't drain it. But that's a bandaid. Old school way to test if alternator is working. Take positive post off and if it shuts down alternator is not working properly. When doing so turn car of before reconnecting post back to battery. One of thing is to go to is fuse box and check any fuse or relay that may keep power going to battery. Use fuse or relay that is to something that is not needed but will be good so you can replace it later. Like power seat or heated mirror or the like. Not a ECM or ECU. They go to the brain of the auto. All car's have one , wish all people did. 😂 😉
My 2020 zl1 suddenly stopped sucking gas ,I was going 75 mph , I had at least 3/4 of a tank ,i pulled over ,it would not restart, the engine light was on , I went to the trunk and disconnected and reconnected the battery, got in, and it started right away and I made it 200 miles home without issue, this is the second time this has happened , anyone got an idea? It's going to the shop on Wednesday, but I just wanted to know if anyone else has had this issue? The car has 19,000 miles.
Hi,My volkswagen polo 2006 is stalling when i drove around 20-30km and it will become normal if i stop and remove the car keys out. No fault codes detected during the inspection. Somebody please explain why it is happening😢
There's not a warning signal or anything... Dashboard doesn't shut down but it lags. It shows engine is running while it doesn't and after a few seconds will show no rpms. It doesn't even start again when I try to kick-start it from the movement of the car.
My car it was the relay they replaced one relay, but they put out other relays, and they were loose, so when I'd hit a bump, the fuel relay would fail then engine off. I almost scrapped the car
i have 2005 kia sportage its having poor acceleration problems and occasionally dies when taking slow turns or stopping. have a few ideas on what it might be but there is not a check engine light so therefore not sure what to start with

My car does the same thing. While stopping my car shut down and saying low fuel. With a full tank of gas. I’ve never let my gas get low. Car cut back on like nothing happened.
My girlfriend Nissan Murano has code po158 & po335...it's cuts off after running rd 15 mins then I got to mash the gas down so it will catch, an start back up..then won't start at all til 30mins til an hour..then repeat same

My 2019 Chevy Malibu shut off while driving and gas gauge went to empty, but it actually has a full tank. It also had a warning showing Service Power Steering.
Hi my Peugeot 206 driving then stop each time but it’s starting, the battery light was on, I’ve changed the alternator then the engine light turn off, but the issues is when driving it’s stopping.
I'm in the same boat but haven't fixed it yet. It probably electric wiring that your car need it fixed. I just called the Auto shop electric but they're all booked for 2 weeks. I was afraid to just change my alternator since I wasn't sure if it's the one that has a problem,also it's $245+$150 of labor.

I have a 2015 Mazda 3 and the engine shut off when stopping at a red light. The dashboard lights stayed on when the engine shut off and the check engine light and battery light switched on. When I press the ignition button to start the car again, it keeps cranking but dorsnt start. When I do the ignition 2-3 times back to back to force the car to start, the car then finally starts and the issue doesnt happen again for weeks or sometimes months. Any idea what could be the problem? Im due to replace the spark plugs soon (in the next 5k km) and I put a fuel system cleaner in the tank in hopes that if there was a clog in the fuel system it could clean it out. But I'm hoping you have a suggestion I could try to figure out whats happening. I'd like to add that the car battery is 3 months old only and relatively new.

hey man same happened to my 2001 camry, had me trippin for 2months,if it has a dealer installed remote start and alarm, you can try un plugging all the non factory shit under dash by fuses and plug together back the factory plug end s that match up ,if fixed mine after hours of checking relays ,fuses,alt etc. that remote start starts doing funky shit when it fries

Thanks for this lesson at least I can talk sensibly to my mechanic now about the problem. I believe it's dirt and clogged as the car was parked in a dusty open garage. The lights don't dim etc so I've narrowed it down to a clogged

My Peugeot 206 1.1 will shut down and then restart as if there's no problem and go for ages and then do it again but the last time it did the engine warning light was flashing I think the dash went off but not 100 percent sure I'll check the fault coads first it happened again tonight I will check the ignition switch first could also be a blocked fuel filter but I don't think it would start up straight away If the fuel filter was blocked ?if the ignition switch was faulty it would not bring on the engine warning light would it ? when the car shut down or would it ? The ignition crank sensor would be a problem with the engines running all the time would it? or can a problem show up now and again as with my car ? But its not a big job to change it and not to costly for that part my cars 22 years old so it could be the ignition switch connection's worn out 🤔 and I don't want to lose her just hope it's not the ECU as you can't just change them as there linked to the key for that car with the transponder in it I'll have to take my time and not panic with this one it's a right pain fantastic video you have given me some good ideas to try never thought about the ignition switch could be the problem 🤔💯👍

Hi..i have a suzuki s-cross 1.3 diesel engine, and when driving with the AC on, and after few kilometers, after turning off the AC and when i accelerate to change the gear, then engine sunddenly stop itself and it can't start the engine and when i switch on and off the ignition then only the engine can start up, when i switch on the ignition the fuel pump work(heat) only the after 5/6 sec then only the engine can start, and the check engine light show up, but after shutting down the engine for an hour it can start properly and the check engine light disappears..i took the car to a mechanics there they change the fuel fiter, air filter, clean the intercooler, Egr but after few days the same problem happens again..what could be the problem..please help me

My car turns off when the revolutions go below 1000. If i go too slow when im stopping on a stop sign or a red light it will shut off and i just put in park and turn it on again and it always works. Whenever i felt like it was about to stall i would step on the gas JUST A TINY BIT and by doing that it wouldnt turn off. I stopped driving it for now since im trying to figure out what the problem is but do you know what this means by any chance? Id greatly appreciate any advice on this, Thanks

maybe check your idle air control valve, it may be dirty or faulty. you can clean it and if still persists then replace it. check online for the process on whatever car you have

I went to AutoZone and my car read a lot of codes and it was saying that I had to relive the brake sensors and also the coolant sensor, could that also cause a car to stop at a stop and or when your trying to accelerate the car but it won’t go?
very late but if ur trying to accelerate and the car wont go, if ur car is in a limp kind of thing, then its probably something involved with EPC or throttle body, thats jus frm my eperience

Funny enough I changed my 4 ignition coils, bought a brand new set of iridium-tipped spark plug 3 months ago, still I'm still having the same problem. Occasional stumbling. It runs fine sometimes and starts all the time even after stalls.
When I look at my exhaust I see small amounts of black smoke coming out when it is vibrating. But the smoke disappears when it runs normal. We are thinking towards the direction of Crank position sensors, Injectors and fuel pump. I wasted money on ignition coils and the problem still remains. There was a time last week, just before I changed the coils, the car was vibrating and RPM was really low. I applied some gas and it didn't move from its position and stalled severally. It's so annoying that when I scan I can't see relevant codes that I can use to fix the issue. My mechanic is just advising me to change different parts without these changes solving the problem. I'm exhausted. Any ideas?

I got an oil change and changed one of my spark plugs/ignition coils which I had got an engine code for months prior and never changed it. Once I did a little tune up it stopped immediately. Hope this helps

looking for helpo. 2014 4 runner loses power once a month. Driving normal then it loses power, I can stear and break but with no power assist. No gas/acceleration and the traction control module goes crazy. Pop into neutral and turn off and away I go. MPG was an issue so I changed the Mass Airflow Sensor and its better. No codes are sent and Toyota has no clue.

Okay so look, my car only turns off when the ac is on and I am parked or idle. It shuts the engine off and struggles to turn back on. Check out your ignition switch also!! Have you had problems with it or keys, and obviously check all your battery connections and grounds including chassis ground and ground to frame or unibody,. How old is your battery there is always a month/year on side of battery when manufactured its a round circle and example, 3/22 or2/20, you get it but remember this is when the battery was made and ready for service. Just some simple stuff to rule out and most important of all double check anyone's work who have loosened or tightened stuff in the repair process and if they have disconnected plug-ins on electrical and look over those too. My Mazda 3 is doing the same thing right after they have disconnected and reconnected the crankshaft sensor plug, I'll try to find out if this sensor or plug is the reason behind this issue and will keep you updated, maybe it's gonna be the solution to your problem also

I dont think he covered why the engine would shut off, just as i rapidly accelerated. Was on a 2 lane hyway and the car in front of me started to show way down. I had enough time to change lanes and get around, before the next oncoming car, and i had an suv on my butt, because of the slow down. I hit my signal and stepped on the gas to pass and poof, car shut off, my dash lit up like a christmas tree, and i lost power steering, i was able to get it to the shoulder, but the guy behind me nearly rear-ended me too. i find it strange that the car ahead of me seemed to slow so fast for no apparent reason too. I sat there for a min letting my heart settle, then thought i would try to start. It started fine and i drove it back home. I was on my way to see my mom at her nursing home. my car is a 2009 nissan versa. I recently had the shifter cable replaced too.
What can cause a no spark problem? fuel pressure is ok, I changed the crankshaft sensor but still nothing. It's an Opel Omega B 1998 model 2.0Ltr Exotec Engine
Sorry to hear that, @leonnatala4776. Did you buy an OEM sensor? These engines are notorious for not liking aftermarket ones.

If it was the crankshaft position sensor wouldn't the engine be continually misfiring and generally running like a pig?

Shuts off when driving, normally when taking off from a green light or when it needs a lot of power. Then it like, loses the power and completely shuts off, dash lights are all on. I turn the car back on, sometimes it will turn on perfectly fine and then do the same thing again and sometimes it will be hard to start and idle very roughly and then i will turn it off and on again and then its completely fine!
I think i will check the fuel pump next,
S1B2 lambda Heizung code came on but i don't think the car would turn off from a bad lambda? I think this code is there because of the problem that is happening elsewhere..
I cleaned the throttle body butterfly and the maf sensor already.
I think i should check the spark plugs too.

Those engines are known to have issues with crankshaft position sensors and sporadic signal loss. Especially if it suddenly cuts off, and restarts fine afterward. Does it ever happen that briefly shudders on acceleration while warming up?

Hey.. i'm having this issue. It happen to me 2 times in the last 4months. Also happens that now and then cranks but does not start unless I insist with the ignition for a prolonged time (5sec or more). This can happen whenever. Sometimes in cold sometimes after 30min drive just decides to not start when trying to turn it on again. I have read with OBD machine and no errors were found and fuel inputs injectors have normal values. Timing belt and alternator belt were replaced last week as well as all filters and oils. MAF sensor was also cleaned. My batery is new as well. Alternator is reading well so thats good too. Its driving me crazy because i cannot find the issue. No errors are showing. Any ideas? Bought a Fuse but i'm waiting for the car to fail again so i can replace it and see if it fixes. Should the ignition conector failing trigger an error on OBD?

@@LeutrimKapllani hey .. yes i did. I've tri ed everything then went to check the fuel pipes conecting the fuel filter to the engine and they were swapped by mistake. They had no colour todistinguish one from the other. Both were balck and made of ruber so my mechaninc must have swapped them last time he did the maintenance.

Yes, that's why it's always a good idea to chech the wiring before replacing any sensors👍👍
That will definitely help especially if it is around any kind of fuse or relays. That fuse isn't blown. Of course, the corrosion won't let the power get to it to blow it. 🧐😆

Ooh, how I wish i came across this video earlier before i spent all my three months earnings trying to fix the exact same problem of car shutting off while driving! We did a lot of guess work until we ended up replacing almost everything! Although that problem seem to have disappeared several new ones have emerged! I hv same problem in 2012 Sylphy. Car just suddenly shut off while driving at speed ~30-50km/hr. I hv try error and change few part, crank shaft sensor, knock sensor, spark plug, and yet still happened intermittent. Lastly, i change the fuel pump. One possible cause is a faulty crankshaft sensor - when it's hot, it starts sending wrong signals.

Please help. I've purchased a free new and and even KIA took $200 and said I need to buy a $17K motor. Right. Not $1,700. K vexed because the car robs good.

Nothing in this video said the car will need to keep being charged in order for the car to work again also.
If it is like my Nissan it may have a fuse blown on the positive post side . Or something may be pulling power from it while it's parked. I pulled the negative post off on my van and it didn't drain it. But that's a bandaid. Old school way to test if alternator is working. Take positive post off and if it shuts down alternator is not working properly. When doing so turn car of before reconnecting post back to battery. One of thing is to go to is fuse box and check any fuse or relay that may keep power going to battery. Use fuse or relay that is to something that is not needed but will be good so you can replace it later. Like power seat or heated mirror or the like. Not a ECM or ECU. They go to the brain of the auto. All car's have one , wish all people did. 😂 😉

My 2020 zl1 suddenly stopped sucking gas ,I was going 75 mph , I had at least 3/4 of a tank ,i pulled over ,it would not restart, the engine light was on , I went to the trunk and disconnected and reconnected the battery, got in, and it started right away and I made it 200 miles home without issue, this is the second time this has happened , anyone got an idea? It's going to the shop on Wednesday, but I just wanted to know if anyone else has had this issue? The car has 19,000 miles.

There's not a warning signal or anything... Dashboard doesn't shut down but it lags. It shows engine is running while it doesn't and after a few seconds will show no rpms. It doesn't even start again when I try to kick-start it from the movement of the car.
My car it was the relay they replaced one relay, but they put out other relays, and they were loose, so when I'd hit a bump, the fuel relay would fail then engine off. I almost scrapped the car
2005 Ford explorer dies if I am in cruise control above 35 mph and lower the speed using 🔻. DIES when I hit 35.

Where is you located i need you to fix my car thats cutting off while driving
i have 2005 kia sportage its having poor acceleration problems and occasionally dies when taking slow turns or stopping. have a few ideas on what it might be but there is not a check engine light so therefore not sure what to start with
Which engine do you have in it? We'd suggest - start by checking the MAF sensor and cleaning it if needed.
I have a2009 saturn arua starts but then stalls all started when my electric streeing went out . Was driving oone day tracktion control light came on and killed the motor had to leave it whet back few days later fresh battery will not start towed it to my daughters house month went by took out a charged battery nothing so I sayed piss on left for couple more months and towed it back home next day put a charged battery in it stratedup then died help about ready to shit can the car
My car does the same thing. While stopping my car shut down and saying low fuel. With a full tank of gas. I’ve never let my gas get low. Car cut back on like nothing happened.
I have a 93 Silverado after 20 min in hot weather it will not start for hours also I drove it on the highway and it shut off
My girlfriend Nissan Murano has code po158 & po335...it's cuts off after running rd 15 mins then I got to mash the gas down so it will catch, an start back up..then won't start at all til 30mins til an hour..then repeat same
That definitely sounds like a crank sensor. They work fine when cold, but as they heat up and expand, their signal goes bad.
